About the role
An exceptional opportunity exists for a commercially minded and relationship-focused Business Development Manager to lead Specialist recruitment, retention and optimisation initiatives across St John of God Murdoch Hospital.
In this influential role, you will drive business growth by developing and implementing strategies that attract and retain high-quality Specialists, strengthen clinical service offerings, and support the long-term success of our hospital and services.
Working closely with hospital leadership, Specialists, General Practitioners and key stakeholders, you will design and deliver targeted business development initiatives and implement a comprehensive GP engagement program.
Through your strong stakeholder management skills, strategic thinking and ability to build lasting partnerships, you will play a key role in enhancing referral networks, growing service demand and supporting exceptional patient care outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:
- Drive business growth through targeted specialist recruitment, retention and business development initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with specialists, supporting their onboarding, engagement and practice growth.
- Partner with hospital leadership to identify opportunities, deliver strategic projects and achieve operational and financial objectives.
- Lead the attraction, recruitment and engagement of high-value specialists in line with hospital growth strategies.
- Manage the specialist journey from initial engagement through to accreditation and onboarding, ensuring a positive and seamless experience.
- Lead the delivery and evaluation of targeted GP engagement and education programs to strengthen referral networks.
- Develop and implement specialist and GP outreach strategies, while fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders including the RACGP.
- Oversee Business Development coordination activities and collaborate with marketing teams to create impactful communications and engagement initiatives.
Your skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you will bring strong business development experience, ideally gained within a large and complex organisation, together with tertiary qualifications in business, commerce or a related discipline.
You will have a proven ability to build and influence key stakeholder relationships, with previous experience working closely with medical specialists or clinicians highly regarded. Your leadership capability, commercial acumen and understanding of the private healthcare sector will enable you to identify growth opportunities and drive successful outcomes.
Experience leading change, influencing stakeholders and delivering business growth initiatives will be key to your success. Postgraduate qualifications in Business or Health Management, along with an understanding of medical training pathways, will be advantageous.

St John of God Healthcare at Home (HAH) offers a range of out of hospital services including hospital substitution and acute and non-acute services delivered by a multidisciplinary care team of nurses, midwives, lactation consultants, allied health practitioners and support workers to assist clients recover at home after a hospital stay. The service provides more than 110,000 home care visits each year and provides nursing, midwifery and lactation support, and allied health services in the home.
About the role
We are seeking two compassionate and organised Administration Assistants to join our Healthcare at Home (HAH) team, supporting patients throughout their care journey from admission through to discharge.
In this important role, you will help ensure every patient experiences a smooth and welcoming service by coordinating administrative processes, maintaining accurate records, and providing timely support to patients, caregivers and clinicians.
In this role, you will deliver professional and caring customer service while contributing to the effective day-to-day operation of the HAH service. Your ability to build positive relationships, communicate with empathy, and manage competing priorities will help ensure patients receive the support they need at every stage of their care.
Both roles are offered on a casual basis and are based in Osborne Park. We are seeking candidates who can provide flexibility across a seven-day roster, including regular weekend availability, to support the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborates with the clinical teams to support the seamless delivery of patient care.
- Responds to patient queries with appropriate escalation to clinical resources.
- Compilation and management of the patient file including patient admission documentation, care plans, medications charts and clinical notes in accordance with the National Standards.
- Processes patient referrals including scheduling visits to ensure appropriate allocation of resources considering skills and geographical location to optimize efficiencies.
- Provides accurate data entry of patient information using the Patient Management System in alignment with procedures.
- Initial point of contact for the site, always ensuring a welcoming quality customer focused service with a pleasant demeanour to visitors both in person and via the telephone.
Your skills and experience
We are looking for a self-starter with a strong work ethic who can prioritise, multitask and will provide the highest standard of customer service for patient/client needs in all areas of service while always upholding privacy and confidentiality.
Previous experience in a health care environment will be highly regarded, along with a sound understanding of medical terminology and health fund processes. Experience working with patient management systems and a strong knowledge of healthcare administration practices will support your success in this role and enable you to contribute effectively to a positive patient experience.
Successful applicants must have a current National Police Clearance (that can be validated within 3 months).

We offer a wide range of services, caring for inpatients, outpatients and day patients across a range of specialties including medical, surgical, rehabilitation and allied health.
About the role
SJG Bunbury Theatre manages its own Endoscopy reprocessing service, and we are seeking an Endoscopy Sterilisation Technician to join our dedicated team.
Working within a small and supportive team, you will be responsible for all aspects of endoscope management within the Endoscopy Unit, helping to ensure an efficient and high-quality service.
Bunbury SSD provides all other sterilisation services to SJG, and as part of this service arrangement, you will work closely and collaboratively with the Bunbury SSD team.

