About the Role
As a New Street Counsellor - Identified, you'll play a vital role in delivering culturally responsive, therapeutic counselling to children, young people and their families/carers. Your role will extend beyond direct clinical practice, with opportunities to:
- Provide culturally informed consultation and act as a cultural broker across Hunter New England Local Health District, working collaboratively with communities, government and non-government organisations.
- Provide cultural consultation to New Street clinicians supporting Aboriginal children, young people and families, as well as health services across the District.
- Build strong partnerships with external services including Department of Communities and Justice, Department of Education, NDIS funded services, NGOs and Out of Home Care agencies.
- Contribute your cultural knowledge and clinical perspective to strengthen service delivery and improve outcomes for Aboriginal children, young people and families.
Reporting to the Service Manager, Children and Young People Sexual Safety Services, you'll be connected to a statewide network of Aboriginal and non Aboriginal New Street clinicians, providing access to shared expertise, collaboration and a broader community of practice.
Professional growth is a key part of the role, with access to role specific training, cultural and clinical supervision, ongoing support and professional development opportunities through the Children and Young People Sexual Safety Program at Sydney Children's Hospital Network. While this position is initially offered for a 12 month period, there may be an opportunity for the contract to be extended following review and consideration of service needs.

New Street Hunter New England is a specialised, community based early intervention service supporting young people aged 10-17 who display harmful sexual behaviours (HSB) and have not been criminally prosecuted for a range of reasons.
The service takes a trauma informed, culturally responsive and early intervention approach, with a particular focus on improving outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people and those living in Out of Home Care.
With teams based across Tamworth and Newcastle, you'll be part of a dedicated service working collaboratively to support young people, families and communities through meaningful, evidence informed intervention.

Veterinary Specialists of Sydney (VSOS) is
seeking an experienced radiographer to join our specialist veterinary hospital in Miranda, a ten-month appointment commencing December 2026, including a handover period before covering nine months of leave, with the potential for ongoing employment.
This position has a particular focus on supporting our neurology service through high-quality MRI and CT imaging. There is potential for the role to continue beyond the initial term, depending on
service demand and the successful candidate's skills. This position is collaborative and works across several departments, including internal medicine, surgery, anaesthesia, cardiology and neurology and alongside our
human sonographers who have been working with our animal patients for 5 years now, from human healthcare.
Radiographers from human healthcare are encouraged to apply. Previous veterinary experience is not
essential. We will provide veterinary-specific onboarding and support as you become familiar with our patients, positioning and imaging protocols. You will also work alongside sonographers who transitioned from human healthcare and have been imaging our veterinary patients for five years.
The roleWorking closely with our veterinary clinicians and nursing team, you will:
- Perform MRI and CT examinations, with a particular emphasis on neurological cases.
- Deliver high-quality brain and spine imaging to support clinical assessment and treatment planning.
- Adapt imaging protocols in consultation with the clinical team.
- Assess image quality, troubleshoot artefacts and complete appropriate reconstructions.
- Maintain MRI and radiation safety standards, imaging records and quality assurance processes.
- Coordinate imaging efficiently within a busy specialist hospital.
- Our anaesthesia team manages anaesthesia, physiological monitoring and anaesthetic patient care throughout scanning, allowing you to focus on image acquisition and quality while maintaining MRI and radiation safety.
You bring:
- A recognised qualification in diagnostic radiography or medical imaging.
- Strong practical MRI experience and competence in CT.
- Experience in brain and spine MRI.
- Sound judgement in MRI safety, protocol selection and image optimisation.
- Clear communication, a collaborative approach and confidence working with a multidisciplinary team.
- A willingness to learn veterinary anatomy, positioning and clinical workflows.
- The registration and radiation use authorisations applicable to the position.
Experience with Siemens MRI and CT systems will be highly regarded.

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Psychologist to join our growing multidisciplinary team in Queanbeyan NSW, Australia
About the RoleAs a Psychologist at ESA, you will play a key role in supporting children, adolescents, and their families through high-quality assessment and intervention services. Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment, you will have the opportunity to build strong clinical skills while making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.

Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments for:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Intellectual Developmental Disorders
- Other developmental, behavioural, and emotional concerns
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs
- Develop, implement, and review client-centred goals alongside families and key stakeholders
- Prepare high-quality clinical reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with allied health professionals, educators, support coordinators, and community partners
- Support children and young people aged 2 to 18 years to enhance participation, independence, and wellbeing

You are a compassionate, client-focused psychologist who is passionate about supporting children, young people, and families to achieve meaningful outcomes.
Essential Requirements- Tertiary qualification in Psychology
- Current General Registration with AHPRA
- Experience conducting assessments and delivering therapeutic interventions
- Strong communication, report writing, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Current Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Check
- Current Driver's Licence and access to a fully insured vehicle
- Experience working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions
- ADOS-2 and/or MIGDAS training and experience
- Experience within multidisciplinary, disability, or community-based settings
- Knowledge of the NDIS environment
