Join our Allied Health Team
Join the Rehabilitation, Aged and Palliative Care (RAP) Division at the Repat Health Precinct and make a meaningful difference to patients as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary Allied Health team. As an Allied Health Assistant, you will work alongside Allied Health Professionals to support patient care, promote independence and contribute to positive occupational and therapeutic outcomes.
About the role:
Reporting to the Allied Health Inpatient Rehabilitation Manager and working under the direction of Allied Health Professionals, the Allied Health Assistant provides patient care and therapy support to assist patients in achieving greater independence and improved outcomes.
- Providing specific therapeutic interventions and assisting with patient therapy under the direction of Allied Health Professionals.
- Assisting patients with transport, preparation, personal care, movement and physical tasks associated with therapy interventions.
- Maintaining accurate patient documentation and therapy-related databases as directed.
- Monitoring patient responses to therapy and reporting relevant information to supervising Allied Health Professionals.
About you:
- Must be eligible for or be willing to undertake a Certificate 3 in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent
- Ability to work under close supervision and direction from Allied Health Professionals
- Ability to act responsibly in an emergency situation, with an ability to competently undertake pool rescue protocol per the division's procedures
- Previous relevant experience with patient care or experience working with people of varying degrees of disability and/or backgrounds

About the role
The Operations Project Director will advise, coordinate, and deliver key strategies for the operational business of the WCHN, as well as support the required clinical service planning of services across WCHN under the direct supervision and support of the Chief Operating Officer.
Key duties of the role
- Contribute to service planning, coordination, development, and delivery to fulfil the requirements of the Service Agreement and state-wide policy and plans.
- Identify and recommend and support the implementation of current and alternative models of care.
- Manage and support the implementation of detailed project plans, schedules, and resource requirements, workforce plans, change management, business plans, and activities.
- Support the Chief Operating Officer in the development of strategies to identify population health needs, service delivery alignment, and the resourcing of clinical services.
- Contribute to the development of state-wide health strategy and policy for babies, children, and women.
Skills and Experience
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 5 years post-registration experience.
- Demonstrated experience as a senior leader or manager in the health care industry.
- Demonstrated experience in leading services or organisations through times of extensive change.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities.

This position is multi‑classed as either RN/M3 or AHP3 and the appointment classification will be determined by qualifications and experience.

The role provides advanced nursing care across a range of mental health service settings, supporting the delivery of recovery-oriented, evidence-based practice for consumers with complex needs. Practitioners at this level demonstrate development from competent to proficient practice, take accountability for their own clinical work, and are responsible for appropriate delegation and supervision of others.
Working in partnership with the Nurse Unit Manager and Associate Nurse Unit Managers, the role contributes to the leadership and coordination of nursing services within the unit. This includes supporting continuity of care, assisting with service delivery across multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to operational management functions such as staffing, rostering, recruitment, performance processes, leave management, and resource planning.

Selection Criteria
- Current registration as a Dentist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Some of the key functions of the Registered Nurse/ Midwife is to:
- The Registered Nurse – Prostate Brachytherapy Research provides clinical and research support to the prostate brachytherapy service at the St George Hospital Cancer Care Centre. The role is responsible for coordinating the collection of clinical and treatment-related information from patients undergoing prostate brachytherapy, including demographic, treatment and toxicity data obtained during initial consultation and follow-up visits.
- The position supports the development and maintenance of a prostate brachytherapy clinical database by ensuring accurate, timely and complete data capture in accordance with approved research protocols, governance requirements and local policies.
- Working within a multidisciplinary team that includes radiation oncologists, urologists, medical physicists and nursing staff, the role facilitates high-quality clinical data collection to support clinical research, service evaluation and quality improvement initiatives within the prostate brachytherapy program.
- The Registered Nurse – Prostate Brachytherapy Research conducts patient interactions in outpatient clinic settings, administers validated questionnaires, performs toxicity grading where appropriate, and ensures clinical information is accurately recorded and entered into the prostate brachytherapy REDCap database.

