What you’ll be doing
As an Enrolled Nurse in the casual pool, you will provide safe, compassionate, and professional nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. You’ll support patients and families, deliver high-quality care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary health team.
Provide direct nursing care within a plan of care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
Recognise and report changes in patient conditions, escalating concerns appropriately
Support patients with daily living activities to promote independence and comfort
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation to ensure safe and effective care
Communicate sensitively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to support continuity of care
Essential Requirements
Registration: Current Registration as an Enrolled Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated recent clinical experience relevant to the position.
Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own workload within the scope of practice of an Enrolled Nurse.
Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means; and sound interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with the multidisciplinary health care team.
An understanding of patient centred care and demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of the multi-disciplinary health care team.

What you'll be doing
The Assistant in Nursing (AIN) role assists in the provision of basic nursing care, working within a plan of care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) within a team setting. AIN’s are not to be allocated their own patients. AIN’s are not to be assigned patients where one to one therapeutic nursing supervision is prescribed.
The AIN is responsible for assisting in the delivery of quality individualised care to patients at The Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN) within the guidelines set by the NSW Department of Health, the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council Framework, The SCHN – Division of Nursing and within the limits of the AIN position description.

What you'll be doing

South East Regional Hospital is the regional referral centre for the expansive south coast regions from Bateman's Bay to Cooma and down past the Victorian border to Mallacoota. The state of the art hospital is equipped with 3 operating theatres, ICU, 5 inpatient wards and outpatient services. There is also a dedicated office for the Orthopaedic registrars as well as a shared JMO lounge. Rural unaccredited trainees will also be eligible to apply for scholarships through HETI to help with attending courses and conferences. Fully furnished shared accommodation is usually provided to registrars by the hospital.
What you'll be doing
The Orthopaedic Unaccredited Trainee is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Orthopaedic inpatients, providing an on-call service for SERH plus 3 surrounding hospitals within the health district. There is a good mix of elective and emergency operating with approximately 1200 operations performed annually. The unaccredited trainee will be responsible for the supervision the resident medical officer as well as rotating medical students from the ANU Medical School.
The Orthopaedic Department is staffed by 3 unaccredited trainee registrars and 1 AOA accredited trainee registrar with a regular 1 in 4 on-call rosters with occasional 1 in 3 on-calls during periods of leave. The well-supported unit allows unaccredited trainees to gain a well-rounded experience in Orthopaedics. The job allows registrars to rotate daily through being on-call, managing acute orthopaedic emergencies, elective and emergency operating lists and outpatient clinics. There are a wide range of educational activities on offer including regular journal clubs, weekly X-ray meetings, teaching, quarterly Morbidity and Mortality meetings and the opportunity to take on research projects. This position would suit both an experienced registrar looking to hone their operative skills with a view to apply for the AOA Training Program or a junior registrar looking for a well-balanced introduction into Orthopaedic Surgery.

What you'll be doing
WSLHD - Provisional Fellow – Maternal Fetal Medicine (Accredited)
The primary purpose of the position is to provide high quality obstetric and maternal and fetal medicine care in addition to gynaecological care to patients in a tertiary maternal fetal medicine unit. The goal during the RANZCOG advanced training program is to develop professional maturity and increased expertise in high risk obstetrics, maternal fetal medicine, tertiary obstetrics and gynaecological ultrasound The Provisional Fellow will work under the supervision of senior staff as approved by the RANZCOG subspecialty committee in MFM.
The Training Program
Westmead Hospital is an accredited training hospital for RANZCOG and Maternal Fetal Medicine training.

