About the role
- Lead, coach and inspire a geographically dispersed team of Exercise Physiologists, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous learning
- Provide professional leadership and support to Exercise Physiologists across Queensland
- Drive best practice clinical standards, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Lead clinical supervision, mentoring, onboarding, and professional development programs
- Support recruitment, workforce planning, performance development and employee engagement initiatives
- Drive financially sustainable service delivery through effective resource allocation, productivity management, and achievement of operational targets
- Monitor service performance, financial outcomes, quality measures, productivity and key performance indicators to support long term service viability
- Facilitate Communities of Practice and strengthen professional connections across regions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary Allied Health and operational teams to deliver outstanding client outcomes
- Contribute to clinical governance, accreditation activities and service improvement initiatives
- Manage complex client cases as required
What you'll bring to the role
- Tertiary qualification in Clinical Exercise Physiology - Essential
- Current ESSA Accreditation as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist
- Extensive clinical experience with demonstrated professional independence
- Proven people leadership experience, including staff supervision, coaching, mentoring, performance development and fostering high performing teams
- Demonstrated ability to balance clinical excellence with operational and financial performance outcomes
- Experience managing service delivery, workforce planning, productivity and budget considerations to support sustainable service growth
- Strong knowledge of evidence based practice and quality improvement principles
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and remote collaboration tools such as Teams or Zoom
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and willingness to travel as required - Essential
- Highly Regarded Postgraduate qualifications or working towards experience in community based care, aged care, chronic disease management or rehabilitation
- Understanding of community funding programs and aged care reforms
- Experience leading geographically dispersed teams
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification
