We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Prosthesis & Supply Manager to lead prosthesis management, clinical consumables governance, revenue assurance and supply chain optimisation across our hospital network.
This is a unique opportunity to influence strategic procurement decisions, drive reimbursement outcomes and partner with clinical leaders to ensure the availability of critical products that support exceptional patient care.
Your part in our UnitingCare team
Reporting to the General Manager Procurement & Supply, you will provide leadership across prosthesis management, supplier partnerships, inventory optimisation and revenue assurance functions. Working closely with clinicians, theatre teams, finance leaders and suppliers, you'll help deliver commercial value while supporting safe, high-quality patient care.
In this diverse role, you will:
- Lead the end-to-end prosthesis management program across UnitingCare Hospitals.
- Ensure accurate prosthesis billing, reimbursement and utilisation.
- Drive initiatives to reduce revenue leakage and maximise reimbursement outcomes.
- Manage relationships with prosthesis suppliers and rebatable clinical consumables vendors.
- Lead product evaluations, clinical trials and standardisation initiatives.
- Support commercial value improvement opportunities.
- Oversee inventory management, consignment stock programs and continuity of supply for critical products.
- Analyse utilisation, spend, reimbursement and supplier performance data to inform decision making.
- Support the development of executive dashboards and reporting to monitor key supply chain and financial performance indicators.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
What makes a difference for us?
- Significant experience in supply chain management and prosthesis management in a related healthcare environment, ideally with experience in Australian private hospitals.
- Demonstrated knowledge of prosthesis and high-value clinical consumables. management, including inventory control and supply management.
- Experience managing supplier relationships and delivering cost optimisation outcomes.
- Understanding of prosthesis billing, reimbursement, revenue assurance and procurement governance requirements.
- Strong analytical capability with experience interpreting operational and financial performance data.
- Proven ability to build effective partnerships with clinicians, finance teams, theatre teams and senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership experience developing and leading high-performing teams.

Your part in our UnitingCare team
Reporting to the General Manager Procurement & Supply, you will play a key role in developing category strategies, leading sourcing initiatives and managing strategic supplier relationships across a diverse portfolio. - Develop and implement category strategies aligned to organisational objectives.
- Analyse spend, supplier markets, risks and demand patterns to identify opportunities for value creation and cost optimisation.
- Lead sourcing projects, RFx processes, tender evaluations and commercial negotiations.
- Manage strategic supplier relationships, performance reviews and innovation initiatives.
- Negotiate contracts and monitor performance to maximise commercial value and compliance outcomes.
- Partner with operational, clinical and executive stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver procurement solutions.
- Deliver savings initiatives, monitor category performance and support budgeting processes.
- Identify and manage supply chain, supplier and market risks through proactive mitigation strategies.
- Develop category dashboards, KPI reporting and strategic recommendations for leadership teams.
- Drive continuous improvement, standardisation and procurement transformation initiatives across the organisation.
What makes a difference for us?
- Demonstrated experience in category management, strategic sourcing, procurement and contract management within a medium to large organisation.
- Proven ability to develop and implement category strategies that deliver cost savings, value creation, risk mitigation and service improvements in a related healthcare environment.
- Experience leading procurement activities including RFx processes, tender evaluations, commercial negotiations and supplier selection in private hospitals or related healthcare environment.

The Intake Practitioner is the first point of contact for all walk-in, phone-based and third-party enquiries to Gold Coast Homelessness Service. In responding to clients who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, the Intake Practitioner utilises a screening, triage and risk assessment process and provides high quality intake and assessment prior to referral to case management and/or accommodation services.
- Daily set up of the Gold Coast Homeless Hub drop-in service and follow up of any after hours enquiries via phone, email or third parties.
- Managing and responding to all enquiries by phone, email, walk-in and third parties, including QLD Homeless Information Platform (QHIP)
- Capturing required data on relevant internal spreadsheets and client management systems (SHIP, QHIP).
- Undertake screening, triage and risk assessment process with all clients seeking a housing and homelessness response, with Service Leader oversight as required.
- Provide clients with access to thorough Intake and Assessment in order to identify their strengths and needs in relation to housing barriers and housing goals.
- Manage clients who have completed Intake by providing interim support up to the point of timely allocation to a GCHS Case Worker for case management support
- Coordinate access to daily practical drop-in services including breakfast, lunch, shower and laundry facilities, phone, computer and device charging
- Build rapport and work effectively with individuals and families in crisis who present for Intake or Drop-In Access and may also be highly vulnerable
- Demonstrate strong empathy, advocacy, de-escalation and conflict resolution skills.
- Work in partnership with Regional Manager, Service Leaders and program staff to identify and assess potential risks (including child protection issues)

The Team:
The North West Regional Hospital- Intensive Care Unit are seeking dedicated and suitably experienced Critical Care Nurses to join the team and work in a Clinical Coach position.
ICU is a specialized area that requires skilled staff to care for critically unwell patients requiring organ support via ventilation, continuous renal replacement therapy and haemodynamic support. The Unit has a case mix of primarily adult patients but also cares for paediatric patients requiring ICU level support. A MET and Code Blue service is also provided to the NWRH and adjoining NWPH.
The Role:
The Clinical Coach is a senior clinical critical care nurse who combines clinical expertise with education and leadership skills to develop novice nurses in the critical care setting. The role focuses on clinical supervision, coaching, competency assessment, professional development, and promoting safe, evidence-based practice while working closely with the ICU Nurse Unit Manager and education team to build workforce capability and improve patient outcomes. The role will mainly entail an 'at the bedside educator and professional development lead' who helps transition novice and less experienced nurses into competent, confident clinicians while supporting service quality and workforce retention. Application of clinical knowledge, skills , problem solving and critical thinking will also be key to this role.

