As the General Manager, Advisory & Delivery Services, you'll establish and lead a high-performing internal consulting function that supports some of UnitingCare's most important strategic priorities. This is a rare opportunity to shape enterprise-wide transformation, influence executive decision-making and partner with leaders across healthcare, aged care, community services and corporate functions to deliver meaningful and lasting change.
You'll lead a team of experienced consultants and advisors, tackling the organisation's most complex challenges while helping improve outcomes for the more than 400,000 people UnitingCare supports across Queensland and the Northern Territory each year.
Please note, this position is based within our Corporate team and will involve travel to other UnitingCare locations as required.
Your part in our UnitingCare team:
- Establish and lead UnitingCare's internal Advisory & Delivery Services function, creating a trusted consulting capability that helps drive strategic priorities, transformation and organisational improvement.
- Partner with Executives, General Managers and senior leaders to solve complex organisational challenges and deliver sustainable business outcomes.
- Lead enterprise-wide transformation programs, service redesign initiatives, operational improvement projects and strategic change initiatives across clinical, care, community and corporate environments.
- Build strong partnerships across the organisation, including Digital & Technology, ensuring innovative and practical solutions are delivered to support strategic objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to executives, steering committees and governance forums, providing evidence-based recommendations and strategic insight.
- Lead high-profile and sensitive advisory engagements, navigating complexity, competing priorities and organisational change with confidence and credibility
- Drive innovation, service improvement and operational excellence by helping teams identify opportunities, test new ideas and implement sustainable solutions.
- Develop and inspire a high-performing consulting team, fostering a culture of curiosity, accountability, collaboration and professional excellence.
What makes a difference for us?
- Extensive senior leadership experience within consulting, advisory, transformation, strategy, operational excellence or business improvement environments.
- Experience leading complex organisation-wide transformation, service redesign, operational improvement and strategic delivery initiatives.
- A track record of operating at Director, Associate Partner, Principal or equivalent senior leadership level within a consulting, advisory or internal strategy function
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and lead through complexity.
- Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams and building organisational capability.
- Strong commercial, strategic and systems thinking capability, with the ability to balance competing priorities and deliver impactful outcomes.
- Relevant qualifications in business, commerce, strategy, operations, health administration or a related discipline.
- Experience within healthcare, aged care, disability, human services or similarly complex service environments will be highly regarded.

About The Role
As a Rostering Officer our main coordinator of base rosters, shift replacements and payroll processes for our residential services, you will be responsible for the following:
- Managing base rosters within our Payroll system (Kronos) as well as ongoing, long- and short-term rosters
- Reallocating shifts, managing planned and unplanned leave and exceptions
- Communicating updates and informing staff of shift allocations & replacements
- Ensuring staff are working/rostered within EA and payroll reporting is ready for pay sign off
- Coordinating, managing and resolving enquiries in a high-pressure environment, including escalation of issues

In this role you will:
- Support the recruitment, assessment, induction, training and ongoing development of Professional Foster Carers.
- Receive and assess placement referrals and participate in matching children and young people with suitable care placements.
- Provide therapeutic case management, care coordination and ongoing placement support to carers, children and young people.
- Develop and review Professional Foster Care Plans and therapeutic support strategies that promote positive outcomes and placement stability.
- Deliver trauma-informed therapeutic interventions that strengthen emotional regulation, attachment, safety and wellbeing.
- Coach and support carers to implement therapeutic, relationship-based approaches within the home environment.
- Facilitate care team meetings, case reviews and collaborative planning with key stakeholders.
- Build effective partnerships with Child Safety, education, health, disability and community service providers.
- Maintain accurate case notes, reports and compliance documentation in line with legislative and organisational requirements.
- Identify and respond to safeguarding, risk and placement concerns, contributing to effective support and risk mitigation strategies.
- Participate in supervision, reflective practice, professional development and after-hours on-call arrangements as required.
What makes a difference for us?
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a recognised equivalent qualification in a relevant human services discipline.
- Minimum three years' experience delivering trauma-informed practice in child protection, out of home care, child and family services or a related field.
- Therapeutic Crisis Intervention for Families (TCIF) certification, or willingness to work towards certification.
- Demonstrated experience in therapeutic assessment, intervention and case coordination.

Your part in our Blue Care team
You'll provide holistic, integrated care to our clientsenhancing their mobility and movement to promote their independence and wellbeing. Working with a number of movement conditions associated with musculoskeletal impairments, medical conditions and chronic disease, you will tailor your care to make a real difference in your client's quality of life!
You'll have the opportunity to develop new treatment programs, helping clients to manage their movement, pain, balance and manual handling. This will include:
- Diagnosing, assessing and developing care plans for individuals and groups
- Prescription and selection of appropriate adaptive equipment and modification

- Goal setting activities, as well discharge and resolution planning

Job Description:
As a Clinical Care Partner your role is to ensure that our clients receive person-centred, high-quality care by overseeing and coordinating complex clinical and care needs through assessment, care planning and coordination of services. Aiming to achieve the best care outcomes for each client from their Aged Care Service funding through activities that include:
•
Develop and review complex care plans in collaboration with the client and multidisciplinary care team
•
Manage budgets and facilitate multidisciplinary care activities
•
Liaise with clinical teams to monitor and respond to changing needs of complex community clients
•
Continuously monitor, review and evaluate care plans, services and outcomes
•
Assist clients in navigating the care system and linking them to necessary resources where required

Role requirements:
•
Registered Nurse or Allied Health professional holding a current AHPRA registration and unlimited work entitlements- Essential
•
Demonstrated understanding and sound knowledge of client centred, community-based care services delivery
•
Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Community Funding streams and programs
•
Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
•
Current Australian Driver’s Licence - Essential
•
Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work- Essential
•
Confidence in managing your time effectively, including an ability to work autonomously.
