Concentric Health We're looking for someone based in Melbourne, though we'll consider strong candidates elsewhere in Australia.
Concentric is the UK's market-leading digital consent application, used by over 30,000 clinicians and supporting 40,000 patients each week. Now we're expanding internationally, and Australia is our next step. We're a small, friendly, clinically-led team working to make consent more transparent, empowering, and genuinely shared between clinician and patient.
Where are we in Australia?Over the past two years we've been building our presence in Australia, including a year with Patrick on the ground. We've learned that the product fits well, the clinical need is real, and early adopters across several states are sharing positive feedback. Patrick has written about that journey in Familiar, but not the same: lessons from Australia . If you're considering this role, please do read it - it's the best window into where we are.
We now have mature conversations with a small number of large healthcare organisations, including public hospital groups, in parallel with a steadily growing base of users in private consulting rooms. The next phase calls for clinical depth and local expertise that we don't yet have on the ground, which is the reason for this role.
We're hiring two people in Australia. This role will lead clinical engagement and help shape local clinical content and product priorities. We're also hiring an implementation and growth colleague to lead organisations through the journey from first evaluating Concentric to live deployment, alongside market development. You'll work as a pair, with deliberate overlap where implementation and clinical adoption meet.
Your roleAs one of our first two hires in Australia, you'll be bringing a proven product to a new market. Concentric already supports over 2 million patients each year at key moments in their care across the UK; your aim is to help build that same impact for patients and clinicians in Australia.
The heart of the role is clinical engagement. You'll be the clinical face of Concentric in Australia, and your credibility as a practising or recently practising clinician matters here: you'll be talking with peers, and your first-hand understanding of the consent conversation will carry weight.
You'll also use your clinical judgement to notice where Concentric fits naturally into Australian workflows, where it creates friction and what needs to change, turning those observations into clear input for our UK-based product and clinical content teams.
Over the first 12 months, success would mean at least one large healthcare organisation live and building sustained clinical use, alongside growing momentum in private consulting rooms. Your contribution will be to build the clinical trust, local fit and day-to-day adoption that make that possible.
Australia is the market we've deliberately chosen for our first move beyond the UK and Ireland, and the founders are committed to making it a success. You'll work directly with them on how Concentric should operate clinically in Australia and how we build a lasting local presence.
You'll also work regularly with colleagues across clinical content, operations, and product in the UK, often asynchronously, with regular virtual catch-ups alongside in-person visits from the broader team. You and your implementation colleague will be the only team members on the ground in Australia, so you'll need to be comfortable working independently and making confident, informed decisions, especially outside UK working hours.
Your focus- Clinical engagement: Running engagement sessions with clinical audiences, both within and outside the context of a deployment; supporting clinicians through their initial use of Concentric; and developing clinical champions at each site.
- Supporting adoption: Working with the implementation and growth lead to support rollout and sustained clinical use, and helping ensure the onboarding experience works well for clinicians.
- Product and workflow insight: Turning what you see in clinical use, alongside feedback from Australian users, into clear, practical input for our product and content teams on what should be adapted for the local context.
- Clinical content localisation: Leading work with clinicians at our sites where content or terminology needs to reflect Australian clinical practice, and feeding insights back to the UK clinical content team.
- Clinical user support: Helping clinicians resolve questions and use Concentric confidently, then identifying recurring themes that could improve the product, content, or support we provide.
You're a clinician with the breadth and curiosity to engage confidently across clinical areas, and a genuine interest in how Concentric can be made to work well for Australian clinicians and patients. What matters most is clinical credibility, sound judgement, and clear communication. We're looking for someone who:
- Has a clinical background, with broad clinical understanding and the confidence to engage with topics outside their own core experience.
- Builds trust easily with clinical peers and is comfortable running demonstrations and supporting colleagues through change.
- Has excellent written and presentation skills, with a mature sense of how to communicate effectively with different audiences.