As an owner-operator, how we connect with our customers and stakeholders is critical to success. In this role, you’ll work closely with operational teams, clinicians, staff, residents, customers and partners to understand their needs, communicate clearly through the project lifecycle and translate requirements into practical, well-delivered outcomes.
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you’ll manage a broad range of capital projects from concept through to completion, including upcoming residential aged care refurbishments, sustainability and demolition projects, upgrades, and larger development works such as the Pinangba Cairns project. With approved refurbishments valued at approximately $7–10 million each and larger developments around $40 million, this role offers variety, complexity and the chance to deliver projects that genuinely support people in need.
Please note, this position is a 12-month contract with the possibility to extend. Flexibility is important to us, and we know it is to you, too - this role supports hybrid working by agreement.
Your part in our UnitingCare team:
- Manage the delivery of capital projects, including residential aged care refurbishments, upgrades, sustainability initiatives, demolition works and larger developments.
- Engage closely with customers and stakeholders to understand needs, communicate effectively and ensure projects deliver practical, fit-for-purpose outcomes in live operating environments.
- Support a portfolio predominantly across BlueCare, with the opportunity to contribute to hospital projects as required.

This is not a role focused simply on maintaining what already exists.
As Director of Clinical Services for a dual site, St Andrews War Memorial Hospital and St Andrews Day Surgery Centre, you will have the opportunity to influence the future clinical direction of St Andrew’s and lead a substantial portfolio spanning nursing, clinical operations, quality, safety, workforce capability and service development.
Working closely with the General Manager, medical specialists and the broader Executive team, you will help strengthen St Andrew’s position as a leading private hospital and build sustainable clinical services around the areas in which we can truly differentiate.
What you will lead
You will provide executive leadership across clinical services, with responsibility for creating an environment in which exceptional care, strong clinical governance and high performing operations reinforce one another.
A significant part of your mandate will be developing capable and accountable clinical leaders, strengthening workforce capability and succession, and ensuring our models of care and workforce models evolve alongside the complexity of the services we provide.
You will work in genuine partnership with our Visiting Medical Practitioners and clinical teams to improve patient flow, theatre performance and the clinician experience, while ensuring quality and patient safety remain uncompromised.
You’ll promote improvement in performance and better outcomes for patients through evidence-based care, through the monitoring and reporting of clinical and material KPI’s.
Importantly, you will also help translate strategy into execution – supporting new and expanded services, clinical innovation, education, technology and infrastructure investment, and the continued development of St Andrew’s as a hospital recognised for excellence in complex care.
What makes a difference for us?
As an accomplished clinical leader, you will present with significant recent senior leadership experience within a public or private acute environment of a comparable size and clinical complexity. Your experience has equipped you with an aptitude for people leadership, and exceptional interpersonal skills to confidently navigate challenging clinical and behavioural scenarios through to optimal outcomes.
Ideally, you have previously managed significant organisational and cultural change within a large health service, with a proven record of improving patient care and reducing clinical risk hospital-wide. You’ll demonstrate skills and experience including:
- At least 3-5+ years’ recent experience at Director of Clinical Services level (private hospital experience preferred)
- Bachelor of Nursing Degree or equivalent, with post-graduate qualifications (desirable)

We are looking for a strong leader to take ownership of and actively maximise UnitingCare’s working capital by bringing forward cash inflows and minimising bad and doubtful debts through the creation, application and optimisation of strategic credit management and advanced debt collection policies and disciplines.
The position holder will understand the holistic approach, and partner with Business Units to improve revenue recovery outcomes through the design and use of relevant and insightful data analysis and reporting and build strong internal stakeholder relationships.
Please note, this is a full-time permanent position. Flexibility is important to us, and we know it is to you, too - this role supports hybrid working at the appropriate time.
Your part in our UnitingCare team:
- Drive the strategic delivery of the Credit and Collections (C&C) function
- Provide effective performance management and compliance with relevant legislation, standards, Uniting Church and Board Policies
- Contribute to the maximisation of synergies across UnitingCare as a single integrated organisation to improve service delivery and business performance, and to promote the Church’s work in health and community services in the broader community
- Contribute to Projects as required and drive the delivery of the C&C Capabilities Roadmap
- Drive the development and implementation of strategies, policies and procedures to ensure high quality, efficient and effective credit management and advanced debt collection activities for the UnitingCare group
- Ensuring adherence to regulatory, contractual, organisational and industry standard best practice and alignment with business and customer need
- Accountable for the delivery of exceptional customer experiences
- Ensure the successful delivery of monthly close processes and cyclic activity, including reviews of financial controls, procedures and processes
- Internal and external audit activity and deliverables
What makes a difference for us?
- 10+ years Management experience with operational finance experience, including a Credit Management position in a large organisation/multi-entity environment
- Management experience in dynamic change and complex environments
- Strong leadership and proven track record to drive and deliver results
- Strong communication, reasoning, stakeholder management and customer service skills
- Ability to prepare detailed reports using ERP, Excel and reporting tools
- Intermediate to advanced level of Excel skills
- Knowledge of Dynamics D365, AX 2009, SAP, People Point, Procura, AlayaCare, MyCMS, Salesforce, Genesys, PowerBI, eForm solutions
- Desirable: Member of CAANZ/CPA, Tertiary qualifications in accounting, business or a related field, Australian Institute of Credit Management (AICM)
