Southern Adelaide Local Health Network covers the diverse population living in the southern metropolitan area of Adelaide and comprises of Flinders Medical Centre and Noarlunga hospitals.
Flinders Medical Centre (FMC) is a major referral hospital and level 1 trauma centre. It is accredited for both Emergency Medicine and Paediatric Emergency Medicine training by ACEM. The hospital is also the state's dedicated obstetric trauma centre. Our Emergency Department offers the true 'cradle to grave experience' and is the perfect place to allow for a well-rounded and well supported training experience.
The ACEM accredited Paediatric Emergency Department is co located within the main ED and is highly regarded across the state for its excellent teaching and clinical supervision provided by some of the state's best Paediatric Emergency Physicians. ACEM trainees can fulfill paediatric requirements with 3 or 6 month rotations to the PED and gain exposure to sick children throughout their general ED time.
Education and training are a key focus in our Emergency Department. We have developed EM and PEM teaching programs which are held every second Thursday, that build upon clinical learning. Simulation based learning is strongly emphasised, and we have a dedicated ED sonographer to assist with ultrasound skills development. To prepare our trainees for their future as FACEMs, we prioritise their development as leaders and decision makers. This is facilitated by a supportive and collegiate environment, flexible rostering, access to a formal mentoring program and well being initiatives such as Schwartz rounds. All trainees are entitled to a PD allowance of up to $10,000. As a result of these efforts, we have achieved high success rates in recent ACEM fellowship examinations.
We have a long standing relationship with other departments allowing for opportunities to rotate through anaesthetics and ICU to fulfil ACEM training requirements. Trainees are also encouraged to use these links to access trauma, paediatric, neonatology and statewide retrieval service rotations. Noarlunga Hospital is an outer metropolitan ED and allows trainees to complete their Non Major Referral training requirements.
With a diverse staff mix and welcoming supportive team, you'll be welcomed into the fold quickly and supported whether you move from the other side of the city or the other side of the world.
Flexible rostering is possible, including paired rosters (if moving with a friend or partner), opposing rosters (e.g. for families to allow care for children) or grouped shifts to allow a longer block of days off in a row so you make the most of your downtime.

Pay and conditions are in line with the current SA Medical Officers Enterprise Bargaining Agreement. The full contract offered to successful candidates will be of 3 years' duration, giving the trainee flexibility to continue beyond their training in our mixed adult/paediatric ED and related training rotations elsewhere in SALHN should this suit their training plans.

What You'll Be LeadingBased within the Port Lincoln Community and Allied Health Service, this part-time, long-term contract role (ending 1 September 2028) positions you as the clinical expert and network connector for stroke management across inpatient and community settings. Your core focus will include:
- Providing specialist clinical leadership and consultancy to multidisciplinary teams, EFNLHN executives, and external stakeholders on stroke best-practice standards
- Coordinating integrated care pathways - from acute assessment through to discharge planning - and building TIA clinic capacity aligned with key performance indicators

Lumus Imaging is seeking an experienced and motivated Site Lead Radiographer to play a pivotal role in establishing our brand-new Golden Grove clinic and launching our first community-based MRI service in South Australia.
This is a rare and exciting career opportunity for a senior radiographer to lead and help shape a new service from the ground up. We are particularly seeking an experienced MRI Radiographer, ideally with leadership capability, to support the successful launch and growth of this new community-based MRI service. About the RoleAs Site Lead Radiographer, you will:
- Lead and support the day-to-day operations of a new imaging clinic.
- Play a key role in the establishment and growth of Lumus Imaging's first MRI service in South Australia.
- Develop and implement site processes and protocols aligned with Lumus national standards.
- Drive quality, compliance, and audit activities at site level.
- Help shape a positive, patient-focused culture from the ground up.
- Work with advanced imaging technology including MRI, Cardiac MRI, CT, Cardiac CT, General X-ray, Bone Density and Ultrasound services.
- Collaborate closely with specialist referrers, local GPs, the community and other stakeholders located nearby.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Experience as a Senior MRI or CT Radiographer, MRI or CT Supervisor, or Manager.
- Strong leadership experience, with confidence leading and supporting a team.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.
- MRI radiography experience is preferred and will be highly regarded; however, senior CT Radiographers with proven leadership experience and a strong interest in MRI are also encouraged to apply.
- Experience in cardiac MRI and cardiac CT will be viewed favourably but is not mandatory.
- Confidence working autonomously while providing clear direction, support, and guidance to others.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of quality, compliance, and workplace health and safety practices.
- Tertiary qualifications in Medical Imaging as well as
- Certification and/or postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded.
- Current AHPRA registration and SA EPA Radiation Licence.
- Experience leading a multidisciplinary team will be viewed favourably.

Proven experience leading and coaching a team, ideally within a healthcare, retail or customer-facing environment.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to juggle competing priorities and keep daily operations running smoothly.
A genuine passion for delivering exceptional patient and customer experiences.
Confident communicator, comfortable managing escalations and building relationships across a diverse team.
Experience in dental and/or optical settings is highly regarded, but not essential if you bring strong leadership and operational skills.
