About the Role
Under the direct supervision of the Consultant, the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NPP) is required to provide clinical care for infants under the care of Monash Newborn, delivering the highest standard of care to infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) Special Care Nursery (SCN) and postnatal wards. The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner role is pivotal within Monash Newborn to support standardisation of practice across the medical and nursing teams, contribution to research and quality improvement and provide neonatal expertise.
- Patient assessment and care co-ordination and support
- Gain experience in medical and surgical neonatal care, build clinical decision making skills, and provide leadership, teaching and support to the Nursing and Medical team
- NNP will work on a rotating roster that provides experience in the NICU, SCN, Postnatal Wards and Outpatient areas
- Role modelling and staff engagement through ongoing communication within the team
About Us
Across 3 sites of Monash Health, Monash Newborn provides neonatal services to support over 9,000 births a year and is responsible for the provision of neonatal services for Monash Health within the Monash Children’s Hospital Clayton, Dandenong and Casey campuses, functioning together as a single integrated service with a hierarchy of complexity. About 4,500 babies are born each year at Clayton to a selected high-risk maternity population, while lower risk mothers are managed at Dandenong and Casey Hospitals, which have about 2,500 births at each site each year respectively.
The neonatal nursery in Monash Children’s Hospital has a combined neonatal intensive care and special care capacity of 64 cots. Supported by a comprehensive range of paediatric specialty services at Monash Children’s, the neonatal service is able to provide the full range of medical and surgical care of the newborn with the exception only of ECMO and cardiac surgery.
Monash Newborn’s neonatal nurseries on the Dandenong and Casey campuses currently have a total of 3 beds and 20 beds respectively.
About You
We currently have an opportunity for a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner candidate to join our team at Monash Newborn at our Clayton Campus, Monash Childern's Hospital. With your passion towards neonates and your caring and engaging manner, you will play a pivotal role in Patient and family centred care. Using your excellent communication skills, you will work closely with a varied team of Health professionals across Monash Health with the sole purpose of delivering exceptional critical care at all times. You have:
- Outstanding communication, stakeholder engagement and problem resolution skills
- Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively consult to deliver outcomes
- Flexibility to work across a 24/7 roster
- Ideally leadership and management experience in Neonatal Nursing
- Proactive in supporting colleagues at all levels as well as mentoring others
To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge:
Candidate:
- A minimum of 5 years’ clinical experience working in a neonatal unit
- A post graduate certificate (or equivalent) in neonatal nursing
- A commitment to undertake the Masters of Advanced Nursing Practice (Nurse Practitioner) in February 2027.

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Product Lead to help shape and deliver the next phase of the Medicare Mental Health Check In (MMHCI) Program within St Vincent's Care at Home.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the evolution of a digitally enabled model of mental health care, improving how people access, engage with and experience support. You'll develop the product strategy and roadmap, using consumer, clinician, service, policy and commercial insights to drive measurable improvements in access, demand, clinical value and operational performance.
This is an end-to-end product leadership role extending beyond the technology platform. You'll work across service design, digital experience, clinical models, operations, partnerships, data and go-to-market activities to ensure MMHCI responds to priority consumer and system needs.
This is a full-time, 24-month initial term opportunity based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
What You'll Do
Own and evolve the product vision, strategy and value proposition for the next phase of MMHCI
Translate strategic priorities into a clear, evidence-based product roadmap with defined outcomes and measures of success
Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from hypothesis and business case through design, build, launch, adoption and optimisation
Use consumer, clinician and stakeholder insights to improve awareness, access, onboarding, engagement, treatment outcomes and continuity of care
Lead continuous discovery with help seekers, carers, practitioners and healthcare professionals, including underserved and priority populations
Partner with clinical, operational, technology and design teams to define problems and deliver effective solutions
Work with Growth and Communications to strengthen market propositions, referral pathways, launch plans and adoption
Lead product governance and prioritisation, balancing competing opportunities, dependencies and investment decisions
Build an integrated view of product performance across consumer, clinical, operational, financial and digital measures

