You are a compassionate and dedicated individual with a strong commitment to quality patient care and outcomes. With your relevant nursing qualifications and registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA, you bring a wealth of experience in mental health and a passion for supporting women's mental health. Your excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and positive attitude make you a valuable asset to our team.
You will have:
Relevant nursing qualifications and registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position, preferably in mental health.
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations and priorities.

Job Description:

About the Role
You will provide crucial clerical support and facilitate patient management for the Palliative Care unit. Including admitting patients completing reception duties and delivering exceptional customer service. A key component of the role is ensuring patient confidentiality is always preserved.
- Create patient records and complete all necessary information accurately and in line with current procedures
- Admit patients accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain a high level of customer service by handling patient/ family enquires via telephone and in person, in an efficient, professional, and caring manner
- Arrange appointments for patients as requested by clinical staff
The classification for this position will be HS1 - HS17 ($65,739 - $72,677 per annum pro rata)
Your Contribution
- Previous administration experience in a health setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of private health fund billing and public health funding
- Knowledge of Patient Administration Systems
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently in a multidisciplinary team
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent customer service skills
- A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal history check, or willing to obtain

About the Role

How you will make an impact in the role
Cabrini’s Medical Imaging Department provides a 24-hour service seven days a week at our Malvern campus and services a variety of patients including outpatients, inpatients and ED patients. Modalities include General Xray, Cath Lab, Hybrid Lab, Angiography, CT, MRI, Mammography and DEXA. We also offer Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging.
Requisite training will be provided, with the successful applicant then able to participate in the night shift roster.
Responsibilities of the Medical Imaging Technologist Grade 3 include:
Providing care to the patient before, during and after the medical imaging examination, ensuring compassionate, competent care and service.
Examining the patient radiographically, as and when requested in writing by a qualified medical practitioner, according to the imaging protocols of the department or as directed by the consultant radiologist.
Performing and assisting with radiographic procedures while remaining conscious of the standards required and conforming to the ALARA principle to produce the highest diagnostic quality image(s).

Diploma or Bachelor degree in Radiography / Radiation / Medical Imaging
Recent experience in a similar position with demonstrated experience in CT scanning (essential)
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Strong communication skills with a patient focused caring attitude

Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team

About the role
The Technology Finance Operations Specialist is responsible for the effective financial management and optimisation of SJGHC technology expenditure across cloud, on-premises infrastructure, software, SaaS, AI, licensing and managed services.

Key responsibilities
- Monitor and analyse technology spend across cloud, infrastructure, software, SaaS, AI, licensing and managed services.
- Develop and maintain financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting for technology expenditure.

- Partner with Finance, Procurement and Technology teams to support strategic planning and investment decisions.

Your skills and experience

With a strong understanding of infrastructure, software, SaaS, AI, licensing, and managed services expenditure, you will be confident analysing complex financial and utilisation data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improved efficiency and value.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, together with an understanding of software licensing models and technology commercial frameworks, will be highly regarded.
Able to build strong relationships across Finance, Procurement, and Technology teams, you will have the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights and practical recommendations. Previous Health industry experience will be highly regarded

About the role
The Technology Finance Operations Specialist is responsible for the effective financial management and optimisation of SJGHC technology expenditure across cloud, on-premises infrastructure, software, SaaS, AI, licensing and managed services.
Working closely with technology and business stakeholders, the Technology Finance Operations Specialist will provide critical oversight of technology costs, improve financial transparency and reporting, and drive forecasting accuracy to support strategic decision-making. The position plays a key role in identifying cost optimisation opportunities, managing technology investment planning, and supporting asset lifecycle and contract renewal activities to ensure technology spending delivers maximum value, aligns with organisational objectives, and supports sustainable operational performance.
The role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis, working 38 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and analyse technology spend across cloud, infrastructure, software, SaaS, AI, licensing and managed services.
- Develop and maintain financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting for technology expenditure.
- Identify cost optimisation, savings and efficiency opportunities across technology services and assets.
- Partner with Finance, Procurement and Technology teams to support strategic planning and investment decisions.
- Analyse software, licensing and cloud utilisation to improve value, performance and compliance.
- Support contract renewals, technology lifecycle management and vendor expenditure reviews.
- Produce regular FinOps reporting, insights and recommendations to inform decision-making and manage financial risk.
- Maintain accurate financial and licensing records while supporting continuous improvement in technology cost governance and controls.
Your skills and experience
You will bring proven experience in technology financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimisation across cloud and on-premises technology environments. With a strong understanding of infrastructure, software, SaaS, AI, licensing, and managed services expenditure, you will be confident analysing complex financial and utilisation data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improved efficiency and value.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, together with an understanding of software licensing models and technology commercial frameworks, will be highly regarded.
Able to build strong relationships across Finance, Procurement, and Technology teams, you will have the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights and practical recommendations. Previous Health industry experience will be highly regarded

