Men are dying too young - and it doesn't have to be that way.
Around the world, men are facing a health crisis: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and suicide. At Movember we're on a mission to change the face of men's health by making it easier for men to talk, act and live longer healthier lives.
Every project, every campaign, every idea adds up to real change. You'll be part of a moustache-powered crew who believe making an impact and having fun should go hand in hand. Your mission is calling.
DO GOOD. Work for Movember.
Your Mo-Mission (should you choose to accept it):
Men in Mind is Movember's evidence-based training program for mental health practitioners, building their capability to engage men effectively using gender-responsive, strengths-based approaches. Backed by a randomised controlled trial and established at scale across Australia, the program is now expanding into new international markets, and the evidence generated along the way is what determines whether and how it scales.
As Social Impact Manager, Men in Mind Mental Health, you'll lead the design, measurement, evaluation, and learning across the Men in Mind mental health program, with a focus on international markets currently including the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. You'll sit within the Health Systems Portfolio's dedicated Social Impact team, working closely alongside the Social Impact Manager responsible for the Australian primary care rollout, and you'll report to the Global Director, Social Impact.
The heart of this role is managing the pilot evaluations that gate scale decisions. In North America, funded partnerships begin with a pilot before a decision on wider rollout, and the evidence you generate is what makes that decision possible. You'll set the evaluation questions, agree the measures that need to hold across markets, commission and manage local evaluators in each market, and bring their findings together with Movember program data into one coherent account of what Men in Mind achieves in different health systems and national contexts.
Beyond evaluation management, you'll lead outcomes and impact measurement across the program, maintain the core dataset that allows results to be compared and combined across markets, and produce high-quality reports for partnership, executive, and board audiences. You'll translate complex data into accessible formats for a wide range of stakeholders, contribute to sector publications and conference presentations, and use evidence to drive continuous improvement in program design and delivery across markets.
Stakeholder relationships matter as much as the data. You'll build trusted working relationships with partner organisations, funded evaluators, government stakeholders, and sector partners across three international markets, embedding shared monitoring, evaluation, and learning practice and ensuring that what's learned in one market flows meaningfully into the others.
This is a role for someone who understands that rigorous, timely evaluation is not an administrative obligation but a strategic asset, and who is genuinely motivated by the prospect of using evidence to improve how mental health practitioners engage with men. Based in Melbourne, 12-month fixed term contract. Regular engagement across North American and European time zones is a core part of how this role operates.
No Moustache Required -but the following are:
At least five years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning, ideally within mental health, health promotion, workforce development, or not-for-profit sectors.
Demonstrated experience operationalising and managing monitoring, evaluation, and learning frameworks for complex, multi-site, or multi-market programs.
Demonstrated experience designing and delivering pilot evaluations where findings inform a decision about whether and how to scale.
Experience commissioning, briefing, and working with external evaluators or research providers, including reviewing deliverables and holding quality standards.
Strong quantitative and qualitative research and data analysis skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into accessible insight for diverse audiences including partners, senior leadership, and government stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience leading social impact workstreams and influencing without direct authority across cross-functional teams and external partners.
Well-developed stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills across all levels of an organisation and with external partners.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines across multiple markets simultaneously.
Cultural awareness and the ability to work effectively with partners across different health systems and national contexts.
Computer literacy including data visualisation tools and monitoring, evaluation, and learning platforms, and the ability to learn platforms such as Asana.
Flexibility to work across North American and European time zones.
A genuine passion for improving men's mental health outcomes through evidence-based program delivery.
Not Mission Critical- but for extra street cred:
Knowledge of men's health and of mental health practitioner training or workforce development.
Familiarity with implementation science concepts and their application to scale and sustainability decisions.
Familiarity with the health systems of Canada, the United States, or the United Kingdom.
Experience with data sharing, privacy, and ethics requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
Experience evaluating programs delivered with commercial, insurer, or philanthropic partners.
