About the Role
The Accounts Payable Officer team member is responsible for ensuring all invoices, including supplier and internal department claims, are processed accurately in accordance with policies and procedures, ensuring payments are made in a timely manner. The position is also responsible for processing a range of other transaction including payment cards, and performing reconciliations, where required as directed by Monash Health policies and procedures. The position takes responsibility for creditor accounts which comprise of invoices and payment requests and settling the accounts within the specified terms, as directed by Monash Health policy. Key result areas:

Act as a point of contact for all payment enquiries.

Liaise with Procurement, Pharmacy, Engineering, Health Technology and Capital Works Project and all other purchasing staff regarding purchases and payments.

Maintain and develop productive, professional and courteous business relationships with suppliers, contractors and other relevant external organisations to Monash Health.
About You

Multiple Opportunities (full-time OR part-time)
At Monash Health, we provide critical care across the lifespan to communities throughout Victoria's South East, supported by advanced technology, a complex case mix and some of the most skilled ICU clinicians in the state.
As our critical care services continue to grow, we are seeking Adminstration Officers/Ward Clerks to join our highly regarded ICU Unit on an 18-month fixed-term contract.
About the role
In this key administrative role, you will provide reception and clerical support within the ward, helping to ensure efficient patient flow and accurate management of patient information.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing patient admissions, transfers and discharges
- Maintaining accurate patient records and data entry
- Providing reception and telephone support
- Assisting with ward administration and coordination activities
- Supporting the multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care
About You
You are an organised and customer-focused administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding service.
You'll bring:
- Previous administrative or clerical experience, ideally in healthcare
- Strong computer, organisational and data entry skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively within a team
- A commitment to confidentiality, accuracy and professionalism
- Experience with patient administration systems and medical terminology (desirable)
Shifts range from Monday to Sunday, from 8am - 4:30pm. Please state your preference for full-time or part-time, along with your preferred days, in your cover letter.

About the Role
Reporting to the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, the Senior Finance Analyst leads the insights function within the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. The role supports the coordination of budget, forecasting and month-end processes, and contributes to internal executive and Board reporting, as well as statutory government reporting to the Department of Health. Core responsibilities include:
- Serve as the key link between the central FP&A team and Finance Business Partners.
- Support enriched data analysis, reporting and performance insights across Monash Health.
- Contribute to ongoing improvement of FP&A tools, processes and system roadmaps.
- As a key member of the FP&A team, the Senior Finance Analyst will provide leadership in achieving and upholding Monash Health’s vision, purpose and values.
Systems Optimisation and Transformation
As part of Monash Health’s broader transformation program, significant investment has been made in enabling systems, including Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), SAP SuccessFactors HCM and Payroll, and Oracle Fusion ERP. Following implementation and stabilisation, the focus is now on optimising system capability and realising the benefits of modern cloud-based platforms.
Insights, Reporting and Stakeholder Support
The role will help transition FP&A from a transactional reporting focus to a more transformational function, using enhanced data and system capability to understand performance drivers, identify trends and issues, and explain the “why” behind financial results. It will work closely with system owners and stakeholders to develop reporting tools, improve analysis and generate actionable insights that support business strategy across Monash Health.
About You
Qualifications, registrations and licences:
- Membership of professional qualification (CA/CPA)
Technical skills, knowledge and experience:
- 5 + years’ experience in a financial role in a large complex organisation
- Exposure to large Enterprise Resource systems such as SAP, Oracle, Technology One

About You

About the Role
An opportunity currently exists for an experienced Grade 2 Social Worker to join our team on a fixed term basis due to parental leave cover. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Enrolled Nurses and Registered Nurses to join our Day Surgery Unit on casual basis. The unit operates Monday to Friday between 6:30 AM and 9:00 PM, with staggered shifts scheduled across these hours to support operational needs.
Our Day Surgery Unit features 25 bays and on average sees around 80 cases per day , providing a fast-paced and dynamic environment. We are looking for nurses who are adaptable, team-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
Previous experience in day surgery is preferred, and exposure to paediatric patients or cath-lab nursing will be highly regarded. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and professional team, making a difference in patients’ lives every day.
As a Registered/Enrolled Nurse you’ll cater to the pre & post-operative journey of our surgical patients, with exposure to a range of specialities including General Surgery, Urology, Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Dental, Plastics, ENT (involving a large number of Paediatrics) and Vascular. In addition, our Day Surgery Unit also accommodates pre & post-operative Cardiac Cath Lab patients, largely focusing on diagnostic angiograms.
The Position
Assesses plans, delivers and evaluates patient care, seeking support from senior staff as required.
Promotes and contributes to effective communication, facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the department and within the hospital.
Provides patient education and acts as a resource where appropriate.
Supports and supervises staff and students as required, including orientating and precepting staff.
Contributes to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives.
Participate in patient assessments, including mental health, risk assessment and management, history taking and developing comprehensive nursing care plans. Ensuring risks are documented and appropriate interventions, referrals are facilitated.
Administer medication within scope of the Enrolled Nurse classification and in accordance with statutory and organisational guidelines under the direct or indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse.
Advise and educate patients regarding treatment and recovery in relevant specialty.
You will have a registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse and demonstrate a minimum of 2 years clinical experience Day Surgery. You will demonstrate a commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.

