Yarra City Council is seeking a Senior Coordinator, Senior Support Services to lead the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) services. You will provide strategic and operational leadership, manage budgets and contracts, and guide a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality services that help older people live independently at home.

This 12-month parental leave replacement role offers a band 8 salary from $125,814.25 plus super and an RDO.

About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead Council's Senior Support Services, delivering high-quality Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) services that support older people to remain independent, connected and living safely in their own homes.

Reporting to the Manager Ageing, Equity and Community Development, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across Community Transport, Delivered Meals, Home Maintenance, Willowview Social Support Groups and Business Support. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, oversee budgets, contracts, quality and compliance, and drive continuous improvement while preparing the service for significant Commonwealth aged care reforms.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a candidate with demonstrated leadership experience in aged care, community services or a related sector to lead Council's Senior Support Services.

• Leading multidisciplinary teams across multiple service areas.
• Managing service delivery, budgets, contracts and funding requirements.
• Building strong partnerships with government, community organisations and other stakeholders.
• Driving service improvement, change management and organisational reform.
