Top Health Doctors is seeking a VR General Practitioner to join our established and busy medical clinic in West End, Brisbane. This part-time opportunity offers a 70/30 arrangement, flexible working hours, a strong long-standing patient base and exceptional nursing and administrative support in the vibrant Montague Markets precinct.
About Top Health Doctors West End
Top Health Doctors West End is a busy, established medical clinic located within Montague Markets, in the heart of one of Brisbane's most vibrant inner-city communities.
Our clinic cares for a diverse and long-standing patient base from West End, South Brisbane, Highgate Hill, Dutton Park and surrounding inner-Brisbane suburbs.
For GPs looking for a General Practitioner position in West End or inner Brisbane, this is an opportunity to join an established practice where the patient base, clinical support and infrastructure are already in place.
A major strength of our West End clinic is its exceptional nursing support, with full-time nurses supporting our doctors and patients. Our experienced reception and practice management teams provide additional day-to-day support, allowing GPs to focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
The clinic is positioned within the healthcare hub at Montague Markets, surrounded by a range of allied health and healthcare services, with pathology conveniently available onsite.
West End offers a broad scope of general practice, including family medicine, preventative health, chronic disease management, women's health, men's health, children's health, mental health, skin cancer medicine, contraception, iron infusions and minor procedures.
For a GP seeking a part-time or full-time position in a busy inner-Brisbane practice, West End provides the opportunity to work with an established patient community while enjoying the flexibility and support of a doctor-owned medical group.
The GP Opportunity- Permanent VR GP opportunity

Our location at Montague Markets places the clinic within a busy residential, retail and healthcare precinct, providing excellent convenience for both patients and doctors.
Unlike starting in a new practice and building from the ground up, this opportunity provides access to an established clinic with a long-standing patient base and strong nursing support.
For the right GP, it is an opportunity to become part of a close-knit team while developing a rewarding long-term patient base in one of Brisbane's most vibrant locations.

Leongatha Optometrists is looking for an Optometrist to join its independent, two-room practice for four days per week.
This opportunity offers the security of consistent hours from the outset, initially combining approximately two days of consulting with two days supporting optical dispensing. You'll also remain involved in dispensing for your own patients, providing continuity from the consulting room through to their eyewear selection.
As you establish your patient base and consulting demand grows, the balance of the role is expected to shift progressively towards more clinical optometry. This is not intended to remain a fixed 50/50 structure; it is an opportunity to build towards a broader consulting workload within an established practice.
Broad-scope optometry with room to developLeongatha Optometrists has cared for the local community and surrounding Gippsland region for more than 45 years.
The practice provides broad-scope primary eye care to patients across all ages, with particular clinical interests in:
- Dry eye disease and treatment
- General ocular disease diagnosis and management
- Ongoing eye-health management

- Wavefront autorefractors, including a handheld unit
- iCare tonometry
- Digital and manual phoropters
- Low-level light therapy and Blephasteam for dry eye management
Alongside your consulting work, you'll help patients translate their clinical recommendations into suitable lens and eyewear choices.
The practice is supported each day by the Optometrist/owner and Practice Manager, with an experienced Optical Dispenser also working four days per week. You'll therefore have support around you while still being encouraged to contribute your ideas and develop professionally.
You may be an experienced Optometrist looking for greater variety or a new graduate ready to commence during 2026.
You'll bring:
- Eligibility for registration as an Optometrist in Australia
- An interest in broad-scope primary care optometry
- A willingness to contribute across both consulting and optical dispensing
- Clear, considered communication with patients and colleagues
- A genuine interest in building trusted, ongoing patient relationships

About the Role
Want to work in an area that's new to you?
No experience in a clinical area isn't a barrier here. If you're interested in moving into any program we run, we support it with online onboarding, clinical shadowing. We also have clinical escalation support, plus specialist referral pathways for our main clinical areas - so you can grow your scope over time rather than being boxed into one area.
We're seeking ambitious, forward-thinking Nurse Practitioners (comfortable to see general health) who are passionate about addressing gaps in healthcare.
In addition to delivering high-quality virtual care, this role offers the opportunity to:
-
contribute to the design and evolve care models
-
lead micro-ventures or focused service lines.
You'll be working within an established, supportive environment - with the infrastructure, governance, and supportive team already in place - while still having room to build and grow.

Chronic disease management
-
Sexual health
-
Women's health, including menopause care
-
Weight loss and metabolic health
-
Smoking cessation

We combine strong clinical governance, experienced operational support, and smart systems so clinicians can focus on care, leadership, and impact - not admin.
Mental Health, Addiction & ADHD Program
If you're a Mental Health NP, this is a dedicated program, not an add-on: general mental health care, addiction support, and ADHD assessment/management, backed by clinical protocols and team support built specifically for these areas. Complex or unclear cases have specialist referral pathways available, alongside clinical shadowing and escalation support during onboarding.
We will need you to be open to skilling up into 1-2 additional programs i.e. weight loss, smoking cessation, cannabis etc.
Key Responsibilities
-
Conduct virtual consultations with patients across Australia
-
Diagnose, manage, and treat a range of acute and chronic health conditions
-
Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests within scope
-
Collaborate with other clinicians and escalate or refer to our specialists where appropriate
-
Maintain high-quality, compliant clinical documentation
-
Support regional and underserved communities through accessible care
Leadership, Growth & Ownership Opportunities
(Optional - but encouraged for the right clinicians)
Depending on your interests, there are opportunities to:
-
Lead or co-lead micro-ventures, programs, or niche clinical pathways
-
Grow services aligned to your clinical passions, expertise, or lived experience
-
Contribute to protocol design, and quality improvement
-
Progress into senior clinical, advisory, or partner-level roles
This is designed for NPs who want more than transactional shifts - and who are excited by the idea of helping build something meaningful within a safe, well-supported framework.
Equity and ownership options are available for the right clinicians - ask us about this at interview.
What We Offer
-
Work-from-anywhere flexibility
-
Competitive remuneration (hourly or sessional)
-
The opportunity to build and lead initiatives without carrying business overhead
-
Clinical escalation, governance and specialist referral pathways.
-
Fully supported onboarding, admin, and digital setup
-
Secure telehealth platform and strong clinical governance
-
A collaborative, clinician-led, and mission-driven team
-
A genuine chance to help shape the future direction of Australian healthcare
Join Us

We're especially keen to connect with NPs who:
-
value autonomy and support
-
care passionate about addressing healthcare gaps and improving access to healthcare