About You

You will be responsible for the delivery of expert clinical care of patients undertaking a dialysis home therapy
Ensure safe, effective and individualised treatment plans are implemented and maintained
Educate patients, families and healthcare staff on both Peritoneal Dialysis and haemodialysis

The SVHM Dialysis service provides both Peritoneal Dialysis and Haemodialysis, catering to a diverse range of patient needs, including satellite and home-based dialysis as well as nocturnal haemodialysis. On-site dialysis is available at St. Vincent’s Fitzroy, St Vincents on the Park, East Melbourne and St. George’s Hospital, Kew for patients with acute and chronic renal failure. The Dialysis Unit fosters ongoing professional development and promotes clinical nursing excellence within a cohesive and flexible team environment.

We are seeking applications for a Psychologist or Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (grade 2) to join our Mental Wellbeing Service on a permanent part-time basis in Ballarat, Victoria.
The Grade 2 clinician is a member of a multi-disciplinary team that provides evidenced-based, person centred, trauma informed mental health care to the clients of St John of God Health Care (SJGHC) Mental Wellbeing Service.
You will be responsible for the assessment and treatment planning of an individual client caseload, including thorough risk assessments. You will also be working as part of a multidisciplinary team. Our program is also open to the development and implementation innovative group programs for our client group. Our consumer group include those with mild to moderate mental health conditions.
All applicants must be eligible for a Medicare Provider Number to enable access to the Better Access to Mental Health Scheme.
The Position
Provides advanced level psychological services including a range of individualised and group clinical care based on professional training reflecting current ethical clinical practice as required.
Provides comprehensive assessment and care planning monitoring consumer progress adjusting treatment accordingly for complex management.
Liaise with multi-disciplinary team to promote effective communication and treatment planning.
Familiar and complies with legal, ethical responsibilities to consumers, visitors and staff, inclusive of maintaining confidentiality.
You will have experience providing group programs and individual therapy to adult consumers presenting with a myriad of concerns, demonstrate clinical leadership skills and ability to undertake quality improvement activities.
Successful applicants will have tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Social Work and current registration with the Psychology Board of Australia or AASW. Experience running groups and providing individual therapy using CBT, DBT and Schema-Focused Therapy will be highly regarded.

Key responsibilities

Your skills and experience

Duties include
Lead and coordinate the delivery of physiotherapy services across Berengarra, Prague House and Auburn House

Your Contribution
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Current registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA, or eligibility for registration
A minimum of seven years’ post-graduate physiotherapy experience
Broad experience and demonstrated knowledge of physiotherapy management within Residential Aged Care
Demonstrated leadership skills and extensive experience in the supervision and professional development of physiotherapists, students and support staff
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
A relevant post-graduate qualification in physiotherapy, or current progress towards one, would be highly regarded

Position Summary
The Grade 3 Physiotherapist is responsible for providing high-quality, person-centred and evidence-based physiotherapy services across St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne’s three Residential Aged Care homes: Berengarra in Kew, Prague House in Kew and Auburn House in Hawthorn East. These services support residents with a diverse range of care needs, including general residential aged care, aged persons’ mental health and residents with a history of homelessness. Working closely with Residential Aged Care leadership and the broader multidisciplinary team, the Grade 3 Physiotherapist provides clinical leadership to promote best practice and support optimal health, wellbeing, function and quality of life for residents.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing comprehensive physiotherapy assessment, treatment and clinical management for residents
Ensuring physiotherapy care is person-centred, evidence-based and aligned with the Aged Care Quality Standards
Providing clinical leadership and supporting the coordination and management of physiotherapy services within Residential Aged Care
Supervising and supporting junior physiotherapists, physiotherapy students and other team members

Essential Requirements
Physiotherapy degree and current AHPRA registration
Recent experience and demonstrated knowledge of physiotherapy management within a Residential Aged Care setting

Experience in, or willingness to develop skills in, clinical teaching and supervision
Sound understanding of relevant aged care legislation, principles of aged care and the Aged Care Quality Standards
Strong written and verbal communication skills

NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain one.