Westmead Hospital and secondment Hospitals, including but not limited to Westmead Private Hospital, Norwest Private Hospital, San Private Hospital, Auburn Hospital, Blacktown Hospital and Westmead Childrens Hospital.
Training Opportunities
The training opportunities available in the position of Provisional Fellow (Maternal Fetal Medicine Accredited) include:
• Development of ultrasound skills with a specific focus on Maternal Fetal Medicine.
• Education via regular structured and unstructured teaching and education
• Access to support for research, audits and patient safety and quality improvement projects.
• Development of skills in management of both inpatients and outpatients.
• Development of skills and knowledge specific to the treatment and care of women and families requiring specialist Maternal Fetal Medical care.
KEY OPPORTUNITIES:
• The accredited maternal fetal medicine fellow position is accredited for training in CMFM, RANZCOG.
• The position is most suited for a trainee accepted into the RANZCOG CMFM fellow training program. A trainee not accredited with the RANZCOG CMFM trainee program may be considered for this position and will be provided with the opportunity to gain the experience required to apply for CMFM training.
• Westmead MFM service is the largest tertiary referral center in the state of NSW and has opportunities for fetal procedures as well as management and follow through of patients with complex fetal anomalies referred for ongoing care that will be delivered at Westmead Hospital and subsequently transferred to Children’s Hospital.
• The hospital also provides care to many complex maternal medical conditions in pregnancy through dedicated antenatal clinics.
• There is close liaison with maternal medicine services providing opportunity to learn from renal, hematology, cardiology and various other services who work as part of an MDT Team.
• The role provides opportunity to discuss in depth outcomes on fetal anomalies in monthly surgical meetings with pediatric surgeons.
• Fortnightly genetics sessions to discuss management and care of genetic conditions, fetal syndromes with our expert geneticists.
• Access to training and performing over 150 fetal diagnostic procedures amniocentesis, chorionic villous sampling, fetal transfusion, amnioreduction, fetal cavity aspiration and shunt placement.
• Access to statewide perinatal pathology unit at Westmead Children’s Hospital.
• There is ongoing opportunity of new research on various MFM topics with support of onsite statistician and research staff dedicated to MFM services.
Orientation
Hospital Orientation occurs at the beginning of each term for all doctors new to the individual hospital.
The department of O&G provides an orientation manual to all medical staff working in the department.
For Hospital Orientation most hospital programs include similar features. Included are examples of topics covered in orientation at each hospital. Hospital Orientation covers the following: Hospital Tour, RSU services (pay, timesheets etc), Medico legal issues, Occupational Health and Safety, Pharmacy, Deteriorating patient and medical emergency calling system, Death Certificates and Cremation Certificates, Computer access, Teaching schedule, Infection control, Patient Flow.
Supervision Arrangements
The Provisional Fellow (Maternal Fetal Medicine Accredited) is supervised by the training supervisors and the other consultants as indicated.

What you'll be doing
The primary purpose of the Basic Physician Trainee (BPT) is to provide effective medical services to patients under supervision, while developing expertise in medical practice in a complex clinical environment in inpatient and outpatient areas in the public health organisations within the Network.
Basic Physician Training roles consist of rotations through medical departments, working under an appropriate level of supervision by consultants. Rotations have different levels of responsibility and team structures. BPTs will gain increasing clinical autonomy and accountability as team leaders throughout the course of the three-year training program, building on their skills and attributes with the goal of entering an Advanced Training program.
BPTs undertaking the care of medical patients should ensure that they operate within their own level of expertise within a collaborative clinical care model and to seek consultation with the treating physician when appropriate, in the following activities:
- Clinically assess patients, incorporating consultation/history taking, examination, and formulation of a differential diagnosis and management plans
- Discuss diagnoses and management plans with patients and their families or carers
- Document the progress of patients in multiple settings
- Prescribe medications tailored to patients’ needs and conditions
- Transfer care of patients
- Choose, organise and interpret investigations
- Assess and manage acutely unwell patients
- Plan, prepare for, perform, and provide after care for important procedures
- MBBS or equivalent, current general registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- This role requires eligibility for or current registration as a Basic Physician Trainee with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) and intent to obtain Fellowship of the RACP. What is your current RACP status?
- Demonstrated recent relevant experience in clinical medicine and ability to work in a complex clinical environment with proven ability to apply clinical knowledge and concepts in practical situations. (Limit response to 1500 characters)

Tamworth is a city of 60,000 with a great selection of pubs and cafes. We are part of the Hunter New England Local Health District which stretches from the NSW coast to the Queensland border. We are the referral centre for the region providing trauma and critical care services for over 15 rural hospitals. The ED sees 45,000 presentations annually across a broad range of all specialties and age groups. ICU is a 12 bed unit including a 4 bed HDU and admits approximately 950 patients a year of which 30% are ventilated. Both ED and ICU receive patients from rural sites retrieved by the local Westpac Helicopter Retrieval Service which has a base in Tamworth. Critical Care Unaccredited Trainees/ SRMOs can complete ACEM’s Emergency Medicine Certificate over the year. ED is accredited with RACGP and ACRRM for advanced skills in Emergency Medicine.