Experience measuring digital or direct-to-consumer learning products, including reach, completion, and revenue-related measures.
Relevant postgraduate qualifications in public health, evaluation, research, or a related discipline.
GOOD CAUSE:
Working for Movember, you'll help turn ideas (and moustaches) into millions for men's health. Every bit we raise changes the face of men's health by funding research, improving treatments, and supporting programs that help save lives
We're even shaping government policies on men's health worldwide. By meeting directly with lawmakers, and helping them understand how more investment on men's health benefits not just men, but all the communities they serve.
GOOD VIBES:
We love weekends. That's why our Fridays finish early for nine months of the year. But we also love our office vibe. Because here, it always feels like something big is about to happen. Be it an office-wide surprise birthday party (with cake!) or an open invite for all to hit the pub.
Come the hairy season, the energy cranks up. We're talking celebrity visits. Live stunts on-site for TV and radio. And when we hit a fundraising milestone, the office gong might even go off. But, for those who prefer calm, no probs: hybrid working means you work where you feel best.
GOOD CREW:
Spoiler alert: we're a no-ego, all-impact crew. That means everyone gets a say, from new starters to those leading the charge. Collaboration over hierarchies, curiosity over rigid process. And it's true across all our offices worldwide. We work as one, sharing expertise and celebrating wins. All in the name of making the biggest impact across the globe. United, we Mo.

Boy, do we know the feeling of being judged. (Over how we look, and other things that shouldn't matter.) Being different is how we started. And it's also helped us raise $1 billion for men's health. So, we know the power of diverse experiences, skills and perspectives.
And another impressive number is our WGEA gender pay gap: it sits at a big, fat, round 0%. If you've got the relevant skills and the right attitude, let nothing stand in your way of firing off your application.
Movember is stronger when Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are part of our crew. We want you to feel supported in exploring opportunities with us. That's why before applying, we invite you to yarn with Raymond Rosendale, Australian Indigenous Programs Manager, in a virtual catch-up to talk about the role, our community work, or just to share ideas.

Kinkaya is a purpose-built urgent care for kids and young adults in Innaloo, founded by two clinicians whose careers were built primarily in ED. We hire on what you can do - not on what you finished.
Who we are looking for. You're a GP. You started in ED. Some part of you is still there.
Perhaps you enjoy being a GP but miss certain aspects of ED - acuity, procedures, working in a team.
Your training path was probably non-linear. The reasons are yours - they're not something we'll ask you to justify, and they're not what we hire on.
What matters to us is what you can do at the bedside. The triage instincts you trained for years to build. The way you think about an undifferentiated patient. The procedures you used to do without thinking. We know it's easy to lose confidence in these skills when they haven't been practiced for a while. We also know they come back.
We recognise the unique value of clinicians with experience in both GP and ED environments. Kinkaya allows you to practice these complementary skill sets, while giving you the opportunity to refresh and renew ED and procedural skills that may have gotten a little dusty in your time away from the hospital environment.
We'reDrs Smriti Shah and Justin Withnall- two clinicians who worked primarily in ED before founding Kinkaya. We built it because we wanted to keep practicing the medicine we trained for, without the system that came with it. Whatever brought you from ED to GP, you'll find a team here with journeys not unlike your own.
Key criteria
To meet your unique needs and lifestyle.
Development & progressionInitiatives tailored to each team member.
Purpose-built facilitiesNew equipment & excellent team amenities.
What we offerYou'd use your full breadth - paediatrics, undifferentiated acuity, fractures, lacerations, procedures, the cases where someone has to make the call. This is not a GP practice with an x-ray machine. We offer on-site x-ray, pathology, a fracture clinic, paediatric-trained nurses, and paediatrician access. We have the infrastructure to follow up and finish each case, and a team that means you're not standing alone with a sick kid.
- On-site x-ray, daily
- On-site pathology
- Fracture clinic
- Paediatric-trained nurses
- Procedure-equipped rooms
We'd rather you come and try the work before you commit to anything.