About the Role
As a Registered Nurse within our Rehabilitation and GEM unit, Ward D, you will play a crucial role in the care and support of our aged and rehabilitation patients. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to our patients. At Casey Hospital, Ward D is a 27 bed Rehabilitation and Geriatric Medicine Ward, with a reputation for delivering outstanding patient centred care.
We are located on the ground floor at Casey Hospital. We work closely as a multidisciplinary team which includes allied health and medical teams to support patients to return home, go into aged care or supported disability accommodation. Common patient admissions include but not limited to:
- Stroke
- Fractures post falls
- Functional decline
- Reconditioning post CA diagnosis / treatment
- Rehabilitation post-surgery e.g. craniotomy, hip and knee replacements, abdominal resections, amputations
- Delirium
- Rehabilitation post procedures: Tracheostomy/ Laryngectomy

About the Role
An opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Perioperative Liaison Nurse to join Monash Health's Elective Surgery Services (ESS) team on a Full Time Ongoing basis. This is a Monday – Friday role, typically 8:00am – 4:30pm, however is rostered according to operational requirements.
This role is central to delivering a contemporary elective surgery model of care, acting as the single point of contact for patients throughout their surgical journey. Working closely with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams, you will coordinate and optimise patients for elective surgery, ensuring they are clinically prepared, appropriately scheduled and supported from referral through to the day of surgery.
You will play a key role in improving the patient experience, reducing day-of-surgery cancellations, managing elective surgery waitlists in accordance with the Elective Surgery Access Policy (ESAP), and supporting the efficient utilisation of theatre capacity across Monash Health. The role also involves travel across Monash Health campuses based on service requirements.
In This Role You Will
- Assess patient readiness for surgery and coordinate optimisation where required.
- Develop individualised care pathways for patients with complex health needs.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists, allied health and community providers to facilitate timely and safe surgical care.
- Provide education and support to patients and families before surgery.
- Manage elective surgery waitlists and contribute to reducing delays and day-of-surgery cancellations.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient experience and support ESAP compliance.
About You
You are an experienced perioperative or surgical nurse who enjoys coordinating care, building relationships and improving patient outcomes. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are passionate about delivering person-centred care while navigating complex patient journeys.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA, essential
- A minimum of five years' surgical nursing experience, essential
- Demonstrated experience working in a leadership or care coordination capacity, essential
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to manage complex patient pathways.
- Highly developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Our ICU Transition to Speciality Practice (TSP) Program offers Registered Nurses a supported entry into critical care, delivering structured learning, hands-on experience and a clear pathway toward postgraduate studies in Critical Care Nursing.
About the ICU's
Our Intensive Care Units are at the forefront of critical care, catering to a diverse range of patients and medical specializations.
- Monash Medical Centre, Clayton – Adult ICU
A 27 bed tertiary referral unit specialising in Neurosurgery, Neurology, Obstetrics, General Medicine and Surgery, with over 1,900 admissions annually. - Dandenong Hospital – ICU
A 14 bed unit caring for patients across Colorectal, General Surgery, ENT, Orthopaedics, Plastics, Vascular and General Medicine specialties. - Casey Hospital – ICU
A 12 bed Medical/Surgical unit specialising in Urology, Obstetrics and post operative care. - Victorian Heart Hospital – Intensive Cardiac Care Unit
A newly built, state-of-the-art 16-bed unit delivering advanced cardiothoracic care, including a nurse led ECMO service for complex cardiac patients.
About the Role
The ICU TSP Program is a structured, supported transition designed for Registered Nurses with acute care experience who are ready to develop their skills in intensive care.
These part-time (0.84 EFT), fixed-term (6 months) positions commence in February 2027 and are designed to prepare participants for further postgraduate study in critical care.
The program includes:
- Supported clinical shifts within the ICU
- Tutorials and structured learning

