Use your consulting skills to make a meaningful difference with us
What if your next consulting engagement was not about delivering a recommendation and moving on, but helping improve services that people and communities rely on every day?
As a Principal, Advisory and Delivery Services, you will lead high-priority transformation and project delivery engagements across one of Australia’s largest not-for-profit organisations. Partnering with senior leaders across hospitals, aged care, community services and corporate functions, you will help shape responses to complex business challenges and lead critical projects from scope through to implementation and handover.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for an experienced consultant who can move confidently between the executive table, project teams and frontline service environments. You will also lead and develop a talented team of Senior Consultants and Consultants, strengthening UnitingCare’s internal advisory and project delivery capability.
Please note, this position is full-time, based onsite at our corporate office. Travel to service locations will be required.
Your part in our UnitingCare team:
- Lead a portfolio of complex advisory engagements and critical projects, taking work from initial scoping and mobilisation through to implementation, benefits realisation and handover.
- Partner with business leaders across Hospitals, BlueCare, Lifeline Queensland, Family and Disability Services and corporate functions to understand priorities, shape the right approach and deliver practical, sustainable outcomes.
- Mobilise and lead multidisciplinary teams, providing the direction, structure and delivery discipline needed to maintain momentum and achieve results.
- Bring together consulting, project delivery, service design and change expertise to deliver initiatives across diverse clinical, care, community and corporate environments.
- Translate complex analysis into clear recommendations, executive briefings, Board papers and practical implementation roadmaps that support informed decisions and action.
- Lead and develop Senior Consultants and Consultants, while strengthening the methods, standards and capability of UnitingCare’s Advisory and Delivery Services function.
- Contribute to building the capability, methods, frameworks and standards of UnitingCare's Advisory and Delivery Services function.
What makes a difference for us?
- Extensive management consulting experience, ideally gained at a senior level within a consulting firm or mature internal advisory function.
- Demonstrated success leading complex consulting, transformation and project delivery engagements from scoping and mobilisation through to implementation and handover.
- Strong understanding of the health, aged care or broader human services sectors, including their clinical, regulatory and commercial drivers.
