The Clinical Psychologist Registrar Program aims to support new graduate psychologists who have completed post-graduate training in clinical psychology and provides an opportunity to make the transition to professional practice in a structured and supported two-year program. The role is embedded within mental health settings at Bendigo Health and seeks to achieve agreed upon goals relative to the candidate's registrar objectives, whilst meeting Bendigo Health organisational requirements.
The program is designed to provide opportunities through provision of psychological work, supervision and professional development to gain an area of practice endorsement, gain mental health expertise and consolidate both theoretical and practical skills in a range of settings. Each registrar is offered clinical rotations across the lifespan in various settings (inpatient and community services).
The program aims to support new graduates during their first 24 months of professional practice to develop the skills, knowledge, applied experience and values to become an effective member of the Mental Health and Wellbeing workforce.

Your New DivisionThe Clinical Operations Division encompasses acute, cancer and mental health services. We provide a wide range of general medical, surgical and specialty services including but not limited to; Oncology, Cardiology, Renal, Emergency, Women's and Children's, Critical Care, Specialist Clinics, Cancer Clinics and Mental Health Services.
Within a state-of-the-art hospital, our Ambulatory and Critical Care, Medical Services, Surgical Services and Women's and Children's (including an Early Parenting Centre) areas use the latest technologies to provide excellent care. Our world class Cancer Centre uses a multi-disciplinary, integrated approach to treat specific cancers. The Cancer Centre offers medical oncology, radiation oncology, specialist nurses, clinical trials and cancer research, palliative care, and a Cancer Wellness Program.
The Mental Health and Wellbeing Service provides psychiatric care and treatment across a large catchment covering the Loddon Mallee region. Family sensitive practice is central to our models of mental health care and best practice ensures the identification, inclusion and support of families, carers and children.
Each year our onsite Specialist Clinics provide over 100,000 service events, we also see more than 60,000 people in our Emergency Department and welcome around 1700 babies into the world. The Clinical Operations Division assists with the admission of more than 50,000 patients into the hospital each year.

The Medical Director - Informatics serves as a critical link between digital health, organisational change and clinical communities in the shared effort to shape responsive, coordinated and safe patient care across the Loddon Mallee region. The Mental Health Graduate Program provides an opportunity for newly qualified Occupational Therapists to make the transition to professional practice in a structured and supported program. Each graduate is offered two six-month clinical rotations in two areas of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Service. The program encourages consolidation of mental health skills and knowledge within a holistic multidiscipline framework that also includes lived experience workers.
The Mental Health Graduate Program aims to support new graduates during their first year of professional practice to develop the skills, knowledge, applied experience and values to become an effective member of the mental health workforce. Graduates attend monthly study days facilitated by the Mental Health Professional Development Unit, completing assessment tasks and hurdle requirements to receive a certificate of completion.

We provide a wide range of general medical, surgical and specialty services including but not limited to; Oncology, Cardiology, Renal, Emergency, Women's and Children's, Critical Care, Specialist Clinics, Cancer Clinics and Mental Health Services.
Within a state-of-the-art hospital, our Ambulatory and Critical Care, Medical Services, Surgical Services and Women's and Children's (including an Early Parenting Centre) areas use the latest technologies to provide excellent care. Our world class Cancer Centre uses a multi-disciplinary, integrated approach to treat specific cancers. The Cancer Centre offers medical oncology, radiation oncology, specialist nurses, clinical trials and cancer research, palliative care, and a Cancer Wellness Program.
The Mental Health and Wellbeing Service provides psychiatric care and treatment across a large catchment covering the Loddon Mallee region. Family sensitive practice is central to our models of mental health care and best practice ensures the identification, inclusion and support of families, carers and children.
Each year our onsite Specialist Clinics provide over 100,000 service events, we also see more than 60,000 people in our Emergency Department and welcome around 1700 babies into the world. The Clinical Operations Division assists with the admission of more than 50,000 patients into the hospital each year.
