Full Time | Permanent
Epworth at Home is seeking experienced Registered Nurses ready to step into a leadership role, or an established ANUM looking for a new challenge. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team delivering exceptional patient-centred care in the home environment.
As the Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM), you will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to support the operational management, clinical leadership and ongoing development of the service. You will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of safe, timely and evidence-based care while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation and excellence.
In this role, you will:
- Lead by example, setting and maintaining high clinical standards.
- Support and develop a high-performing, patient-focused nursing team.
- Coordinate safe, effective and efficient patient care across the Epworth at Home service.
- Collaborate with hospitals, specialists, GPs, rehabilitation services and multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes.
- Assist in managing staffing, resources and operational performance.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and innovation in service delivery.
- Support the NUM in maintaining a safe and positive clinical environment for patients, visitors and staff.
- Actively build strong relationships with medical staff and key stakeholders.
- Assume the responsibilities of the Nurse Unit Manager during periods of leave or absence.
This opportunity is ideally suited to an experienced acute care nurse with Hospital in the Home (HITH) experience who is looking to further develop their leadership capability. Experience in chemotherapy nursing will be highly regarded, given the complexity and diversity of patients supported through the Epworth at Home service.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant specialty area.
- Minimum 3-5 years' acute hospital nursing experience.
- Previous Hospital in the Home (HITH) experience is essential.
- Chemotherapy administration and patient management experience is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, either as an existing ANUM or as an experienced clinician ready to step into a leadership role.
- Well-developed interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Nurse Unit Manager and peers to support service delivery and team performance.
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous improvement and innovation in models of care.
- Strong organisational, clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and ACHS Accreditation Standards.

The annual salary for a full time Associate Nurse Unit Manager – AUD $120,595 - $124,661 + super + entitlements depending on registration type, year level and position (prorated for part-time)

About the opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and strategically focused National Precinct Maintenance Manager to join Mercy Health's Healthy Ageing division in this newly created national leadership role. Reporting to the National Maintenance Manager and based at our Head Office in North Richmond, VIC, you will provide oversight of maintenance operations, asset management, compliance and capital works across a portfolio of Residential Aged Care and Seniors Living precincts across Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia.
This role presents a unique opportunity to establish consistency, drive best practices and influence the future direction of maintenance and facilities management across our national portfolio. Working closely with Precinct Managers, Regional Managers and corporate stakeholders, you will have functional oversight of a geographically dispersed team while ensuring our homes and communities remain safe, compliant, welcoming and fit for purpose for residents, clients, visitors and employees.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs, overseeing assets and capital works, managing contractor performance, ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
You will spend time on-site partnering with Precinct Managers, reviewing operational performance, supporting capital works projects, conducting asset and compliance inspections, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Travel is expected to form a regular and meaningful component of the role, with approximately 30-40% of time spent visiting Mercy Health locations across the country.
With regular interstate travel, this role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational oversight, making it ideal for an experienced facilities, asset or maintenance leader who enjoys building capability, influencing outcomes and delivering tangible improvements across a complex multi-site environment.
You will have:
Proven leadership capability with the ability to inspire, coach and develop teams across multiple locations
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels
Demonstrated experience leading maintenance, facilities or asset management operations in a complex, geographically dispersed multi-site environment
Sound understanding of building services, preventative maintenance programs, asset lifecycle management and capital works delivery
Strong commercial acumen, including budget management, contractor performance management and procurement oversight
Excellent problem-solving, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks, including workplace health and safety, building compliance and essential safety measures
Experience implementing process improvements, performance reporting and operational efficiencies
High level communication skills, including the ability to provide clear reporting and recommendations to senior stakeholders
A collaborative, customer-focused approach aligned to Mercy Health's values
What you’ll bring:
A trade qualification in electrical, plumbing, mechanical, building services or a related discipline, and/or tertiary qualifications in Facilities Management, Engineering, Asset Management or a related field
Significant experience leading facilities, property, asset or maintenance functions across geographically dispersed sites
Experience within aged care, healthcare, retirement living, property or similar highly regulated environment
Demonstrated knowledge of building codes, essential safety measures, fire safety and workplace health and safety requirements
Proven experience managing contractors, service providers and maintenance budgets
Experience developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs, asset replacement strategies and capital works plans
Strong understanding of compliance obligations relating to facilities and the built environment
Experience working across geographically dispersed operations and leading remote teams
A commitment to delivering safe, high-quality environments that support positive outcomes for residents and communities
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

A current driver's licence and willingness to undertake regular interstate travel across VIC, QLD and WA

StandBy - Support After Suicide provides support to anyone bereaved or impacted by a death by suicide, including individuals, families, witnesses, first responders, workplaces and community groups.
StandBy offers free face-to-face and/or telephone support, and fully funded education and training to build community awareness and resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing trauma informed, non-clinical support to a client bereaved by a death by suicide
- Participating in the delivery of workshops and training, and community events on issues related to suicide bereavement and the StandBy Service
- Record all necessary data and client case notes in accordance with StandBy policies and procedures
- Assist with planning the activities of the StandBy team and perform other duties as required by the Service Leader
As this rewarding role is in a specialist area, you will be provided with guidance and training through debriefing, external supervision, team meetings and professional development opportunities.
What makes a difference for us?
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated knowledge, practical experience and skill in critical incident response/psychological first aid
- Understanding of grief and bereavement through a trauma informed lens
- Demonstrated well-developed interpersonal, communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated awareness of reflective practice and self-care
- Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is desirable, however will be provided to successful applicant

About the role
As HammondCare’s Senior Digital Business Analyst (Automation), you’ll be responsible for identifying, assessing and shaping opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual effort and improve operational outcomes through automation, AI and digital solutions.

About You

- Business Analysis certification (CBAP, CCBA, Agile BA or equivalent).

- Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, AI-powered workflow tools or similar automation platforms.

Key Responsibilities include

About You

About the opportunity
Our programs are designed to support whilst making the transition from student to Registered Midwife within a supportive and welcoming environment. The aim is to promote educational opportunities to graduates as you consolidate your theoretical and clinical skills. This is a structured program with a comprehensive orientation, paid professional development days, and debriefing sessions which are supported by a dedicated learning team.
Upon successful completion of the program, you will be presented with a certificate of completion.

To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
- A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
- The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
All applications must include the following documents:
- Letter of application stating preferred hospital location, areas of clinical interest, preferred rotations, rationale for choice and future career plans
- Two page Curriculum vitae, relevant experience and clinical rotations
- Certified copy of academic transcripts to date (including ‘key to results’)
- Two recent and certified acute summative clinical appraisals
- Two Clinical References

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- Registration as a Midwife with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
