The Package

The Role
Looking for real scope, real impact, and real community connection? We are looking for suitably qualified GPs to take up roles with the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Far West NSW, at a variety of outreach locations.
Join the RFDS and practise medicine where it truly matters. This is a genuine rural generalist opportunity offering clinical variety, procedural exposure, and the chance to make a lasting difference.
This is not a standard clinic role. You’ll see diverse presentations, build continuity with remote patients, and become part of the communities you serve. You will fly in and out via aircraft or use road travel for drive-in clinics.
You will have support from a number of multidisciplinary team members including flight nurses, medical officers, pilots and the executive team along with fully equipped facilities.
Rostering
Available cycles in the form of:
- 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
- 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off
- month on/ month off
Happy to discuss models with candidates but looking for continuity to ensure patient stability and team cohesion.
The Package
As a GP you may elect to be paid via:
- a salary package ($211,927 to $296,805), or
- percentage-based remuneration (70% billings earning typically $2,000 to $2,500 per day)
Benefits include:
- $30,000 per year housing allowance, paid fortnightly, for the full duration of employment
- Car allowance, will be built into the package, ongoing
- Visa nomination, lawyer fees, government visa fees, medicals, registration and police check fees covered

Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
Location: North-West Tasmania
Position Type: Multiple positions available - permanent, full time shift worker, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. *hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant.

The Position
We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses for the Emergency Department at the Mersey Community Hospital and the Northwest Regional Hospital. We are looking for passionate nurses who not only are clinically sound but also value the human interactions that build the core meaning of what it is to care for people. The ideal candidate will be professional, dedicated, compassionate, and empathic, taking time in their day to connect with patients while they are at their most vulnerable. This will ensure that every patient journey reflects safety, respect and professionalism. The ideal Registered Nurse will:
- Have post graduate qualification in Emergency Nursing and Emergency nursing experience with skills in Triage and Resuscitation.

The Team
The Emergency Departments at Mersey Community Hospital (MCH) and North West Regional Hospital (NWRH) deliver high-quality emergency care to communities across North-West Tasmania. Each site has its own identity, leadership, and patient flow, whilst continuing to work closely together, operating under shared nursing and medical governance, with a strong focus on teamwork, professional support, and safe, patient-centred care. The Northwest Emergency Departments are dynamic, high-energy environments where no two shifts are the same. Featuring dedicated resuscitation bays, acute and sub-acute care areas, a fast-track zone, and an ED short stay unit.
The team is passionate about supporting our nurses from day one, with a structured onboarding experience that includes a Transition to Emergency Nursing program designed to build confidence and capability in this fast-paced specialty. Strong academic partnerships with local and interstate universities provide exciting opportunities to further your professional development through postgraduate study.
This recruitment campaign is for experienced Emergency Department nurses, with successful applicants appointed to the Emergency Department service and allocated to either MCH or NWRH based on service requirements. You Will Need
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.

- Competent in resuscitation roles inclusive of airway, procedures and scribe.
- Completed ETEK and triage competent.

We are seeking a Staff Specialist Radiation Oncologist to join a growing and progressive cancer service in Tasmania. This role offers the opportunity to work within a highly collaborative multidisciplinary environment, providing consultant-level care across both inpatient and outpatient settings while contributing to a well-established and expanding oncology service.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality radiation oncology services, including participation in an on-call roster, involvement in quality assurance initiatives, and contributing to ongoing service development.

Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia in Radiation Oncology
Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR)

The Position
Skilled Medical is currently seeking a Head of Unit/Clinical Director of Emergency Medicine (FACEM) to commence a permanent role in a regional Victorian base hospital.
This role is approx. 0.7 FTE non-clinical and 0.3 FTE clinical with the ability to negotiate load. It offers an attractive salary and the chance to provide operational and strategic clinical leadership in a base hospital and within a larger health service group.

Essential Criteria
• Medical qualification and current emergency specialist registration with AHPRA.
• Fellow of Australasian College of Emergency Medicine.
• Broad experience across the spectrum of emergency medicine.
• Previous experience in a senior leadership role is desirable.
• Demonstrated skills in multidisciplinary team building in acute health care settings.
The Package
$450,000 base salary + additional allowances and superannuation.
