About the role
Child and Family Health is a service of the Women's and Children's Health Network, which provides a range of early intervention, parenting and child development programs. These programs support vulnerable families with children 0-3 years, who are experiencing a range of complex issues which may impact on their children's safety, wellbeing and development.
The CaFHS Social Worker works with parents who face challenges through the provision of individual counselling, advocacy and support. The CaFHS Social Worker works as part of a multidisciplinary team to improve the early identification, assessment and care planning for families with complex needs and facing adversity. The Social Worker is based in a CaFHS region but works across sites, including Woodville, Angle Park, Port Adelaide, Ingle Farm and Enfield.
Key duties of the role
- Direct service provision for Collaborative Care eligible clients by providing specialist skills in assessment and engagement of families who are experiencing psychosocial adversity. Appointments may be completed within client homes or clinic-based.
- A positive image of the service will be conveyed through all interactions with clients.
- Takes responsibility for improving the quality of personal practice.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a service of best practice.
Skills and Experience
- Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- Establish key stakeholder and client relationships across the socio-economic spectrum and from diverse cultures and work effectively within a direct client service environment.
- Proven experience evaluating complex cases and utilising high-level counselling and/or case management practice skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of the major social and health issues facing Aboriginal people, women, fathers and children.
- Dependent on having a current drivers' licence and willingness to drive.

Overview:
The SA Health Distribution Centre Operations & Lean Manager is accountable for end-to-end operational leadership and optimisation of the Cold Storage Vaccine Distribution Centre (VDC), the Ambient SA Health Distribution Centre (DC), the SAAS On-the-Road (OTR) Logistics function, and contracted transport providers supporting statewide distribution.
- Reporting to the Associate Director, Distribution Centre, the role is accountable for ensuring the safe, efficient, compliant, and reliable movement of vaccines, scheduled medicines, consumables, and other critical health supplies across South Australia, within a complex, multi-site statewide health logistics network.
- The role is responsible for translating strategic direction into operational execution, ensuring that the SA Health Distribution Centre strategy is effectively implemented, embedded, and sustained across warehouse and transport functions.
- The position provides operational leadership aligned to the SCE Distribution Centre Operational Excellence Model, translating this into optimised warehouse and transport operations, embedded Lean practices, assured cold-chain integrity, and full compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS), Chain of Responsibility (CoR), Dangerous Goods (DG), Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), and Wholesale Dealers Licence (WDL) requirements.
- The role fosters a high-performance, safety-focused culture, ensuring operations are standardised, sustainable, and responsive to evolving service demands. It provides operational insight and performance advice to the Associate Director to support strategic decision-making and continuous system improvement.
- The role requires availability for after-hours contact to support business continuity and respond to critical operational incidents impacting service delivery.

Overview:

Selection Criteria

The primary role of the Unaccredited Trainee – General Surgery is under direction and supervision to review the needs of inpatients and outpatients and to provide appropriate care and services to secure optimal health outcomes. There is an expectation that this position will contribute to the surgical on-call roster at least once a week and to the surgical on-call weekend roster as published.
This position offers an opportunity for further General Surgery training and operative experience for a candidate considering a Surgical career in a contemporary setting supported by the latest equipment at a state of the art Level 5 facility.
The Unaccredited Trainee provides clinical assessments, management advice, care of emergency admissions and works with inpatients as required and directed, performing any necessary operative procedures required for the care and treatment of such patients and the arrangement of patient admission and discharge processes.
The Unaccredited Trainee will attend and assess patients in the Emergency Department and also provide operative care / assistance on patients in theatres during rostered hours and while on call.
The Unaccredited Trainees are supervised by senior medical staff to ensure they are entrusted with responsibilities commensurate within their capabilities. The Head of the Department or their delegate will conduct the mid-term and end-of-term assessments and provide feedback where appropriate.

Northern Beaches Hospital
Northern Beaches Hospital provides world-class, Level 5 delineation services for both public and private patients. The hospital features 486 beds, 50-bed Emergency Department, 20-bed general and cardiothoracic ICU, 14 fully equipped theatres, including hybrid theatres, two cardiac catheter labs, extensive digital imaging / diagnostic facilities, medical centre collocated with ED, state of the art education and interactive SIM centre and a Helipad for Emergency Transport.
The Northern Beaches Hospital provides a high standard of education and training, with dedicated supervisors, teachers and a JMO Unit that supports all activities related to rostering, training, education and welfare of junior doctors.
On level 4 of the 9-storey hospital is the Education Centre where doctors can access a range of facilities. These include the latest technology for teaching, simulation and presentations, plus various meeting rooms and conference areas.
There is capability to stream education sessions to/from other facilities, as well as within the hospital for the simulation rooms and theatres.

The Cabrini Nuclear Medicine and PET Department provides comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatient and outpatient populations. Equipped with two Nuclear Medicine cameras (SPECT/CT) and a new Digital PET camera , the department delivers high-quality imaging to support a wide range of clinical needs.
The department performs a full suite of Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging studies, supporting specialties including oncology, cardiology, and neurology. In addition to diagnostic imaging, Cabrini offers a variety of targeted therapies such as radioactive iodine (I-131) for thyroid disease, Selective Internal Radiation Therapy (SIRT), OncoBeta therapy for non-melanoma skin cancers, and Theranostic treatments using Lu-177 PSMA for prostate cancer.
Cabrini Nuclear Medicine and PET is also actively involved in numerous clinical trials, contributing to advancements in cancer care, heart disease evaluation, and neurological imaging.

About the Role

Cabrini Palliative Care Medicine
The Advanced Trainee in Palliative Care will work under the direction of the Director of Palliative Medicine and will gain exposure to, and experience in, the delivery of high-quality inpatient palliative care at Cabrini Malvern.
This role provides opportunities to develop advanced clinical skills in symptom management, whole-person care, advanced communication, psychosocial assessment, ethical decision-making in end-of-life care, and interdisciplinary teamwork. The trainee will also develop advanced knowledge and skills in pharmacology and prescribing.
The Advanced Trainee will be expected to contribute to the ongoing education, research and quality assurance programme as directed by the consultants in palliative medicine, contribute to a vibrant research program, participate in education within the framework of the Mission, Values, and Vision, and the Behaviours that Matter to Cabrini.
This is an onsite role covering 43 hours per week Monday to Friday.
How you will make an impact
- Admission of all new patients to the palliative care ward.
- Day to day clinical management of palliative care inpatients.
- Management of prescribing, discharge planning, and key administrative activities pertaining to patient care.
- Communication with patients, their families and relevant health care staff.
- Participating and contributing to quality processes and protocols.
- Actively and regularly participating in peer review patient related activities.

What we're looking for:

Medical Imaging Department
Cabrini’s Medical Imaging provides a 24-hour service seven days a week at our Malvern campus. The department services a variety of patients including outpatients, inpatients and ED patients across our Malvern and Brighton campuses. Modalities include General Xray, Cath Lab, Hybrid Lab, Angiography, CT, MRI, Mammography and DEXA. We also offer Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging.
We are seeking applications from suitably qualified, enthusiastic and highly motivated Medical Imaging Technologists to join our team. The successful applicant will be able to participate in a rotating seven-day roster.
What the role involves:
- Providing care to the patient before, during and after the medical imaging examination, ensuring compassionate, competent care and service.
- Examining the patient radiographically, as and when requested in writing by a qualified medical practitioner, according to the imaging protocols of the department or as directed by the consultant radiologist.

- Diploma or Bachelor degree in Radiography / Radiation / Medical Imaging