- Has strong product instincts, a feel for what works clinically and what doesn't, and the comfort to get into the detail of content, terminology, and practice when it matters.
- Is happy working independently within a small, remote team in a role with variety and some ambiguity, and is aligned with our core values of quality, conviction, and openness and our mission to improve consent and shared decision making in healthcare.

Tamworth is a thriving regional city of around 50,000, positioned halfway between Sydney and Brisbane and famous as Australia's Country Music Capital - home to the 10-day Tamworth Country Music Festival, the largest of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. Families relocating from metro areas consistently cite the same drawcards: significantly more affordable housing than Sydney or Newcastle, an easy 10-15 minute commute door-to-door, strong public and independent schools, and an award-winning regional playground and aquatic centre that anchor a genuinely family-friendly community. Beyond the city itself, you're on the doorstep of the New England Tablelands, national parks and the Peel River - with two 18-hole golf courses, riding, mountain biking, fishing and 120+ restaurants and cafés keeping weekends full. Tamworth Airport offers daily flights to Sydney and Brisbane, so a metro getaway is never more than an hour away.

Shellharbour Full-Time or Part-Time Employee or Contractor
Highly competitive remuneration - earning potential up to $250,000 FTE
RX Active Health is seeking an experienced Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist to join our growing multidisciplinary health team in Shellharbour.
We are building a genuinely integrated model of care where psychology, physiotherapy, strength training, exercise, Reformer Pilates and recovery services work alongside one another to help people improve their physical and psychological health for the long term.
As the first psychologist within RX Active Health, you will have the opportunity to shape how psychology is integrated into our wider model of care while maintaining genuine clinical autonomy.
WHO WE ARERX Active Health was built around a simple belief:
People deserve more from healthcare than a diagnosis, a few strategies and being told to come back when the problem returns.
We want people to understand their health, build confidence, become stronger and feel more capable of managing their wellbeing for the long term.
Our growing health centre brings together:
- A large 24/7 strength and conditioning gym
- Personal training and group training
- Performance and strength testing
- Rehabilitation and long-term health programs
- Additional allied health services as we grow
Alongside our existing facility, we are opening a beautiful new purpose-built allied health building next door.
Your psychology room will be calm, private, inviting, professional and soundproof - giving clients a dedicated therapeutic space while keeping you connected to the broader clinical team.
OUR CLINICAL FOCUSOur physiotherapy team has developed particular expertise in:
- TMJ and jaw disorders
- Complex neck pain and headache
- Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and hypermobility
- Persistent and complex pain
- Musculoskeletal injury and rehabilitation
These clients often have needs that extend beyond the purely physical.
Someone with persistent jaw or neck pain may also be navigating anxiety, stress, disrupted sleep, fear or trauma. A client with EDS or hypermobility may be dealing with chronic symptoms, uncertainty around their body or reduced confidence.
Having psychology embedded within the same team allows us to support these clients in a more connected way.
However, this is not a narrow pain psychology role.
You will see a wide variety of clients and presentations, allowing you to build a broad private-practice psychology caseload according to your experience and interests.
Your caseload may include:
- Anxiety, stress and depression
- Trauma and adjustment
- Burnout and life transitions
- Relationship and interpersonal concerns
- Persistent pain and chronic health conditions
- Injury and rehabilitation
- Fear of movement or reinjury
- Work and lifestyle stress
This gives you genuine clinical variety while creating opportunities to collaborate with physiotherapists and exercise professionals when a client's physical and psychological health intersect.
WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENTYou may already have a successful psychology career and a loyal client base, but be ready for a more connected environment.
Pearhaps you are tired of psychology feeling isolated from the rest of healthcare. Perhaps you want colleagues around you who understand that physical and psychological health influence one another. Or perhaps you want greater earning potential without carrying the full administrative burden of running your own practice.
