The Star Sydney invites an experienced Head Therapist to lead our spa team within the luxury environment of The Star. You will oversee service quality, guest treatments, and team performance, ensuring personalised, high-end experiences across the spa and affiliated venues.

With a strong background in luxury spa operations and leadership, you will train and motivate staff, maintain SOP compliance, and drive guest satisfaction while achieving sales targets in a dynamic hospitality setting.

The Head Therapist reports to the Spa Manager and will deliver exceptional guest service; providing guests with warm, friendly, professional beauty services of high quality.

• Perform all treatments in accordance with SOPs and treatment protocols
• Deliver exceptional service that exceeds guest expectations through high-quality, personalised treatments
• Provide massage and beauty treatments within your qualifications and training
• Deliver treatments across the spa, Darling Hotel and The Star as required
• Build and maintain positive relationships with spa guests
• Complete guest consultations, maintain records, recommend products, drive retail sales, replenish amenities and promptly resolve complaints
• Complete all daily administration, including guest records and sales reporting
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall spa team performance

• Nationally recognised Beauty Therapy qualification (CIBTAC, ITEC, CIDESCO, City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent) or Diploma in a recognised massage modality
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) desirable
• Minimum two years' experience in a Spa Supervisor or Head Therapist role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Bilingual or multilingual skills advantageous
