Join Roshana Care Group - Turn Your Passion into a Career
Are you ready for a role where you can walk out the door knowing you have changed someone's day for the better? At Roshana Care Group, we have been proudly caring for older Australians for more than 20 years across Western Australia, Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia, and Victoria, and we are continuing to grow. Guided by our values of Compassion, Respect, Communication, Teamwork, and Integrity, we do not just provide care - we create real homes and real connections.
About the Facility
Macleod Aged Care is a 52-bed residential aged care home in Macleod, Melbourne, close to public transport and local amenities. The home offers comfortable accommodation, communal lounges and a supportive, community-focused care team. We are looking for a Facility Manager to join our aged care team at Macleod Aged Care, in a full-time capacity.
About the Role
As a Facility Manager, you will take full responsibility for the operational, clinical, and financial performance of our aged care facility. You will lead a multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centred care in a safe, supportive, and well-managed environment.
This is a senior leadership role suited to an experienced aged care professional who thrives on accountability, people leadership, and driving continuous improvement.
What You Will Be Doing
- Oversee the overall operations of the aged care facility, ensuring smooth daily functioning
- Lead, support, and develop clinical, care, hospitality, and support teams
- Ensure compliance with aged care quality standards, legislation, and organisational policies
- Drive a culture of person-centred care, safety, dignity, and respect
- Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and operational performance
- Manage stakeholder relationships including residents, families, staff, and external providers
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure continuous service enhancement
- Support workforce planning, recruitment, and staff development
- Respond to and manage clinical and operational risks effectively
What You Will Bring
- Background as a Registered Nurse or relevant health/aged care qualification (preferred)
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Significant experience in aged care leadership or facility management
- Strong understanding of aged care quality standards, compliance, and governance
- Proven ability to lead and motivate large multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Financial and operational management experience
- A calm, professional, and solutions-focused leadership style
- A National Police Clearance or NDIS Screening Check, or willingness to obtain this
Why You Will Love Working with Us
- Real career pathways, with opportunities to grow within the company
- Ongoing training, mentoring, and opportunities to learn on the job
- Supportive, approachable leaders who listen and support
- A friendly, inclusive team that enjoys working together, celebrates achievements, and supports one another
- Access to an Employee Assistance Program for additional support when you need it
- A values driven culture where your ideas are welcomed and your hard work is recognised
Your life is yours to live, we're simply along to support the ride. This is always how we've seen our role; to stand beside you on your journey, never leading or pushing you towards a certain goal or lifestyle. That means that a lot of what we do starts with a curiosity to get to know you. We listen and then design a care plan that suits your needs. This mandate extends to all areas of support - from mental health care to aged care and independent living assistance. When it comes to people, being heard is often the most important thing.