You will be joining an established health business with:
- A strong existing client community and growing internal referral network
- Strong relationships with local GPs and health professionals
- Exercise and strength professionals
- Administration and billing support
- Established systems and proven marketing channels
- Personal and group training
- Reformer Pilates and recovery services
- Performance and rehabilitation services
- A leadership team genuinely invested in growing psychology
You will have support around you without losing your professional autonomy.
THE ROLEAs our first psychologist, you will deliver high-quality psychological care while helping us establish strong foundations for the service.
Your role may include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments
- Developing individualised, evidence-based treatment plans
- Delivering psychological interventions within your scope and areas of competence
- Using approaches such as CBT, ACT, behavioural strategies and psychoeducation where appropriate
- Supporting clients with anxiety, stress, trauma, persistent pain, chronic conditions and behaviour-change challenges
- Addressing psychological barriers to movement, rehabilitation and participation in everyday life
- Collaborating with physiotherapists and other health professionals where appropriate and with client consent
- Maintaining excellent clinical records and professional standards
- Participating in multidisciplinary discussions where beneficial
- Contributing ideas to the future development of psychology at RX Active Health
- Maintaining ongoing CPD and clinical supervision
We want someone experienced enough to bring their own clinical judgement, ideas and expertise to the role.
OUR VALUESWe value thoughtful, evidence-informed care and clinicians who remain curious and willing to learn.
Our goal is to help clients become more confident and capable - not dependent on treatment.
Education and empowerment.
Clients should understand their health, treatment and why we are recommending it.
Collaboration over silos.
Strong healthcare comes from professionals communicating, respecting scope and working together when it benefits the client.
Strength and participation matter.
Where appropriate, we want people moving, exercising, working, parenting, socialising and participating fully in life.
High standards with genuine humanity.
We care deeply about people while maintaining professionalism, boundaries and accountability.
Growth.
We want clinicians who seek feedback, invest in CPD and take pride in continually improving.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORWe are looking for someone who is clinically strong, emotionally mature, professional, collaborative and genuinely invested in excellent client outcomes.
The ideal applicant will have:
- At least 5 years' private-practice experience in Australia
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist
- Strong assessment and treatment-planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence working autonomously
- A commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing CPD
- A strong work ethic and personal accountability
- Genuine interest in multidisciplinary care
- Interest in contributing to a growing psychology service
Experience with pain, trauma, rehabilitation, health psychology, chronic conditions, EDS/hypermobility, TMJ or complex physical health presentations is highly regarded, but not essential.
WHAT WE OFFER- A dedicated psychology room in our new purpose-built allied health facility
- A calm, private and soundproof clinical environment
- A strong and growing internal referral base
- Collaboration with six physiotherapists and exercise professionals
- Connection with our gym, strength training, Pilates and recovery environment
- Administrative and billing support
- Established systems and marketing support
- Protected lunch breaks for employees
- Quarterly and annual team-building events
- Opportunity to shape the future of psychology within RX Active Health
- Significant earning potential for a high-performing clinician
Highly competitive remuneration - earning potential up to $250,000 FTE.
For employees, remuneration includes a base salary plus commission, providing income stability while rewarding productivity and contribution to the growth of the psychology service.
For psychologists who prefer a contractor arrangement, a straight commission structure is also available.
Remuneration will reflect experience, seniority, registration type, clinical capability, caseload capacity and the level of responsibility undertaken.
BUILD SOMETHING MEANINGFUL WITH USRX Active Health is entering an exciting stage of growth.
We are expanding our facilities, growing our clinical team and building a model of healthcare that connects psychological care, physical rehabilitation, movement, strength and long-term health.
As our first psychologist, you will have the opportunity to influence how psychology fits within that model from the beginning.
We are not looking for someone to simply fill a consulting room.
- We are looking for an experienced psychologist who wants to deliver excellent clinical care, work alongside other passionate health professionals and help us build an exceptional psychology service within a genuinely integrated health team.
