Your part in The Wesley Hospital
You will be accountable for the provision of safe and holistic care to individuals and their families, applying best clinical practice and ensuring a safe environment for optimal patient outcomes. You’ll deliver exceptional person-centred care by working collaboratively with your multidisciplinary team, applying exceptional communication and customer service skills.

The Royal Hospital for Women is a multi-faceted tertiary referral and teaching hospital, internationally recognised as one of the world’s leading centres for the care of mothers, babies, and women with benign gynaecological and gynae-oncology conditions. Part of the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD), the hospital is co-located with other major facilities on the Randwick Hospitals Campus—one of the State’s most comprehensive health care precincts. Ideally situated between the University of New South Wales and Coogee Beach, The Royal Hospital for Women is just 15 minutes from Sydney’s Central Business District and harbour. The Role
The Neonatal Division Nursing Co-Director (along with the Medical Co-Director) is jointly responsible and accountable for achieving the day to day operational management of the Neonatal Division. These will be achieved in accordance with the policies of NSW Health, SESLHD, RHW, and other relevant legislative and statutory bodies.
The Co-Directors will provide vision and leadership in the Division and will foster excellence in the delivery of clinical services, corporate responsibilities, and in teaching and research.
The Co-Directors will together direct the day to day clinical and corporate activities of the Division consistent with Hospital objectives through a structure that facilitates participatory management with department heads and senior managers, decentralisation of decision-making, and teamwork in the provision of clinical services.
The Co-Directors will be required to represent and promote the hospital through participation on committees and professional bodies as required.
This role represents a collaborative partnership with the Medical Clinical Co-Director. Whilst the Neonatal Division Medical and Nursing Clinical Co-Directors have different time commitments to the co-directorship, both Co-Directors are jointly accountable for forming a partnership to plan, co-ordinate and deliver the clinical services of the Division.
The Co-Directors will be responsible for key activities in the following functional areas:
- Clinical / healthcare practice
- Quality, safety and clinical effectiveness
- Service planning, leadership & management
- Human resource management
- Financial management
- Research, training and educational development

Selection Criteria:
- Current Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)
- Relevant post graduate qualifications or working towards same, with demonstrated senior leadership experience in a critical care or neonatal environment with senior operational management expertise.
- Sound knowledge of contemporary clinical practice, critical care / neonatal intensive care models of care, with demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire staff to achieve service and professional goals.
- Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills with proven mediation, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Experience in financial management, including cost centre management and staffing profiles and the ability to develop financial strategies and achieve goals.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effective change management strategy, identify stakeholders and engage all in process to achieve desired outcome.
- Demonstrated experience in and commitment to quality improvement and risk management.

About the Role
You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. It is one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history of serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. The role involves coordinating and managing a randomised controlled trial of oral misoprostol for cervical ripening. Responsibilities will include participant screening, recruitment and follow-up; coordination of trial activities; liaison with investigators, the Human Research Ethics Committee and research governance; maintenance of trial documentation; and oversight of data collection, quality and entry. The successful applicant will also have opportunities to contribute to the analysis, interpretation and dissemination of study findings, including co-authorship of publications arising from the trial.
This position is 16 hours per week, worked during business hours across two to four days per week. Working days are negotiable, with a preference for availability on at least one day between Monday and Wednesday.

Ideal Candidate
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife (Division 1) with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation.

Alfred Health and Monash Health have established a formal partnership to deliver a Shared Pathology Service as one of three new pathology networks for metropolitan Melbourne. Now Recruiting - Victorian Cancer Biobank: Monash Heath Node Coordinator (1-Year Fixed-Term, 1.0 EFT)
Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Tissue Bank, including the supervision of the collection, processing, storage, retrieval, preparation and distribution of human biological specimens submitted to the Tissue Bank. The role will involve managing employees and liaising with physicians, surgeons, pathologists, ward and theatre nursing staff, medical laboratory scientists, biobank staff across the consortium, and researchers. Your part in our Buderim Hospital team
As a Cardiac Radiographer within the Cath Lab, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of high-quality diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. You will:
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Be responsible for operating advanced fluoroscopic and radiographic imaging equipment to support procedures such as coronary angiograms, angioplasties, pacemaker insertions, structural heart interventions, and vascular studies.
- You will ensure the delivery of precise, real-time imaging to assist cardiologists and vascular surgeons in decision-making and patient care.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols, clinical governance, and quality assurance standards is essential.
- Provide patient preparation and support, image acquisition and archiving, and equipment troubleshooting.
- This position requires strong technical proficiency, a commitment to patient-centered care, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
What makes a difference for us?
- Bachelor of Applied Science - Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Medical Radiation Practitioner
- 2+ years experience as a Radiographer
- Prior experience in a Cath Lab, vascular or interventional radiology is highly valued, though training opportunities may be available for motivated candidates.
- Knowledge of and proficiency in interventional radiography particularly cardiac, vascular and pain desirable
- Possess a licence to use irradiating apparatus
- Experience using Siemens and/or Phillips equipment

We are seeking a Group Admissions Support Officer to Provide high-quality customer service to assist patients with online admissions, process patient registrations, confirm eligibility of adequate health cover and provide informed financial consent, as well as work closely with hospitals to ensure process are completed in a timely manner prior to the patient’s admission.
The role is offered on a permanent, part-time basis, working 24 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients accessing online admissions, registrations and pre-admission services.
Assist patients with online admissions, informed financial consents and general enquiries via phone and email.
Manage inbound and outbound communications, resolving patient queries, complaints and escalations in a professional and timely manner.
Process patient registrations, demographic updates and pre-admissions accurately within WebPAS and other relevant systems.
Complete private health insurance eligibility checks and informed financial consents, ensuring compliance and financial accuracy.
Liaise with health funds, medical practitioners, hospital caregivers and external stakeholders to resolve enquiries and support patient admissions.
Prepare quotations for uninsured and self-funded patients, and coordinate approvals for Workers Compensation, TAC and other insurers.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining strong relationships with hospitals, clinicians and patients to deliver outstanding service outcomes.
Your skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience delivering exceptional customer service and administrative support, ideally within a healthcare environment. You will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build positive relationships with patients, families, medical practitioners and hospital staff while providing compassionate and professional support.
You will be highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities, analyse information, solve problems and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and patient administration systems, together with a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail, are essential.
You will also demonstrate empathy, professionalism and flexibility, with the ability to work across a variety of shifts and weekends as required. Previous hospital experience and knowledge of private health insurance, health fund eligibility requirements and healthcare funding arrangements will be highly regarded.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?
Although the role location or clinical service area may change, the skills required remain the same.

You will use your full range of skills as a Registered Nurse or Midwife in various settings and sites across the Network to deliver patient centred care.

You will be responsible for working collaboratively within a team of like-minded professionals to deliver such services in a timely and safe manner.

You will ensure that all clinical guidelines and practices are applied whilst managing the needs of the patients

WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW/WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR SUCCESS?
Working in this environment, it is important to us that we only employ people with the upmost integrity and commitment to serving the South Australian community and its visitors to the highest possible standards.