About Monash Health Pathology Service
Alfred Health and Monash Health have established a formal partnership to deliver a Shared Pathology Service as one of three new pathology networks for metropolitan Melbourne. All roles in the Pathology Programs are working to develop the Partnership and ensure we continue to provide high quality care for the patients across the health services.
Monash Health Pathology is an integral part of Monash Health. It is the largest public provider of Pathology services in the state and currently operates 6 laboratories. Now Recruiting - Victorian Cancer Biobank: Monash Heath Node Coordinator (1-Year Fixed-Term, 1.0 EFT)
Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Tissue Bank, including the supervision of the collection, processing, storage, retrieval, preparation and distribution of human biological specimens submitted to the Tissue Bank. The role will involve managing employees and liaising with physicians, surgeons, pathologists, ward and theatre nursing staff, medical laboratory scientists, biobank staff across the consortium, and researchers. The successful applicant will be required to travel to affiliated sites, including other institutions, as needed. The incumbent will also be responsible for obtaining and maintaining ethical approval for the establishment and ongoing operation of Tissue Bank procurement sites.

About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Grade 1 Scientist to join the Cardiothoracic and Surgical Oncology Research team at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne. In this role, you will support and coordinate clinical research activities across Cardiothoracic and Surgical Oncology, with opportunities to contribute to research across Breast, Plastics and Urology. Working closely with investigators, clinicians, research staff, patients, sponsors and regulatory bodies, you will support the delivery of clinical trials from patient screening and recruitment through to ongoing trial participation, data collection and study documentation. You will ensure research activities are conducted in accordance with approved study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ethical and regulatory requirements, while maintaining high standards of patient safety, confidentiality and data integrity. Your Responsibilities
You will:
Support the coordination and day-to-day conduct of clinical trials across Cardiothoracic and Surgical Oncology
Assist with patient screening, recruitment, informed consent and ongoing trial participation
Maintain accurate and timely patient, trial, laboratory and regulatory documentation
Coordinate the collection, processing and management of research specimens and study data
Prepare and manage ethics and governance submissions, amendments and associated documentation
Liaise with patients, investigators, sponsors, Human Research Ethics Committees (HREC), Governance and other internal and external stakeholders
Support safety reporting and ensure trial activities comply with approved protocols, GCP and relevant ethical and regulatory requirements
Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure the integrity and quality of clinical research data
Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to support safe, high-quality clinical research
Your Contribution
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:
A relevant tertiary qualification in Science, Health Science or a related discipline
An interest in, or experience within, clinical research or clinical trials
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate documentation and manage competing priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with patients, clinicians, researchers and external stakeholders
An understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and clinical research governance requirements, or a willingness to develop this knowledge
A current National Criminal History Check, or willingness to obtain one

About the role
Highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurses (RN) with a minimum 18-month post registration acute ward experience, who are interested in a career in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for our exciting ‘Transition to ICU’ (TIC) Program
12 month program to support your transition into ICU and fast track your development. ICU orientation and education, followed by 2 week supernumerary and 4 weeks preceptorship.
Program consists of 2 x 6 month rotations between cardiothoracic/transplant and general/neuro/trauma ICU specialties, together with ongoing employment at the program completion.
Supported simultaneously to complete the NSW ICU Transition to Specialty Practice Program (TTSP) over the initial 12 months of employment.
Requires a commitment to complete the associated capability assessments within the program period which is equivalent to our ICU's Novice and Advanced Beginner Level 1A skills and competencies.
Successful candidates will need to be available to commence on Monday 2nd November 2026.
About you
Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency.
Minimum of 18 months post registration acute ward experience as a registered nurse.
Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in your daily practice.
Demonstrated ability to work within the interdisciplinary team using effective communication and interpersonal skills.
