As an Enrolled Nurse in the Nurse Bank at Goulburn Base Hospital, you will provide nursing support across a variety of clinical areas, delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centred care while gaining exposure to different specialties and teams. The Nurse Bank provides an excellent opportunity to broaden your clinical experience, develop adaptability, and build relationships across the hospital. What you'll be doing
The Enrolled Nurse works under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse, to provide person-centered care, in collaboration with individual/s and the multidisciplinary health care team to achieve people focused quality care.
Selection Criteria
- Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse with evidence of recent clinical experience and skills in relation to the position, and a strong commitment to maintaining professional competence.
- Demonstrated effective professional verbal and written communication within a diverse multidisciplinary team.

Position details
The Team
Ward K10W is a 30-bed specialist respiratory and acute medicine unit located in K Block at the Royal Hobart Hospital. The ward provides care for patients across a diverse range of specialties, including respiratory medicine, acute general medicine, infectious diseases and eating disorders. K10W also works closely with the Tasmanian Eating Disorder Service and Cystic Fibrosis Tasmania to support the delivery of coordinated, specialised care

As the major clinical teaching and research centre, RHH works closely with the University of Tasmania and other institutions. All our services work closely together to focus on delivering excellence in healthcare to achieve improved outcomes for our consumers, our workforce, and the Tasmanian community.
The Role
The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) on K10W will:
- Provide expert clinical leadership and advice to support safe, contemporary and evidence-based nursing practice on K10W.
- Work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to build a positive team culture and support innovation, professional practice and clinical excellence.
- Provide advanced clinical support and consultation for complex patients and assist staff with clinical decision-making and multidisciplinary care coordination.
- Lead education, teaching and professional development, in collaboration with the clinical coach to build the capability and confidence of K10W nursing staff.
- Lead and support quality improvement, patient safety and risk management initiatives, including Nursing Sensitive Indicators and clinical standards.
- Contribute to the development and evaluation of clinical guidelines, procedures, pathways and new models of care relevant to K10W.
- Promote a strong culture of continuous improvement, multidisciplinary collaboration and patient-centred care across the unit.
You will need
- Extensive experience as a Registered Nurse within medical and cancer services or relevant areas, with the ability to apply advanced clinical expertise and promote best practice principles in the care of medical and respiratory patients.
- High-level organisational, independent decision-making and problem-solving skills, including the demonstrated ability to effectively work autonomously to achieve specified outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to apply principles of clinical risk management, quality improvement, nursing research and professional practice to the clinical setting.

Details of appointment
Permanent part time, day worker, working 64 hours per fortnight, as soon as possible start.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary
$118,297 to $125,543 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance withNurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type

The Role
As Nurse Unit Manager, you will provide clinical and operational leadership to the Medical Ward at Mersey Community Hospital, overseeing services across general medicine, geriatric care and palliative care. You will lead a skilled and dedicated workforce, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, evidence-based care within a multidisciplinary environment. This role is responsible for the effective management of human, financial and physical resources, monitoring ward performance, driving quality improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of excellence, learning and innovation. You will work collaboratively with the Nursing Director - Medicine, Clinical Lead Medicine and key stakeholders to support service delivery, patient outcomes and workforce capability.
You will need
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to inspire, develop and support nursing teams while promoting a positive and accountable workplace culture.
- Extensive clinical knowledge and experience relevant to acute medical, geriatric and/or palliative care services, together with an understanding of contemporary clinical governance and quality improvement principles.
- Strong decision-making, resource management and relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholder groups.

This position offers accredited Emergency experience, up to 24 months, for trainees of relevant colleges (ACEM, CICM, RACP, RANZCOG, RACGP). The contract for this position can be one or two years and our institution will be working to provide Critical Care terms and non-ED terms as individual requires. Rotations to tertiary EDs can also be negotiated. Responsibilities and opportunities for autonomous practice will be possible commensurate with level of expertise and experience.

