Your part in our St Stephens team
As Part Of Our Casual Pool, You Will Work Under The Direction And Supervision Of The Registered Nurse To Deliver Safe And Holistic Care To Individuals And Their Families, Applying Best Clinical Practice And Ensuring a Safe Environment For Optimal Patient Outcomes. In Addition To This You Will
- Deliver exceptional person-centred care by working collaboratively with your multidisciplinary team, applying exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Apply sound clinical practice which ensures a safe environment and promotes optimal patient health.
- Effectively exchange information with the Registered Nurse regarding patient responses to treatment and nursing care.
- Demonstrate application of the principles of clinical and workplace risk management.
- Achieve optimum patient care through effective collaboration with other health professionals and coordination of care.
- Achieves optimal patient outcomes through appropriate allocation of staff and delegation of work and effective communication skills.
What makes a difference for us?
- Diploma of Nursing degree or equivalent and AHPRA registration, with a minimum of 12 months post-graduate experience within an acute, hospital setting
- Experience in one or more of the following clinical areas: General Medical/Surgical, High Dependency/Cardiac, Rehabilitation

- Flexibility to work across a 24/7 rotating roster, with demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety practices
- A commitment to patient safety and quality improvements and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements, as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment

About The Role
As a Rostering Officer our main coordinator of base rosters, shift replacements and payroll processes for our residential services, you will be responsible for the following:
- Managing base rosters within our Payroll system (Kronos) as well as ongoing, long- and short-term rosters
- Reallocating shifts, managing planned and unplanned leave and exceptions
- Communicating updates and informing staff of shift allocations & replacements
- Ensuring staff are working/rostered within EA and payroll reporting is ready for pay sign off
- Coordinating, managing and resolving enquiries in a high-pressure environment, including escalation of issues
Role Requirements
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using Kronos Payroll system will be of particular advantage
- Great time-management skills and an ability to prioritise your workload
- Previous experience with a service coordination, scheduling or rostering role
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills
- Experience within payroll administration

Your part in our UnitingCare team

The purpose of this role is to provide trauma-informed therapeutic assessment, intervention and case coordination for Professional Foster Care families and the children and young people in their care. You will contribute to the delivery of an innovative family-based care model designed to improve safety, wellbeing, cultural connection and placement stability.
In this role you will:
- Support the recruitment, assessment, induction, training and ongoing development of Professional Foster Carers.
- Receive and assess placement referrals and participate in matching children and young people with suitable care placements.
- Provide therapeutic case management, care coordination and ongoing placement support to carers, children and young people.
- Develop and review Professional Foster Care Plans and therapeutic support strategies that promote positive outcomes and placement stability.
- Deliver trauma-informed therapeutic interventions that strengthen emotional regulation, attachment, safety and wellbeing.
- Coach and support carers to implement therapeutic, relationship-based approaches within the home environment.
- Facilitate care team meetings, case reviews and collaborative planning with key stakeholders.
- Build effective partnerships with Child Safety, education, health, disability and community service providers.
- Maintain accurate case notes, reports and compliance documentation in line with legislative and organisational requirements.
- Identify and respond to safeguarding, risk and placement concerns, contributing to effective support and risk mitigation strategies.
- Participate in supervision, reflective practice, professional development and after-hours on-call arrangements as required.
What makes a difference for us?
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a recognised equivalent qualification in a relevant human services discipline.
- Minimum three years' experience delivering trauma-informed practice in child protection, out of home care, child and family services or a related field.
- Therapeutic Crisis Intervention for Families (TCIF) certification, or willingness to work towards certification.
- Demonstrated experience in therapeutic assessment, intervention and case coordination.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed and strengths-based practice approaches.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience working collaboratively with children, young people, families and carers to achieve positive outcomes.

Your part in our UnitingCare team The Family Intervention Service is a home-based therapeutic service that partners with families involved with the Department of Child Safety, Seniors and Disability Services. - Managing service performance, workforce planning, resource allocation and operational outcomes.

You'll provide holistic, integrated care to our clientsenhancing their mobility and movement to promote their independence and wellbeing.
