About the role
The Administrative Assistant supports a multi-disciplinary team by providing high-level admin and reception services, maintaining accurate records and booking lists, managing outpatient clinic bookings, and improving departmental efficiency through effective systems and processes.
Key duties of the role
- Provide a front-line reception service to the department
- Provide appropriate support to patients, relatives and visitors and appropriately direct telephone calls and inquiries
- Ensure that enquiries regarding patient welfare are dealt with promptly by directing enquiries to relevant nursing or medical staff
- Receive and process referrals.
- Maintain confidential patient Unit Records
Skills and Experience
- Previous administrative / clerical experience.
- Experience with the use of windows and Microsoft Office products
- Experience in dealing with a wide range of organisations and senior staff members
- Ability to deal with situations, staff and patients with maturity and empathy
- Work effectively within a team environment.

Are you passionate about helping people live safely and independently at home? Seeking compassionate and reliable Community Support Workers to support older, frail, and disabled clients to maintain their wellbeing and quality of life.
What you'll do:
- Support personal care needs including hygiene, grooming and daily living tasks
- Assist with household duties such as cleaning, laundry and maintaining a safe home
- Provide social support, including shopping, errands and community engagement
- Help with mobility, transfers and use of equipment
- Assist with medications, routine care and work as part of a supportive care team
What We’re Looking For:
- Certificate 3 Aged Care/ Individual Support or working towards completion
- Experience working with aged, frail, or disabled clients
- A strong ability to work within a team and engage effectively with clients
- Excellent communication skills with a diverse range of people
- A caring, client-focused approach that promotes independence
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and adhere to care plans

About the role

About the role

- For 1 year will get you an isolation bonus of AUD$3,605. If you stay for 2 years you will get AUD$10,815… and for your 3rd year (and every year after that) you will get AUD$7,210 (pro rata for part time employees).

About the role
The Administrative Officer is responsible for the provision of a confidential secretarial, reception and administrative services to the Women’s and Children’s Health Network. Administrative Officer positions work on a weekly rotation roster, across various shift times within the clinical areas and Administrative Services Unit across the Health Network.
Key duties of the role
- Provide an effective and efficient administrative & reception service.
- Provide an efficient, fair and equitable patient focused booking service
- Assist with the provision of an efficient and effective record management service
- Support and actively participate in a positive culture and safe work environment within the department.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in providing a confidential reception, secretarial and administrative support service.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work with empathy with a diverse range of people, while demonstrating in a courteous and polite manner.
- Working knowledge of office and administrative procedures and systems, including, competent keyboard and data entry skills.
- Demonstrated initiative, good organisational skills and attention to detail.
