About the Department / Program
Monash Health Pharmacy is a diverse and dynamic team of over 500 professionals. We work across seven hospitals and community settings, delivering best-practice pharmacy services and supporting career development through structured rotations, mentoring, and leadership opportunities.
About the Role
Join our team as a Rotational Pharmacist on a part-time or full-time ongoing basis.
Working across Monash Health sites, you will rotate through a range of pharmacy practice areas and work as part of multidisciplinary teams to provide safe, patient-centred pharmacy care.
The role provides opportunities to broaden your hospital pharmacy experience while contributing to education, quality improvement and research activities.
Key responsibilities include
- Deliver best practice, patient-centric clinical pharmacy care to optimise medication safety, clinical outcomes and ensure patient flow.
- Provide medication management expertise to multidisciplinary teams, contributing to safe, effective and evidence-based treatment decisions.
- Support education, training and professional development of pharmacy interns, students and pharmacists by delivering supervision and teaching.
- Participate in rostered shifts including rotating rosters, weekends and public holidays, in line with the service requirements.
- Work flexibly across all sites as required, including travel to other Monash Health locations
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Previous hospital pharmacy experience is desirable.

What you'll be doing
Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick, part of the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network, is seeking the services of a paediatrician to provide short periods of leave relief to rural paediatricians across NSW. Just over half of the time will be spent in rural NSW, with the remainder of the time linked with the General Paediatric Department of the successful applicant’s choice of one of the Children’s Hospitals in NSW. The “back to base” time is flexible and can be negotiated to complement the successful applicant’s interests and skills and support their professional development.
This is a 0.5 FTE temporary Staff Specialist position, for two years with the option to extend for a further two years pending performance review.
Successful applicants will provide excellent clinical services to children and their families as part of a multi-disciplinary team. They will participate in review and improvement activities, as well as training and education of staff. The General Medicine department at Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick are seeking 2 x 0.5 FTE (20 hours per week) Staff Specialists to join their team. What you'll be doing
Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick, part of the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network, is seeking the services of a paediatrician to provide short periods of leave relief to rural paediatricians across NSW. Just over half of the time will be spent in rural NSW, with the remainder of the time linked with the General Paediatric Department of the successful applicant’s choice of one of the Children’s Hospitals in NSW. The “back to base” time is flexible and can be negotiated to complement the successful applicant’s interests and skills and support their professional development.
This is a 0.5 FTE temporary Staff Specialist position, for two years with the option to extend for a further two years pending performance review.
Successful applicants will provide excellent clinical services to children and their families as part of a multi-disciplinary team. They will participate in review and improvement activities, as well as training and education of staff. Successful applicants will be expected to abide by the hospital code of conduct and participate in annual performance reviews for clinical services in accordance with the Staff Specialist (State) Award.

About the role

Key responsibilities

Replenish ward and department imprest stock to agreed levels using the inventory management system.
Pick, pack, and distribute stock and equipment accurately and efficiently to hospital departments.

Coordinate urgent deliveries, supplier returns, and direct site deliveries to support operational requirements.
Ensure the stores, receiving areas, and stock locations are maintained in a safe, organised, and compliant manner.

Your skills and experience
To excel in this role, you will bring strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. You will be a collaborative team player who can follow direction, manage competing priorities, and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment. A current Driver's Licence and Forklift Licence are essential.
You will possess strong attention to detail, sound numerical and computer skills, and the ability to accurately manage stock, inventory, and data entry processes. In addition, you will be comfortable using inventory systems and computers to support efficient warehouse and distribution operations.
This is a physically active role requiring the ability to safely undertake a range of manual handling and logistics activities. This includes pushing trolleys laden with goods, operating forklifts and motorised pallet movers, using manual pallet trolleys, lifting and moving furniture and equipment, climbing ladders to store and retrieve stock, driving, loading and unloading delivery vehicles, and gowning appropriately when entering sterile areas.

- Contribute to ongoing service improvement and clinical and workforce innovation to ensure Monash Health provides high quality accessible General Paediatric Services within allocated resources and meets the needs of Monash Health patients.
- Supervise junior medical staff as rostered.
0.14 EFT (5 hours per week, 10 hours per fortnight).
There are 4 positions available. 2 positions aligned to Team A and 2 to Team B. The 5 hours per week are averaged over a 4 week rolling roster of 1 x 3h session 0900-1200 per week, 3 of which will be as inpatient support consultant and 1 of which will be a general paediatric outpatient clinic and one weekend of a 3h support consultant shift on Saturday and Sunday 0900 – 1200.
Educational opportunities include a regular Tuesday General Paediatrics Team Meeting at 12:30 – 13:30, weekly radiology meetings, Grand Round presentations, and resident/student teaching if desired.
About You
What you need:
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Appropriate health professional tertiary qualifications (FRACP or equivalent)
- Working with Children's Certificate
- Recent/substantial experience in both General Paediatric and Neonatal management.
- Experience in HITH is desirable

About the Role

Your role at St John of God Subiaco Hospital
As Pharmacy Technician, you will assist in the provision of pharmacy services to patients, external organisations, and other hospital caregivers by providing technical support to pharmacists.
The role is offered on a Permanent full-time basis, working 38 hours per week
The Position:
Prepare, label, record and assist in the sterile compounding of medications, including cytotoxic drugs and total parenteral nutrition, under pharmacist supervision.
Manage ordering, receipt, storage and inventory control of pharmaceuticals and consumables, ensuring correct stock rotation and expiry checking across wards and departments.
Support dispensing, imprest distribution and delivery of pharmaceuticals—including restricted and Schedule 8 medicines—while maintaining accurate records and reports.
Assist with quality assurance, statistical reporting, charging processes, recycling of returned medicines and recovery of owing prescriptions.
Maintain pharmacy operations through equipment cleaning, extemporaneous manufacturing, emergency cupboard management, reception support and relief in senior technician roles as required.
You will be familiar with the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme and dispensing procedures. You will also be familiar with or be prepared to undertake training on preparation of cytotoxic medications.
To succeed you will have well developed verbal and written communication skills and a knowledge of medication terminology. You will have excellent time management skills and the ability to work unsupervised to meet deadlines. You will be required to demonstrate attention to detail, instructions and work procedures with the ability to document accurately and neatly.
Possession of or progress towards Certificate IV Medical Technicians and Assistants (Pharmacy) or equivalent will be highly regarded.