The SVHM ICU contract will be 0.8 EFT for a fixed-term 12 month period. Requests for higher FTE is negotiable. Rotating roster pattern, including 8 hour AM and PM shifts, and 10 hour night duty shifts
Successful candidates are then required to enrol into the Graduate Certificate of Intensive Care Nursing with Deakin University (Burwood) to complete the academic requirements.
To fulfil the employment contract with SVHM ICU, students must be enrolled in the Graduate Certificate of Intensive Care Nursing with Deakin University (Burwood) for the full 1 year period.
Progression to Semester 2 and continuation of employment within the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is conditional upon the successful completion of all required academic and clinical components of Semester 1.
Post successful completion of the Postgraduate year, potential ongoing employment opportunities within the ICU will be discussed.
Classifications for this position will range from YP4-YP9 ($86,684 - $104,379 per annum).
Selection criteria
Applicants must hold current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse without conditions
Applicants must have completed a minimum of 2 years nursing practice working in an acute care setting in a tertiary hospital (inclusive of graduate nurse year)
Applicants must meet the AHPRA standard on English language skills and have basic computer skills
Applicants must be willing to undergo a National Police Record Check prior to commencement of the program

About SVHM - Intensive Care Unit
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne (SVHM) is a 19 bed environment (funded to 15 ICU equivalent beds) caring for patients requiring critical care. It accommodates elective and emergency surgical and medical patients.
The ICU admits deteriorating patients from the ward environment, Operating Theatre, Emergency Department plus external admissions from other metropolitan and rural hospitals via Adult Retrieval Victoria (ARV).
Postgraduate nursing students’ clinical requirements for the Graduate Certificate of Intensive Care Nursing (Deakin) are completed at SVHM ICU. Students are supported in providing one-to-one care to patients with a range of different requirements including: advanced haemodynamic monitoring, management of vasoactive and inotropic drugs, temporary pacing, external ventricular drains / Codman’s, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), invasive mechanical ventilation, non-invasive ventilation (NIV), and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapies (CRRT).

About the Role

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse with demonstrated experience in Palliative Care to join our supportive and compassionate team at St John of God Murdoch Hospital on a permanent part-time basis, working 28 hours per week.
Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care to patients with life-limiting illnesses and support their families throughout their healthcare journey. You will play an important role in promoting comfort, dignity and quality of life, while supporting patients and families through complex and often challenging circumstances.

Key Responsibilities
Provide safe, compassionate and evidence-based nursing care to patients receiving palliative care.
Assess and respond to patients’ physical, emotional, psychological, social and spiritual needs.
Support effective symptom management, including pain and other complex symptoms associated with advanced illness.
Develop and evaluate individualised care plans in collaboration with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team.
Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families throughout their palliative care journey.
Advocate for patients and ensure their wishes, dignity, comfort and individual needs remain at the centre of care.
Recognise and respond appropriately to changes in a patient's condition, escalating concerns where required.
Work collaboratively with medical, allied health and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and quality of care.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital standards and legislative
Your skills and experience
You will be a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse who is committed to providing person-centred care to patients with life-limiting illness.
You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with patients, families and members of the multidisciplinary team.
To succeed in this role, you will hold registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse. Previous experience in palliative care, oncology, medical nursing or caring for patients with complex and chronic health conditions will be highly regarded.
A relevant postgraduate qualification in Palliative Care or a related area will be highly regarded.

As a Medical Receptionist/Administrator you will provide professional reception and administrative services to doctors, patients, referring practitioners and allied health staff in the Cabrini Specialist centres.
