About the role
The Orthoptist will join the Ophthalmology team to ensure patients receive high quality ophthalmic care whilst attending the Women and Children’s Health Network. The orthoptist will investigate and manage paediatric ophthalmology and ocular motility conditions and contribute to the effective and efficient running of Ophthalmology outpatient clinics.
Key duties of the role
- Provide effective Orthoptic assessment and management services, including the management of amblyopia, refractive error, strabismus and other Orthoptic conditions, using evidence-based practice
- Liaise with senior staff on complex cases and contribute to contact lens services, administration and departmental teaching
- Support and actively participate in a positive culture and safe work environment within the Ophthalmology department
- Actively participate in SA Health’s Clinical Supervision programme working with your supervisor on a regular basis to further build your knowledge base.
Skills and Experience
- Appropriate degree or Master’s Degree qualification in Orthoptics which entitles registration with the Australian Orthoptic Board (AOB). Eligible for membership of Orthoptics Australia (OA)”
- Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience in paediatric ophthalmology.
- Demonstrated experience in paediatric orthoptics, including strabismus, amblyopia and ocular motility.
- Strong clinical, communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.

About the role
This role is an exciting opportunity to work with the Respiratory Coordinated Care and Chronic Care Team to enhance your skills and knowledge while improving the health outcomes of people with respiratory conditions. Comprehensive orientation, along with ongoing mentoring, training, and support, will be provided.
You will work with a diverse range of clients and carers across the lifespan within a multidisciplinary team in outpatient, community, and inpatient settings.
The position works collaboratively within a small multidisciplinary team and is based within the Primary and Community Health Team. Work hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00/8:30 am to 4:30/5:00 pm.

What you'll be doing
Substance use in Pregnancy & Parenting Services (SUPPS) is intended to provide substance dependent pregnant women with an appropriate specialist Alcohol & other Drug (AOD) outreach service. This will include a comprehensive
assessment, which identifies and supports specific treatments for their drug use.
Treatment may include, but not limited to, the appointment of a continuous care manager, counselling, pharmacotherapies and/or relapse prevention strategies.
Most families referred to SUPPS experience multiple challenges which are complex in nature and will require a holistic multidisciplinary approach. SUPPS aims to provide an assertive flexible model targeting the individual family's goals.
SUPPs aims to support women and their families to access specialist health services, early intervention services and improve access to community services such as parenting groups, housing.
About You
You are a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse with current registration through the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, supported by relevant postgraduate qualifications and extensive experience in specialist clinical practice. With a strong background in the assessment and management of substance use disorders, you are dedicated to delivering safe, evidence-based care to pregnant women experiencing alcohol and other drug-related issues, ensuring both maternal and infant wellbeing remain central to care planning.
You possess a comprehensive understanding of withdrawal management and contemporary opioid substitution treatments, including the regulatory frameworks that guide opioid treatment programs. Your advanced clinical knowledge allows you to effectively assess complex presentations, develop individualised care plans, and support consumers through all stages of treatment while promoting positive health outcomes.
As a respected clinician, you are committed to supporting the growth and development of others through mentorship, coaching, and the sharing of professional expertise. You lead by example, contributing to service improvements and clinical initiatives that enhance patient care, strengthen team capability, and support the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

About the role
As the Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) – Integrated Chronic Care for Aboriginal People (ICCAPP), you will provide high-level clinical expertise, leadership and consultancy to improve access to culturally appropriate chronic care services across the Mehi area. About you
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled clinician with a background in chronic care and/or diabetes who is passionate about improving health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
You will bring:
✅Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
✅At least 5 years full time equivalent post-registration experience, with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in the relevant specialty field.
✅An approved postgraduate nursing qualification relevant to the specialty.
✅Demonstrated clinical leadership and consultancy skills, with the ability to role model best practice.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Designated Radiologist, Clinical Coordinator, Consultant Surgeon and Pathologist to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to client care and maintain compliance with the National Accreditation Standards of BreastScreen Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in quality assurance activities as part of the BreastScreen program.
- Perform breast screening image reading and interpretation services.
- Provide assessment clinic services, including diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Perform stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary BreastScreen team to maintain high-quality screening and assessment services.
- Participate in accreditation activities and support compliance with National Accreditation Standards.
- Attend Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings and Clinical Advisory, Review and Education (CARE) meetings.
- Contribute to ongoing professional development and education activities as required under BreastScreen Australia standards.
Essential Requirements
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Radiologists.
- Current Medical Board registration with AHPRA.
- Current NSW EPA Radiation Licence.