Career Medical Officer - Emergency Medicine & Hospital in the Home (HITH)

Remuneration

About the role
Lead and deliver palliative care education, training and learning initiatives for nursing, midwifery and multidisciplinary teams. Drive practice improvement, support policy alignment, coordinate projects and contribute to safe, positive care outcomes.
Key duties of the role
- Provide expert paediatric palliative care and clinical guidance, using evidence and experience to support decision making

Your Role in the Team
Working within the NALHN Mental Health Service – Adult Service based at Salisbury - you will provide skilled clinical assessment, short-term intervention, and assertive follow-up to adults experiencing acute mental illness in the northern Adelaide community. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing evidence-based care plans in collaboration with consumers and their support networks
- Delivering assertive outreach and home-based care to consumers with complex or high-acuity presentations
- Coordinating care across multidisciplinary teams, GPs, and community services to support safe transitions and continuity of care
- Contributing to risk assessment, safety planning, and timely clinical documentation within SA Health frameworks
What You'll Bring
- Demonstrated experience in mental health nursing, including acute or community-based settings
- Sound knowledge of the Mental Health Act 2009 (SA) and recovery-oriented practice principles
- Confidence conducting independent clinical assessments and managing risk in a community environment
- Sound communication skills across multidisciplinary and consumer-facing contexts
- Compassionate, trauma informed approach to consumer care

About the Department / Program
Monash Children’s Hospital provides a Child Life Therapy service across paediatrics, including paediatric emergency, diagnostic imagining, pathology and acute inpatients.
Child Life Therapists form part of a dynamic Allied Health team. About the Role
Join our team as a Grade 2 Child Life Therapist on a part time (0.6 EFT, 45.6 hours per fortnight), 8 week fixed term position (27 October- 18 December, 2026), to work at Monash Children’s Hospital based at Clayton.
This position will provide clinical services to infants, children and adolescents, across Monash Children’s Hospital.
Child Life Therapy aims to reduce the stress and anxiety for children, young people and their families that can be associated with hospitalisation. Child Life Therapists specialise in child development to support and empower children, young people and their families to cope in the healthcare environment through:
- Provision of evidence-based interventions to promote developmental, social and emotional wellbeing
- Delivery of developmentally appropriate procedural preparation and support
- Collaborating with children, families and the healthcare team to identify and implement effective coping strategies
- Providing opportunities for play, including medical play, to support continued development and emotional wellbeing within the hospital environment
- Delivering training and support to healthcare professionals in procedural preparation, distraction techniques, and strategies to promote children’s wellbeing during medical procedures and within healthcare settings.

Where you'll be working
Join Child and Family Health services across WSLHD's Mt Druitt and Parramatta locations in a unique Nurse Practitioner role within Community Paediatrics. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary service delivering accessible, family-centred care to children and young people aged 0-18 years.
Make a lasting difference for children and families, leading advanced nursing care for children with Autism, ADHD and other neurodevelopmental concerns
Work where you're needed most, delivering innovative, place-based care through community hubs and multidisciplinary teams
Support children and families experiencing developmental, behavioural and psychosocial challenges, including those facing additional vulnerabilities
Deliver culturally responsive and trauma-informed care to diverse communities across Western Sydney
Contribute to early intervention, health literacy, service development and improved outcomes for children and families
What you'll be doing
As a Community Paediatrics TNP/NP, you will provide advanced clinical practice focused on comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and management of children and young people with developmental and behavioural concerns. You will bring a patient- and family-centred approach to complex presentations and contribute to service improvement across the district.
Conduct comprehensive developmental, behavioural, medical and psychosocial assessments
Apply advanced clinical reasoning to inform diagnosis, treatment and care planning
Prescribe appropriate pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions
Build therapeutic relationships through culturally safe and trauma-informed practice
Contribute to quality improvement, research and service evaluation in paediatrics

Essential Criteria
Qualification: Evidence of post graduate qualification; Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) or enrolled and or working towards and will be completed in 4 years.
Registration: Registered Nurse with a current licence to practice from the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
License: Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia and willingness to use for work purposes across district
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated high level of knowledge and advanced clinical paediatric nursing skills including comprehensive assessment, interpretation of diagnostics, implementation of treatment modalities and relevant referral skills applied to a range of challenging, complex, changing environments
Demonstrated competence in use and prescribing of medication for general paediatric conditions, or developmental and behavioural conditions.
Proven high level knowledge and expertise in complex client centred consultancy, practice development activities including mentoring education, policy development and quality improvement.
Demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and accountability while also working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary and multi service environment.
Demonstrated advanced communication and interpersonal skills across a variety of clinical settings. This includes experience working effectively with families from differing psychosocial, socioeconomic and /or culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds, including applying a trauma-informed lens to clinical care provision
Demonstrated experience in working with, escalating and managing child protection concerns.
Demonstrated ability to engage, network and establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support and facilitate client care needs.
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional and educational development of others, with a commitment to own professional development and currency of practice