The Position
- Must have a comprehensive and sound knowledge with demonstrated practical competency in endoscopy reprocessing
- Must have a sound knowledge of GENCA and AS/NZ 5369 standards related to endoscopy reprocessing and storage; Infection control and biotesting.
- Will work in a small team and responsible for the daily management of Endoscopy lists; Preparing and reprocessing all endoscopes as required.
- Is responsible for all daily checks of endoscopy reprocessing equipment; Storage units and chemical water unit as per unit policy and service agreements.
- Must have a good understanding of using an instrument tracking system, e.g Instacount.
- Will work closely together with SSD Supervisor ensuring required tasks and relevant standards are met. Theatre Nurse Unit Manager is the liaison between SSD and Endoscopy Unit.
- Prepares for, and deals with endoscopes/equipment received as per policy statements for appropriate decontamination processes.
- Prepares for, and carries out assembly, storage and reprocessing processes within the endoscopy department and related areas as per policy statements.
- Monitors reprocessing and storage activities as per policy statement and escalates concerns to Theatre Unit Manager
- Ensure efficient use and maintenance of equipment and material resources in endoscopy department and related areas, e.g. TOE reprocessing in Angiography Unit.
- Check relevant inventory to ensure adequate supplies are ordered, prepared and ready for use.
- Monitor the use of storage areas in the department and related areas.
- Ensures accurate records are maintained
You will have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to coordinate, liaise and work collaboratively with colleagues and other multidisciplinary team members.
To succeed as a Sterilisation Technician, you will hold a Certificate in Sterilisation at AQF3 or equivalent and hold previous relevant experience with the ability to teach within the Endoscopy and SSD related areas.
We will provide you with a comprehensive orientation programme and education related to the Endoscopy Reprocessing equipment and processes in the unit.

The Position

The Job
- Provide excellent compassionate service paying particular attention to the needs of the patient.

Key Responsibilities

In this rewarding role, you will coordinate and continuously enhance the Workplace Based Assessment (WBA) Program, supporting International Medical Graduates (IMGs) throughout their assessment journey while ensuring a positive, well-structured and supportive experience. Working closely with licensing authorities, Medical Administration, workforce and rostering teams, you will oversee assessment planning, provide guidance on performance and progression, and offer mentoring and career support to help candidates successfully navigate the pathway to registration and ongoing clinical practice.

About the role
As a suitably qualified Enrolled Nurse (EN) or Registered Nurse (RN), you will join our 30-bed Acute Medical Ward 3A. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise within a fast-paced, collaborative environment while providing high-quality care to our patients. As a valued member of our friendly and approachable team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in a safe, effective, and compassionate manner.
We currently have seven permanent part-time positions available, working up to 70 hours per fortnight. Positions will be offered to suitable applicants available to work a 7-hour shift roster across Monday to Sunday.
Key responsibilities
Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate patient care, seeking support from senior staff as required to patients in our Acute Medical Ward
Promote and contribute to effective communication, facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the department and within the hospital.
Provide patient education and act as a resource where appropriate.
Support and supervise staff and students as required, including orientating and precepting staff.
Contribute to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives.
Provides direct total patient care to patients to achieve identified outcomes in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures and Care Paths.
Skills and Experience
The successful applicant will hold current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse and demonstrate strong clinical skills relevant to an acute medical hospital environment.
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, a proven ability to identify and resolve issues effectively, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant – Continence/Urology to lead the delivery of exceptional nursing care, education and clinical expertise within the Continence/Urology Service.

The role is offered on a 12-month, part-time contract basis, working 14 hours per week.
Key responsibilities

Your skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you will be a Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration and extensive experience in continence and urology nursing, supported by a postgraduate qualification in Continence/Urology or a commitment to working towards one. You will demonstrate advanced clinical expertise and a strong commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centred care.
You will have a sound understanding of relevant clinical standards, experience in education and mentoring, and the ability to apply evidence-based practice to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
Postgraduate qualifications, research experience and previous involvement in clinical trials will be highly regarded.

About the role
St John of God Midland Public Hospital is seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader Gastroenterology Services to support the daily operations of our Public and Private Gastroenterology Services.
Reporting to the Outpatient Performance Manager, you will provide first-line leadership, guidance and mentoring to administration teams supporting public and private gastroenterology outpatient clinics and endoscopy services, ensuring excellent patient care, efficient service delivery and seamless coordination across both service streams.
In this role, you will coordinate team workloads, rostering and leave planning, support public waitlist management and private patient administration processes, oversee billing-related activities, and contribute to staff development, quality improvement initiatives and operational performance. Working closely with clinicians and key stakeholders, you will play an important role in ensuring patients receive timely, high-quality care while fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, support and mentor the Gastroenterology administration team across public and private outpatient clinics and endoscopy services to deliver high-quality, patient-focused care.
- Coordinate daily operations, including staff rostering, leave planning and workload allocation across public and private Gastroenterology Services.
- Monitor outpatient clinics and public waitlists to support timely access to care and achievement of service performance targets.
- Provide expert guidance on administrative processes, including Medicare, public billing and private health fund requirements.