St Vincent’s Pathology is a private practice offering diagnostic testing to both inpatients of St Vincent’s Private Hospitals located in Fitzroy, East Melbourne and Kew, St Vincent’s Public Hospital Fitzroy as well as servicing privately referred patients in up to 80 Pathology Collection centres located across Metropolitan Melbourne.

About the Role
As a Care Coordinator you will manage a case load of clients and undertake comprehensive assessments, care planning, work with clients to achieve their goals and exit from the program with long term supports in place. As an Occupational Therapist you will provide high, quality, evidence based assessment, intervention, education and management, supporting clients to remain as independent as possible. Clinical service delivery is undertaken in the clients’ own home and their local community.
Direct clinical provision of high quality and evidence-based Occupational Therapy specific assessment, intervention, education and management.
Undertake holistic comprehensive assessments, collaborative care planning and facilitation of clients generated goals using motivational interviewing and self-management approaches.
Monitor goal achievement and health outcomes and plan for the transition and exit from the program, ensuring appropriate long term community supports are in place.
Provide guidance support and direction to Allied Health Assistants

About Complex Care and Chronic Disease
This position will be part of the HIP Complex Care and Chronic Disease Service (CC/CD) under the Health Independence Program. About the Role
The Haematology Clinical Research Centre is seeking a Specimen Shipment Laboratory Assistant to support the management, documentation and shipment of biological specimens associated with haematology clinical research.
Working under the guidance of the Unit Manager, you will coordinate the preparation and shipment of laboratory samples to local and international sponsors, ensuring specimens are handled, documented and dispatched safely and within study-specific requirements. You will play an important role in supporting the efficient operation of the Haematology Clinical Research Centre through accurate specimen tracking, database management, courier coordination and adherence to clinical trial laboratory manuals and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and adhere to clinical trial laboratory manuals and study-specific instructions for the shipment of biological specimens.
Prepare and check shipping documentation, including airway bills, customs documentation, specimen manifests, proformas and other study-specific documentation.
Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate tracking and identification records for specimens leaving the laboratory.
Coordinate daily courier bookings for specimens being shipped from the Haematology Clinical Research Centre.
Collect processed samples from St Vincent's Pathology and ensure they are safely packed and prepared for shipment to local and international laboratories.
Coordinate the preparation and dispatch of shipments according to study-specific schedules, ensuring time-sensitive specimens are sent within required timeframes.
Enter and maintain accurate data in clinical trial databases, disease registries and other research databases.
Assist with the identification, documentation and escalation of specimen shipment deviations, errors, near misses and incidents in accordance with departmental procedures.
Assist with the development, review and implementation of specimen shipment procedures, checklists, templates and other operational documentation.
Complete mandatory hospital training and study-specific training relating to specimen handling, processing and shipment.
Work collaboratively with Clinical Trial Coordinators, Clinical Research Nurses, laboratory staff, investigators and other members of the multidisciplinary research team.
Contribute to the efficient and safe operation of the Haematology Clinical Research Centre.

Your Contribution
To be successful in this role, you will be an organised and detail-focused professional with the ability to manage competing priorities and follow established procedures in a clinical research environment.
You will bring:
A Bachelor of Science, or previous relevant experience working in a hospital, pathology, laboratory, clinical research or healthcare environment.
Completion of IATA Dangerous Goods training.
Completion of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training.
The ability to accurately follow written procedures, protocols, laboratory manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and study-specific instructions.
Highly developed organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate documentation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
Computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
A commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
A current National Criminal History Check, or willingness to obtain one.

About the Haematology Clinical Research Centre
The Haematology Clinical Research Centre (HCRC) at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne provides coordination and care to patients participating in haematology clinical trials. Clinical treatment is delivered across the outpatient Cancer Centre Chemotherapy Day Unit and inpatient services. The HCRC works closely with haematologists, nurses, pharmacists, laboratory staff, investigators and other multidisciplinary teams to support the delivery of high-quality clinical research and patient care.