What you'll be doing
The primary purpose of the SRMO in the Emergency Department is to provide clinical care, under appropriate supervision, to patients requiring emergency medical services in a complex clinical environment. This position will provide experience in a critical care environment and have responsibilities and opportunities for autonomous practice commensurate with the level of experience of the incumbent.
Rotations to Anaesthetics and ICU are available with all rotations accredited by the relevant specialist College. This position meets the ED placement requirement for selection into the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) training program and the Provisional Training / Training Stage 1 requirements of the ACEM training program.
The position is suitable for trainees of other specialties seeking critical care experience including RACGP and ACRRM trainees and supports the completion of the Emergency Medicine Certificate (EMC) and Emergency Medicine Diploma (EMD) through ACEM. It is also suitable for those who are not enrolled in a training program with regular protected education and professional development support provided to all SRMOs.
*Critical Care rotations will be offered to the top 4 successful applicants. All other successful applicants will be offered 12months of Emergency Medicine. An elist is created for any future rotational opportunities that may become available. Further information regarding these rotations will be provided to the applicant at the interview.
*Applicants must provide evidence upon commencement they have completed two full years of prevocational training.

Emergency Medicine Training Network:
The Central Coast is part of the Emergency Medicine Network 2 Training Program for Advanced Trainees. Gosford & Wyong Emergency Departments are educationally networked for training with ACEM and offer a comprehensive education programme contributing to Primary exam preparation & Fellowship preparation. All trainees (including Unaccredited) have access to paid rostered non-clinical time. CCLHD Emergency Trainees have achieved excellent results in both Primary and Fellowship exams, with a very high pass rate and a number of medal winners for top mark. Both Gosford and Wyong Emergency Departments are ACEM accredited for 36 months training time (including stage 4).
The NSW Central Coast is located only 1 hour north of Sydney CBD. The NWRH Operating Theatre is a vibrant, supportive team consisting of four operating theatres providing Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, General Surgery, ENT, Endoscopy and Dental services. The Role
The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) in the Perioperative Theatre at North West Regional Hospital is accountable for applying nursing expertise and contemporary teaching and learning practice to implement education programs for nurses that align with the strategic priorities of Hospitals North West, respond to emerging clinical need and facilitates professional development for the nursing workforce.
- Leads safe and quality nursing care through the advancement of evidence-based nursing practice and patient-centred care in an area of clinical and professional speciality.
- Applies high level professional and clinical expertise in collaboration with nursing, midwifery and multidisciplinary stakeholders to enact education and development strategies for nursing and midwifery practice and the Organisation.
- Plans, assesses, implements and evaluates educational programs to ensure they align with the needs of the Organisation and nursing workforce.

The Team
The Child Health and Parenting Service (CHaPS) provides important health and wellbeing services to families across Tasmania with children aged 0 to 5. The service promotes the healthy development and wellbeing of children, providing growth and developmental assessments, health-focused early intervention, referrals and connections with other early childhood providers.
The CHaPS Residential Parenting Unit (lilinga) supports early intervention and support to families to navigate the adjustments and broad range of challenges that can arise during early parenting, equipping them with the confidence, knowledge and tools needed to support family wellbeing.
lilinga means Tasmanian Myrtle Beech (Nothofagus cunninghamii) in palawa kani, the language of Tasmanian Aborigines.
The Role
The lilinga Clinical Nurse Specialist ensures delivery of comprehensive care to admitted families, working alongside the multidisciplinary team. The Clinical Nurse Specialist develops, implements, and evaluates care plans in partnership with families, with a focus on early parenting challenges, infant sleep, family and parenting routines and communications, and infant/toddler mental health and wellbeing.
You will need
- Demonstrated experience and/or qualification in early parenting support, along with a strong understanding of primary healthcare principles.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team, and form strong partnerships with families, to provide integrated and co-ordinated care.
- Expertise in evidence-based primary healthcare interventions relevant to infant/toddler behaviours, infant sleep, infant mental health, and responsive parenting practices.

Position details
The Team
Outpatient Services encompass a wide range of medical treatment, procedures and consultations that do not necessarily require a hospital admission. The Outpatient Services cares for patients from the North and the Northwest of Tasmania, for diagnosis, treatment or follow-up and the patient can return home after their appointment. Offers high-quality health services and plays a central role in achieving convenience, and cost-efficiency services.
- To work with the wider health care professionals within the Tasmanian Health Service and consumers.
- Provide efficient clerical support in making appointments.
- Receive direction from the Practice Manager and Nurse Unit Managers of Specialist Clinic.
- All our services work closely together to focus on delivering excellence in healthcare to achieve improved outcomes for our consumers, our workforce, and the Tasmanian community.
The Role
- Register referrals accurately and efficiently.
- Schedule and coordinate appointments.
- Provide professional telephone and administrative support.
You will need
- Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
- The ability to interact professionally, courteously, and effectively with healthcare professionals, consumers, and the broader community.

