This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a purpose-built clinic designed around family-focused healthcare. With five spacious consulting rooms, on-site x-ray, pathology, and paediatric-trained nursing support, this is a chance to join a growing service that's reshaping urgent and primary care access in WA.
The Position
- Expressions of interest for two full-time GPs
- Opportunity to shape the launch of a GP stream within an established, high-demand urgent care model
- Mixed demographic – primarily paediatric, but growing family and adult patient base
- Flexible arrangements – willing to consider locum GPs and part-time sessions
- Open 7 days a week: 8:00am–10:00pm, with plans to add Saturday morning GP sessions
- Standard 15-minute appointment times, private billing model
- Utilises Medirecords software, with full nursing and reception support
Facility Features
- 5 dedicated GP consult rooms, plus 10 patient bays for urgent care presentations
- On-site imaging (x-ray) and pathology collection (Western Diagnostics)
- Paediatric-trained nurses and support staff on-site
- Beautiful, light-filled clinic and a supportive team
Billing and remuneration
- 65% of billings (standard consultation $95)
- Minimum guarantee negotiable depending on availability and experience

About the Role:Under the Strengthening Medicare Initiative, Northern Health are piloting an integrated outreach model to deliver rapid care and support to older persons in the community. The aim of the Older Persons Care Hub (OPCH)is to provide non-admitted specialist geriatric assessments and rapid short-term interventions to older people in their homes who are at high-risk of hospital presentations.
The OPCH Team Leader will oversee the development of the OPCH, the coordination of the clinical team and the delivery of patient care. This role is also responsible for the development and implementation of the OPCH project, engaging key stakeholders, ensuring key deliverables are achieved and providing regular progress reports to the Department of Health. This is a leadership role that will be responsible for the performance, practice and professional behaviour of the multidisciplinary team (in liaison with relevant Allied Discipline leadership) and professional supervision of the Nursing team. The Team Leader will also be required to carry a clinical caseload (phone or home based).
The OPCH is currently a 6 day per week service working towards a 7day a week service (Hours of work 8.00am - 4.30pm). The successful incumbent will need to be flexible with their working hours which will include working on weekends and public holidays. This is a 40 hour a week position and is fixed term to June 30th 2028.
To be successful in this role you will have:- Minimum 7 years clinical experience
- Extensive experience in the management of complex clients in the acute/community healthcare setting
