As a Forensic Senior Clinician, Practice working in Barwon Prison Precinct, you will provide leadership, high level consultancy and advice to internal and external stakeholders across the system on clinical matters, particularly in relation to the management of service users and their multi-systemic treatment needs.

About the role
In this role you will be responsible for managing the Independent Mental Health Advocacy service (IMHA), which provides opt out non legal advocacy services to consumers subject to or at risk of being placed on a compulsory treatment order in Victoria.

About Lavarack Health Centre
Lavarack Health Centre is located in Townsville at Lavarack Barracks, the largest Army base in Australia. Located approximately 45km South of Perth on Garden Island, HMAS Stirling provides operational and logistics support to the RAN ships, submarines and aircraft based in WA. About the Role
A Nurse Practitioner is a registered nurse educated and authorised to function autonomously and collaboratively in an advanced and extended clinical role. About ACT Health Centre
ACT houses Department of Defence Headquarters, Airforce Headquarters and Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) which is a tri-service military academy. The ACT Health Centre opened mid-2021 and is a large facility. It services approximately 7000 military personnel, including trainee officers from both ADFA and Royal Military College. Sydney Children's Hospitals Network (SCHN) is a world leading centre for paediatric organ transplantation with over 500 livers, 300 kidneys, and more recently islets and hearts transplanted. In addition to these clinical activities, SCHN is leading globally significant research programs in organ transplantation and gene therapy, many collaboratively with other local health districts (LHDs), universities and medical research institutes (MRIs). The Children's Centre for Transplantation and Research (CCTR) aims to create a world class multi-disciplinary space that is not only transformational for children requiring organ transplantation, but also for those with conditions amenable to gene therapy. The Project Manager is a newly created position within the CCTR at the SCHN, to drive establishment and implementation of the CCTR, and ensure a safe, fit for purpose, on time delivery of the initiative, to agreed scope, and within budget. Primary responsibilities of the role is to: Provide leadership and project management for the above initiative in relation to redevelopment and research matters. Provide strategic and operational advice to the lead clinicians and researchers working on the project.

- Demonstrated experience in project management, developing and managing program budgets, implementing risk management plans and managing issues.

Puckapunyal Military Area is located approximately 13km west of Seymour. What you'll be doing
To ensure the efficiency of the department is maintained, in association with departmental SSOs (if available), daily completion of room stock take is to be performed, including examination room preparation, maintenance of consumables, and assistance for manual handling tasks.
The position must participate with patient throughput, patient care and patient scheduling. Included within this definition is overall Quality Assurance, organisation, activities and adherence to the standards within the Vascular Ultrasound Unit; participating in implementation of existing and new techniques, adherence to protocols, scheduling and training and ensuring all resources are used in the most effective manner.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Must hold a Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science in Diagnostic Radiography or Applied Science and a relevant post graduate diploma with current AHPRA registration and EPA Licence or ASAR accredited Medical Sonographer with a post graduate degree in Sonography.
- Current or recent demonstrated experience in vascular ultrasound in a tertiary hospital.
Proven ability in both written and verbal communication with patients and hospital staff.

About ACT Health Centre
Home to the Department of Defence Headquarters, Airforce Headquarters and Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) which is a tri-service military academy. The Health Centre opened mid-2022 and is a large facility. It services approximately 7000 military personnel, including trainee officers from both ADFA and Royal Military College. There is a 24-bed low dependency ward which operates 24/7. Services provided include primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, nursing, dental, mental health, pharmaceutical and physiotherapy. Defence Force Recruitment for medical officers is in addition to health centre roles. Standard hours of operation are generally Monday to Friday (After-hours, weekend and on-call shifts may be required).
