About The RoleAs a QC Team Leader, you will oversee daily laboratory operations, ensuring testing activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established quality systems and regulatory requirements. You will play a key role in supporting team performance, operational excellence, and strategic quality initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop a team of QC Scientists, Analysts, and Technicians.
- Ensure QC testing activities are delivered safely, on time, and in compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.
- Manage laboratory operations, workload planning, and resource allocation.
- Support investigations of quality events, deviations, and out-of-specification results.
- Review and approve testing activities and quality documentation.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert during internal and external audits.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, compliance, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to meet business and customer needs.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure HSE requirements are followed.
- Support staff training, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Contribute to site projects, method transfers, validations, and change management activities.
- Provide departmental leadership support and act as 2IC when required.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Degree in Natural Sciences, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Postgraduate qualifications (Masters) are advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years' experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or a highly regulated industry.
- Strong exposure to GMP or related quality systems.
- Previous people leadership or team management experience is highly desirable.
- Proven leadership and team development capability.
- Strong understanding of GMP, GxP, PIC/S, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and publish detailed production schedules aligned to site priorities and master plans.
- Coordinate schedule execution with cross functional stakeholders across Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Technical Operations.
- Manage schedule adjustments resulting from operational changes, material availability, quality events, or capacity constraints.
- Maintain production orders and scheduling data within SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
- Monitor and report key scheduling KPIs, including schedule adherence, plan conformance and rate performance.
