Exciting Casual Opportunity: Community Support Worker
In the remote communities of Cleve, Cowell, and Kimba, a Community Support Worker does more than complete a checklist - you help someone stay in the home they love, on their own terms. At Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN), your presence in Eastern Eyre is the thread that connects clients to their independence, their community, and the life they've built.
Your Role in the Community
Working within EFNLHN's Consumer Directed Care model, you'll deliver support shaped by each client's own goals and preferences. No two days are identical, and that's by design. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and mobility with respect and dignity
- Performing household tasks including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and minor gardening
- Providing reliable transport to appointments and community outings
- Supporting social engagement and activities that contribute to client wellbeing
- At the WHA4 level, delivering personal care to clients with more complex support needs
What You Bring
- A warm, empathetic approach and the confidence to work independently across small remote communities
- Sound communication skills and genuine respect for people from diverse cultures and backgrounds
- Experience supporting aged, frail, or disabled individuals in a home or community setting
- The ability to work as part of a close-knit, community-based team within EFNLHN's Eastern Eyre service area
- For appointment at WHA4 level: Certificate III or higher in Individual Support (Aged Care, Disability, or Home and Community)

Exciting Casual Opportunity: Community Support Worker
In the coastal community of Streaky Bay, the work of a Community Support Worker carries real weight. At Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN), you'll be the person who helps someone stay in the home they love - offering practical support, genuine connection, and the kind of care that makes independence possible.
What You'll Be Doing
Working within EFNLHN's Consumer Directed Care model, you'll deliver support shaped by each client's own goals and preferences - because here, the consumer leads the care. Shifts, duties, and frequency are guided by the people you support, giving your work real purpose and variety.
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and mobility in a respectful and dignified manner
- Perform household tasks including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and minor gardening
- Provide reliable transport to appointments and community outings
- Support social engagement and activities that contribute to client wellbeing
- At the WHA4 level, deliver personal care to clients with more complex support needs
What You'll Bring
- A warm, empathetic approach and the confidence to work independently in the community
- Sound communication skills and genuine respect for people from diverse cultures and backgrounds
- Experience supporting aged, frail, or disabled individuals
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small, community-based team
- Familiarity with SA Health's person-centred care frameworks is highly regarded

What You'll Be Doing

Your Role at Port Lincoln Hospital
As a casual Enrolled Nurse within the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network, you'll work under the supervision of Registered Nurses to deliver safe, person-centred care across inpatient and general ward settings at Port Lincoln Hospital. Day to day, you can expect to:
- Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration within your enrolled scope of practice
- Accurately document patient assessments, observations, and care plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient flow and continuity of care
- Contribute to a culture of safety, dignity, and respect for every patient and family member
What You'll Bring
- Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- Working knowledge of enrolled nursing scope of practice under NMBA standards
- Competency in medication administration (notation of any conditions on registration required)
- Sound clinical communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively within a small regional hospital team where flexibility across ward areas is routine

What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering direct nursing care to community-based clients across the Eyre and Far North Community & Allied Health service, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Contributing to individualised care plans, monitoring patient progress, and escalating changes in clinical condition appropriately
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including allied health professionals, GPs, and community support workers
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in line with EFNLHN policies and the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia standards
What You'll Bring
- Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA), with no restrictions on practice
- Experience or demonstrated interest in community, primary health, or outpatient nursing settings
- Sound understanding of person-centred care and the ability to work with clients from diverse backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
- A current, unrestricted South Australian driver's licence - community nursing in this region requires it

We are a motivated and reliable Services Assistant to join our dedicated team, supporting the smooth daily operations of the Burra Hospital. In this hands-on role, you will contribute to a clean, safe and welcoming environment while assisting with catering, cleaning and housekeeping services that directly support patient care.
Role Summary
As a Services Assistant, you will:
- Assist with meal preparation, service and delivery, including breakfast, soups and light meals
- Undertake general cleaning duties, including high window cleaning and carpet shampooing
- Support laundry services, including washing, folding, ironing and linen distribution
- Ensure timely and accurate meal plating and delivery, including meeting dietary requirements
- Assist with minor sewing repairs and basic stock recording
On the job training will be provided for suitable candidates.

We're building our 2026–2027 Casual Employment Pool for Community Health Nurses across various locations throughout Eyre & Far North - a unique opportunity to contribute to primary health care in communities where your skills genuinely matter, through to 1 July 2027.
What You'll Be Doing
Working within the Port Lincoln Community & Allied Health unit, you'll deliver person-centred nursing care to individuals and families across the lifespan in community-based settings. Your day-to-day will include:
- Conducting health assessments and delivering evidence-based nursing care within the community
- Coordinating care plans and working collaboratively with allied health, medical, and community support teams
- Supporting chronic disease management, health education, and early intervention programs
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in line with SA Health standards and legislative requirements
What You'll Bring
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated experience in community, primary, or generalist nursing practice
- Sound understanding of social determinants of health and culturally responsive care
- Strong communication and care coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with SA Health policies, clinical frameworks, or equivalent state health system experience
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel within the Port Lincoln and surrounds region

