The ProgramOn joining the Program, you will be placed at one of our acute/rehabilitation Healthscope hospitals in a dedicated clinical area. You will be given supernumerary time to assist your transition along with a dedicated education program to develop all your acute skills. The program will run for 12 weeks and on completion, applicants will continue to access shifts through Healthscope's Victorian Casual Flexi Crew where you can experience working across a number of Healthscope hospitals and different clinical areas which will enable you to enhance and develop your nursing career. The position throughout the program is that of casual, with the potential for permanent part time positions after the program as available or you may wish to remain in a casual capacity.
To be able to participate in the program, applicants must attend all 6 study days, inclusive of Healthscope orientation and be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week across the 7 day roster - excluding night duty.

As a Mental Health Clinician your responsibilities will include:- Facilitate evidence based group therapy formental health concerns and addiction (CBT, Positive Psychology, DBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing etc.)
- Facilitate group therapy to patients with a broad range of moderate to severe psychopathology, including psychoeducation and skills based sessions
- Have strong risk assessment and safety planning skills