Details of appointment
Permanent part time, day worker position, working 16 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you can join us.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary
$68,854 to $73,947 pro rata per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2025.

The Role
Join the Specialist Clinics team at Launceston General Hospital and play an important role in supporting the delivery of quality patient care.
As a Patient Services Officer, you will provide efficient reception and administrative support within a busy outpatient environment. You will be the first point of contact for patients, families, clinicians and external service providers, ensuring a professional, responsive and customer-focused service at all times.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will assist with appointment scheduling, patient administration, medical record management and a range of clerical functions that contribute to the smooth operation of Specialist Clinics.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide reception and clerical services within Specialist Clinics.
- Manage and maintain computerised appointment scheduling systems.
- Provide confidential patient reception and information services.
- Receive patients attending appointments and accurately enter information into relevant systems.
- Coordinate the receipt and return of patient records in accordance with medical record management standards.
- Communicate effectively with staff, patients and external service providers to support patient care.
- Participate in data collection, reporting and quality improvement activities.
- Assist with the training and support of new Patient Services Officers when required.

Skills and Experience

The role
The Day Procedure Unit at Launceston General Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to support workforce development and clinical excellence. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, delivering and evaluating education programs that strengthen clinical capability, support evidence based practice and promote high quality patient care. Working collaboratively with the Nurse Unit Manager and multidisciplinary teams, the position contributes to professional development, quality improvement initiatives and a culture of continuous learning across the service.

Staff work closely across disciplines to provide a seamless patient experience from admission through to discharge. You will be working across a broad scope of general orthopaedic practice; the Orthopaedic Service at Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital encourages collaboration and collegiate relationships across multi-disciplinary teams ensuring the best service delivery. We are seeking an Unaccredited Trainee who is eager to develop professional skills to put them on the path of progressing to Accredited Orthopaedic Training.
With 348 treatment spaces, we are the major Rural Referral Hospital to the North West of NSW. We conduct over 9000 surgical procedures per annum over 5 theatre spaces; with the new facility boasting an additional 3 theatre rooms which have been built for future growth.

What you'll be doing
The primary purpose of the role is to provide effective clinical management of orthopaedic patients, under appropriate supervision, whilst developing expertise in medical practice, in a complex clinical environment. The unaccredited trainee is the key person who works closely with all members of a multi-disciplinary team and deals with matters of an urgent or sensitive nature, whilst exercising discretion, sensitivity and maintaining confidentiality.
Decision making and supervision will be at the appropriate level according to the unaccredited trainee’s skills, knowledge and experience. They will be expected to adopt a progressively more independent approach to patient management according to their experience, under the guidance of and at the discretion of the appropriate Attending Medical Officer (AMO). All patients managed within the hospitals of the health service are under the direct care of a specialist medical practitioner. All decisions regarding a patient’s care are to be clearly communicated with the specialist responsible for that care.
Qualifications - External
- MBBS or equivalent, current general registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Drivers licence in order to provide service between hospitals and out of hours.
- Minimum of 3 years post graduate experience at commencement of post, with minimum 1 year experience in Orthopaedics.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) with patients, their families, medical and non-medical colleagues; Demonstrates ability to provide empathetic and expert clinical care
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team as shown by diligence, punctuality, organisational/ record keeping, empathy, team work, time management and a professional manner, within a supervised complex clinical environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to the Orthopaedic Training Program with evidence of continuing professional development and self-education, and teaching undergraduate and postgraduates

Epworth Rehabilitation has an exciting part-time fixed term opportunity for a Grade 1 Social Worker looking to further develop their clinical skills and healthcare experience within a leading hospital setting. The role is based at Epworth Hawthorn in the area of multi-trauma orthopaedic rehabilitation and is a fixed term position of 30.4 hours per week until November 2027.
The successful applicant will provide excellence in patient care to patients and their families. Clinical responsibilities will include undertaking comprehensive psychosocial assessments, delivering patient and family support, navigating compensable systems such as the TAC and WorkCover, and coordinating safe and effective discharge planning within a multidisciplinary team.