The RSS is a directorate of the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network, that delivers a range of enabling services, such as workforce planning and recruitment, digital health, finance, infrastructure, procurement, and clinical governance support. Our purpose is to strengthen and sustain healthcare delivery in rural and regional areas by providing consistent, efficient, and specialist support functions to the six regional local health networks (LHNs) across South Australia. We work across 37 regional, rural and remote SA locations, as well as 3 Adelaide offices.

Flinders Medical Centre is looking for an experienced scrub/scout nurse unit manager ready to step into a leadership role at one of South Australia's premier tertiary surgical services. About the role:
Reporting to the Nursing Director, as Nurse Unit Manager you will lead the scrub/scout nursing team at Flinders Medical Centre, overseeing clinical practice, rostering, and quality improvement across a high-acuity perioperative environment.
Duties for the role will include:
- Ensure that service provision and the activities of the Division / Unit / Ward / Service are person and family centred and professionally and effectively conducted by contributing to the development of an integrated team approach and culture which is highly responsive to the needs of our consumers,
- Integrate contemporary information and evidence with personal experience to support the decision making, innovative thinking and objective analysis that are expected at this level. e.g. Expert Clinical knowledge underpins and informs their ability to support and lead clinical services and management activities that contribute to improve and optimise nursing/midwifery care,
- Use available information systems: to inform decision making, to implement and co-ordinate processes for quality improvement, to monitor and analyse incidents and accidents, to ensure quality and safety is not compromised, to evaluate outcomes and convey information to staff,
- Contribute to the development of, implementation of, and monitoring of corporate policies and processes and lead in their area of expertise
About you:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate,
- Effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills,
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team,

Administration Research Assistant | Orthopaedic Surgery
Based in the Orthopaedic Surgery unit across Flinders Medical Centre and Noarlunga Hospital, this full-time contract role sits at the intersection of clinical administration and applied research within the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network. You'll provide hands-on administrative and research support to a team of academic and professional staff, keeping projects on track and the day-to-day running smoothly.
About the role:
Reporting to the Head of Unit, your role will include providing quality administrative and research support to the Academic and Professional Staff in Orthopaedic Surgery. Duties will include:
- May be required to have indirect client / patient contact when involved in research trials of orthopaedic devices,
- Use of appropriate communication methods while maintaining confidentiality at all times,
- Deliver a wide range of administrative and assistance to the academic staff in Orthopaedic Surgery,
- Contribute to the effective administration, preparation and management of pre-study documents, submissions and compliance,
- Develop and maintain professional, effective and collaborative working relationships between all relevant work units and team members, to support the efficient delivery of services,
- Assisting with co-ordination and administration of medical student placements,
- Liaise with the University with regards to student requirements and dissemination of information
About you:
- Secretarial qualifications or equivalent, or a level of experience working in an administrative or project support position,
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills both oral and written,
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and external stakeholders,
- Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality customer service in an administrative environment,
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and flexibly under general direction, independently and as a team member
- Experience in a busy working environment, showing interpersonal skills and ability to manage conflict

Support at Home Care - Care that keeps people independent at home
As a Support at Home Care Partner Enrolled Nurse, you'll play a vital role in supporting older people to remain safe, independent and well in their own homes. Working under the direction of a Registered Nurse Clinical Care Partner, you will deliver person-centred nursing care aligned with clinical standards, regulatory requirements and best practice in community aged care.
This role blends clinical nursing with meaningful community connection - supporting clients, their carers, and a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible health and well being outcomes.
About You
- You are an Enrolled Nurse registered with AHPRA and hold a current practising certificate, bringing a minimum of three years' experience in nursing, ideally within aged care or community settings.
- You are confident in delivering person-centred care, prioritising workloads, and recognising and escalating changes in a client's condition. Your communication skills are strong, and you work effectively within a team environment while treating older people and their carers with empathy, dignity and respect.
- You bring a calm, organised and responsible approach to your work, with a genuine commitment to supporting independence and positive health outcomes at home.
