Epworth Geelong is seeking to appoint an experienced Grade 1 or 2 Social workerto provide comprehensive social work services on a casual basis.
This role is ideally suited to a clinician with hospital experience, strong discharge planning skills, and a sound understanding of the Victorian aged care sector, including My Aged Care.
You will work in an energetic and cohesive clinical team that strives for excellence in patient care. The social work department offers a high level of clinical support and supervision, as well as a strong commitment to professional development activities and quality projects. Clinical responsibilities will include undertaking comprehensive psychosocial assessments, family work, outpatient work, and discharge planning as well as involvement in student supervision.
You will make an impact by:
- Undertaking comprehensive psychosocial assessments and complex discharge planning
- Striving for patient and family inclusive practice in all stages of care
- Engaging positively with all other colleagues to achieve best clinical outcomes
- Supervising students
- Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic clinical environment
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Extensive skills, enthusiasm and commitment to your work and embrace the opportunity to contribute to the positive culture at Epworth HealthCare
- A minimum of three years of relevant social work experience in a hospital, rehabilitation or other healthcare setting
- Clinical experience and/or knowledge in the area of brain injury and trauma rehabilitation would be highly regarded
- Well-developed expertise in assessment, intervention and discharge planning for a complex patient cohort

The Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) Surveillance Program is a specialised research and surveillance team within Monash Health that conducts active hospital-based surveillance of serious infectious diseases and adverse events following immunisation across paediatric and adult populations.Â
Working collaboratively with infectious diseases clinicians, research nurses, researchers and external stakeholders, the team supports the collection, management and analysis of high-quality data to inform public health responses and contribute to nationally significant research initiatives. Conditions under surveillance include COVID-19, RSV, influenza, invasive meningococcal disease, myocarditis, encephalitis, polio and other vaccine-preventable diseases.Â
About the RoleÂ
Join our team as a Research Assistant on a casual (0.4-0.6 FTE), 12-month contract within the VPD Surveillance team at Monash Health, Clayton. In this role, you will be guided by the VPD Surveillance Manager and work closely with infectious diseases consultants, research nurses, fellows and the broader research team. About the Role
An opportunity to join a clinic focused on myeloid related diseases at the Cranbourne Community Hospital. This is one of two dedicated myeloid clinics in the service, treating high acuity patients with access to a cutting-edge clinical trial portfolio. The primary function of this role to participate on a weekly basis in the clinic on Monday afternoons with a case mix of patients with predominantly malignant haematological conditions. The focus of this clinic is myeloid related diseases (acute leukaemia, myelodysplastic syndromes, myeloproliferative neoplasms and stem cell transplant consultation), including diagnosis, treatment and post-acute care. An understanding of haematologic disease, particularly myeloid disorders and related biology, investigation, treatment and clinical trials is essential. The appointee must contribute to regular functioning of the Haematology unit, including participation in multidisciplinary team meetings aligned with this clinic. The role also requires participation in scientific/translational research within the Monash Health and Translation Precinct (MHTP), the advanced trainee teaching program and other relevant unit and hospital educational and quality activities.Â

About the Role
Join our team as a Patient Services Assistant on a part time, fixed term, until 8 January 2027 to work at Moorabbin Hospital. In this role, you will be guided under the leadership of the Patient services Manager and working with the broader Support Services team.
PSAs play a vital role in supporting the clinical team in the delivery of patient care. They do a range of tasks including, but not limited to, cleaning, patient transfers, and equipment handling. Working as part of a team and on their own, PSAs are responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and patient support across the hospital.

- Daily ward cleaning, discharge room cleans, and unscheduled cleans

About the RoleÂ
We are looking for a Grade 1 Social Worker to join our Adult Acute Social Work team at Casey Hospital in a full-time position.
This is an exciting opportunity to build your clinical skills in a busy acute hospital environment while being surrounded by an experienced, supportive and collaborative Social Work team. About the Department / Program
Monash Health High Risk Foot Service provides best practice inpatient and outpatient care for patients with diabetes and complex limb threatening complications. The aim of the service is to provide evidence based, best practice care to patients with complex diabetes related (and other high risk) foot complications with a focus on reducing hospital admissions, minimising length of stay and reducing the rates of major amputation.
The service in jointly run by Podiatry, Vascular (including Interventional Radiology), Diabetes with input from Infectious Diseases and Orthopaedics. In 2024, Monash Health was awarded with a National Association Diabetes Centres High Risk Foot Service Centre of Excellence.Â
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic early career Podiatrist to join our team in a New Graduate or Grade 1 role (4 days per week, 12-month fixed-term), within our service providing care to community health, podiatry outpatient and multidisciplinary high-risk foot clinics as well as acute and subacute inpatient services. We are open to applicants who either graduated in 2025 and are looking for a new challenge, or undergraduate students with expected graduation 2026. Working with a diverse range of clients, no two days will be the same. You will work alongside our talented and supportive Podiatrists as well as the wider interdisciplinary team. You will be thoroughly supported in the role with access to the Podiatry Clinical Educator to facilitate your learning and development.
Rotations will be provided across the lifespan and through various programs within Monash Health ranging from Child and Family, Community Assessment and Response Team, Aged and Community Care and Allied Health Adult Inpatient Care (High Risk Foot Service).Â

About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist Grade 2 to join our team part-time ongoing at Monash Health in a 0.8EFT position. You will be working within the geriatric evaluation and management (GEM) stream to provide meaningful intervention to older frail adults.
You’ll be part of a large, supportive subacute service, delivering high-quality occupational therapy in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. This is an exciting time to work in GEM with several model of care changes that look at making a real impact to the frail older population. This role is fast-paced, rewarding, and integral to delivering exceptional rehabilitation outcomes.
As an Occupational Therapist, you’ll empower patients to engage in meaningful activities and improve their quality of life. Your day will include:
- Conducting occupational assessments
- Collaboratively setting goals with patients and the multidisciplinary team

The Chief Nursing and Midwifery Office provide strategic, professional and operational leadership for Monash Health’s nursing and midwifery workforce. Bringing together the Workforce, Professional Practice, Education, Mental Health Education, Prevention of Violence and Aggression and Practice Improvement teams, the Office drives workforce capability, professional standards, clinical governance and continuous improvement. The Nursing and Midwifery Workforce and Professional Practice team operates within the Office of the Chief Nursing and Midwifery Officer and provides organisation-wide leadership in workforce strategy, workforce sustainability and professional governance for nursing and midwifery across Monash Health. Working collaboratively with clinical services, education providers and operational leaders, the team supports current and future workforce priorities through innovative workforce programs, contemporary employment models and evidence-informed governance frameworks Â

About the Role Â
We are seeking dedicated Allocations Officers to join the Workforce Unit team, based at Kingston Centre. We currently have opportunities available for a permanent position working 7 days per fortnight, as well as casual positions for individuals seeking flexible work arrangements.
These roles are ideal for people who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. Positions work across a rotating roster of morning, day and afternoon shifts, covering operational hours between 5:30 AM and 10:00 PM, 7 days a week.
You will receive comprehensive on-the-job training and gain experience using a web-based staff allocation system, while playing a vital role in supporting workforce operations across Monash Health.
As part of the Workforce Unit Allocations Team, you will be responsible for coordinating staffing across Monash Health using a web-based workforce management system.