About the Role:
You will provide high-quality, person-centred care to patients requiring close monitoring and specialised nursing support. Join our Facilities Casual Pool on Kangaroo Island and assist in supporting the smooth operation of the health unit by performing a variety of general facility and building maintenance tasks. You will work both indoors and outdoors, supporting the upkeep of buildings, fixtures, gardens, and grounds to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Selection Criteria
- Possess or be eligible for registration with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Possess Fellowship of The Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) and/or equivalent specialist recognition as provided for by the Health Insurance Act 1997 and Staff Specialists (State) Award, and Evidence of continuing medical education and self-monitoring/audit practices consistent with the scope of practice requirements of the position.
- Sound clinical knowledge in Geriatric Medicine demonstrated through successful clinical practice in an environment appropriate to the requirements of the position including evidence of participation in quality assurance activities relevant to the specialty.
- High level interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability working within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching and junior medical staff supervision consistent with contemporary best practice supervision standards.
- Demonstrates the skills and attitudes appropriate for practice as a Senior Medical /Dental Practitioner including modelling of a high standard of professional behaviour to junior medical staff.
- Sound clinical knowledge in the subspecialty of Geriatric Medicine demonstrated by relevant qualifications and/or appropriate post-Fellowship clinical experience.
- Familiarity with research concepts and commitment to support basic, applied, or clinical research as required within the Department.
Conditions of appointment are in accordance with the Health Services Act 1997, and Staff Specialists (State) Award.

What you'll be doing
As a Staff Specialist in Geriatric Medicine, you will join an enthusiastic multidisciplinary aged care team comprising Geriatricians, Clinical Nurse Consultants, and a Nurse Practitioner. You will:
- Provide inpatient geriatric consultative services at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital.
- Deliver clinical leadership to the 16‑bed Geriatric Medicine Unit, ensuring high‑quality care and patient flow.
- Provide outpatient clinics, including ambulatory and community geriatric services.
- Deliver outreach services across MLHD—via onsite visits, telehealth, and GP support.
- Support Aged Care Assessment Teams (ACAT), Aged Care Services in Emergency Teams (ASET), and community aged‑related care services.
- Work in partnership with a broad multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes for older people.
- Supervise junior medical staff and contribute to teaching and training.
- Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, peer review, and continuing professional development.

We are seeking a suitably experienced Dental Officer to join our large Oral Health Team on the Central Coast of NSW. If you are an enthusiastic and motivated dentist with a high level of knowledge, experience and clinical competency across the scope of general dentistry in a complex clinical setting this is an opportunity for you.
This is a clinical position with a full clinical load. There is no managerial or academic time allowance.
Level 1 Dental Officer:
Level 1 position applicants (from 1 to 4 years of full-time professional experience) must be able to perform examinations, investigations and basic treatment of commonly encountered dental diseases or dental health problems requiring standard corrective, restorative, surgical or preventive measures. Level 1 dental officers work in community or hospital clinics under the general oversight and mentorship of a more experienced dentist.
This position qualifies for the Dental Officer Rural Incentive Scheme Allowance (up to $20Kp.a) on top of Award Salary.

The Interventional Suite accommodates adult & paediatrics patients for planned & unplanned procedures &/or surgery. It comprises of 14 state of the art operating theatres including a Hybrid theatre; 2 Cardiac Catheter Labs, 4 procedure rooms, 41 bed recovery unit, Anaesthetics Service and state of the art Sterilising Services Department. The service currently operates 7 days, 06:00 to 21:00hrs.
What you'll be doing
As Nurse Unit Manager Level 2 - Scrub/Scout, you will provide clinical, professional and operational leadership to the Scrub/Scout team within Perioperative Services. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, high quality, patient-centred care while supporting the efficient operation of the Operating Suite.
Reporting to the Nurse Manager, Perioperative Services, you will be responsible for:
· Leading and supporting the Scrub/Scout nursing team.
· Ensuring the delivery of safe, evidence-based perioperative care.
· Managing staffing resources and day-to-day operational requirements.
· Supporting efficient theatre utilisation and patient flow.
· Fostering a positive workplace culture centred on collaboration, accountability and professional development.
· Leading quality improvement initiatives and maintaining accreditation standards.
· Working collaboratively with surgeons, anaesthetists and multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes.
· Supporting staff education, mentoring and workforce development.

What you'll be doing
The Midwife Manager coordinates and manages the midwifery services and resources, services, provides staff leadership and direction within a multidisciplinary health care team to achieve people focused quality care for Goulburn Maternity Services with outreach to Yass.
Selection Criteria
- Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Midwife.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in the field or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience.
- Demonstrated leadership skills including conflict resolution, mediation and negotiation, and the ability to motivate, inspire and manage staff to achieve service and professional goals through recognised change management processes.
- Proven ability to function effectively as part of a management team and to work successfully with other professionals and disciplines in the management of health care services.
- Broad clinical experience and operational management experience within a women's and children's environment, including strategic planning, the development, implementation & evaluation of models of care within the service.
- Demonstrated knowledge of professional practice with proven skills in assessing and supervising competence and performance of staff together with the skills in implementing continuous quality improvement programs, policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated capacity to manage and coordinate clinical services with proven ability to allocate and monitor resources to meet service and financial performance targets.
- Demonstrated effective communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means with the ability to utilise a range of communication strategies to negotiate resolutions and manage conflict.

What you'll be doing