About the Role
Are you graduating in Physiotherapy and ready to begin your career in a supportive, diverse and rewarding hospital environment? We have three full-time, fixed-term Grade 1 positions available as part of our 24-month rotating new graduate program. What You Will Do
As a New Graduate Physiotherapist, you will:
Provide evidence-based physiotherapy assessment, treatment and management for patients within your allocated clinical area
Develop your clinical reasoning and physiotherapy skills across a broad range of rotations
Work collaboratively with Physiotherapists, medical, nursing and other Allied Health professionals to deliver coordinated patient care
Communicate effectively with patients, families, carers and members of the multidisciplinary team
Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical handovers and care planning

What you'll be doing
Mid North Coast Integrated Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs (IMHAOD) will implement a new Emergency Mental Health & Addiction Assessment Team (EMHAART) service that provides safe and easily accessible pathways aimed at improving consumer outcomes and experiences. The service will provide advice, triage, initial assessment, and referral service to facilitate access to the appropriate mental health or substance use disorders (SUD) services for the people of MNCLHD across their lifespan. MNCLHD has a wide distribution of consumers that have challenges accessing services resulting in the need to refine and centralise ‘front-end’ 24/7 referral, access, and entry pathways as a priority to IMHAOD services.
This position will be working in a multi-disciplinary team to deliver MHAOD services to the consumers which include intake, triage and assessment as part of the EMHAART. Practice and promote safe, efficient and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.
To work collaboratively with other service providers/agencies to promote assertive and timely service delivery for clients in the provision of holistic evidence-based care in accordance with MNCLHD and Ministry of Health policies and directive.
About You
You are a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse with current registration through the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and a strong background in delivering high-quality care across outpatient and acute healthcare settings. You combine sound clinical knowledge with a patient-centred approach, ensuring consumers receive safe, timely, and effective care throughout their healthcare journey.
Your advanced assessment and clinical problem-solving skills enable you to confidently manage diverse and complex presentations, make informed decisions, and respond effectively to changing consumer needs. With a strong understanding of Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs (MHAOD) services, you are skilled in conducting frontline intake assessments, triage, and comprehensive consumer evaluations, supporting appropriate care pathways and positive clinical outcomes.

About the Role
Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist looking to make a real impact in community care? We’re seeking an enthusiastic clinician to join our innovative team, helping patients receive high-quality, person-centred care from the comfort of their own homes. We have an opportunity for a Grade 1 Occupational Therapist on a full- time, permanent basis (1.0 EFT / 80 hours per fortnight). Based across Kingston Centre (Heatherton) and Cranbourne sites.
In this role, you’ll provide best-practice, evidence-based care through face-to-face and/or Telehealth/telephone assessments and interventions for patients admitted to the service. You’ll work collaboratively with a supportive multidisciplinary team to ensure effective and compassionate. Your day-to-day will include:
- Providing high standard assessment, intervention, and coordination of services, aids, and equipment to deliver safe, effective, and person-centred care
- Contributing to the planning, development, and evaluation of evidence-based Occupational Therapy services

About Us
Monash at Home - Aged and Rehabilitation Care (ARC) is a dynamic service that delivers care to patients within their own home. The team consists of Medical, Nursing, Allied Health, Pharmacy, Psychology and Administration staff. We provide an alternative to inpatient care, providing safe and high quality home based services for individuals with complex medical, functional and cognitive issues, who require comprehensive, medically led multidisciplinary assessment and intervention within the comfort of their own home. We are a 40 bed services that covers the Monash Health catchment. Operating out of two sites, Kingston Centre (Heatherton) and Cranbourne, staff are required to work flexibly across both sites to meet patient needs.
Patients within the service receive daily nursing visits. Medical, allied health, neuropsychology, and pharmacy teams also provide face-to-face or Telehealth consultations, depending on individual needs. In addition, patients have access to 24-hour telephone support.

- Provide intensive care coordination and assertive outreach for a caseload of young people under 25 with severe and complex mental health needs, and their families.

- Deliver evidence-based interventions across individual, group and family contexts, in both outreach and clinic-based settings.

The Intensive Mobile Outreach Support (IMOS) Team sits within Monash Health's Infant, Child and Youth Area Mental Health & Wellbeing Service, part of the broader Mental Health Program covering the Casey, Cardinia, Greater Dandenong, Kingston and Monash local government areas. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing an assertive outreach model of care to children and adolescents under 25 who present with severe mental health problems, high risk factors, and difficulty engaging with mainstream mental health services. IMOS clinicians work collaboratively with schools, GPs, paediatricians and other community agencies to deliver shared, coordinated care.
The service prioritises meeting young people and their families in community settings of their choice, working within the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022, to provide recovery-oriented, evidence-based care tailored to consumer and carer needs.
