- Demonstrated experience in medical education and training, medical workforce coordination, health service administration, general practice or a related health sector environment, with experience coordinating programs or activities across multiple stakeholders and clinical training settings, including hospital and/or community-based environments.

Position Description Local Work Environment St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne (SVHM) operates three Residential Aged Care Services (RACS) facilities - Berengarra, Auburn House and Prague House - collectively providing permanent and respite care for 165 residents. Services include mainstream aged care, psychogeriatric care and spe ialist programs supporting people with mental health diagnoses, acquired brain injuries and/or a history of homelessness. All facilities are registered NDIS providers. The position is primarily based at St George's Health Service in Kew, with responsibilities across campuses and residential aged care sites. RACS forms part of SVHM's Continuing Care Program, alongside Subacute Services, Bed Based Transition Care, Community Services and Healthcare for the Homeless.
Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership and Service Delivery Support the day-to-day operational management of Residential Aged Care Services. Provide direct leadership and oversight of the Lifestyle and Administration Teams. Act as a key liaison with Allied Health teams to support communication, coordinated care and service planning. Monitor operational performance andescalate emerging risks and issues. Coordinate service initiatives, operational projects and improvement activities. The BeWell Program sits within the Psychology Program of Monash Health. The service has been operating for over 5 years and forms on integral part of the wider wellbeing strategy of Monash Health. BeWell continues to provide, promote and support the well-being of Monash Health Staff. About the role
In this role you will be responsible for managing the Independent Mental Health Advocacy service (IMHA), which provides opt out non legal advocacy services to consumers subject to or at risk of being placed on a compulsory treatment order in Victoria.
You will be required to lead and manage a diverse team of non-legal advocates, including building the teams' capability to deliver high-quality advocacy services and providing appropriate supervision and debriefing practices. In addition, you will also work in collaboration with the Associate Director to develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including internal VLA staff, designated mental health services, community mental health and wellbeing services, the Department of Health, Victorian Aboriginal Legal services and other Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations.
This role can be based at either our Frankston, Dandenong offices on Bunurong Country or our Ringwood office on Wurundjeri Country.

Leadership experience in the provision of advocacy services in mental health, health, community service, social work or other similar sectors, including experience in service design, implementation and evaluation.
People management experience including a proven ability to lead high performing teams, nurture the skills and talents of staff with diverse professional experience, and provide supervision and debriefing when required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate with people across all levels within an organisation and with external stakeholders.

Marian Drummond Adolescent Unit
The Marian Drummond Adolescent Unit (Inpatient Service for teenagers 13-17 years) is an 11-bed unit, which provides assessment and treatment to teenagers who require more intensive treatment than can be offered in an outpatient setting. The unit has a dynamic and caring staff focusing on helping adolescents and their families at times of crisis and need. The unit has a catchment area covering the six local government areas serviced by Austin Health's ICYMHS, as well as rural areas serviced by Bendigo ICYMHS and Mildura CAMHS.
Specialist Eating Disorders Service (SEDS)
SEDS is a multidisciplinary clinical team that is responsible for direct provision of specialised eating disorders care in outpatient settings including intake, triage, waitlist management, assessment and treatment, in partnership with regional community ICYMHS teams. SEDS provides clinical support and guidance to ICYMHS case managers for eating disorders cases, as well as liaising with acute medical and mental health inpatient staff to support treatment and discharge planning for consumers admitted to inpatient units. The SEDS team leads coordination of eating disorders care, including case reviews, the eating disorders registry and service-level monitoring and evaluation.
About the role
As theConsultant Psychiatrist, Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatry Unit/Eating Disorders,you will be required to provide comprehensive and high-quality evidence-based psychiatric services to young consumers and their families or support networks in the Inpatient and Specialist Eating Disorders Service Teams.
About you
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Be a registered Medical Practitioner in Australia with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Hold a Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent post graduate specialist qualification.
- Hold a RANZCP Certificate of Advanced Training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, or equivalent. Psychiatrists with significant experience in Youth Psychiatry will be considered for the role focused on young people aged 12-25 years.
- Have detailed knowledge of the triage and access systems to tertiary mental health services.
- Demonstrate experience with a variety of liaison psychiatry settings, including in-reach to the emergency department where indicated.
- Demonstrate a commitment to high-quality patient care.
- Demonstrate a commitment to working as a team member with peer medical, junior medical, nursing and other clinical staff to provide efficient, safe and quality care across the continuum, and
- Demonstrate a commitment to teaching, training and research.
