We offer rewarding work, and a variety of flexible full-time and part-time roles supporting great work-life balance. Our full-time salary packages range from $279,438 to $291,080, with additional financial and lifestyle benefits you don't find in many GP practices.
In Addition, Our GP salary package includes:
- 4 weeks of annual leave per year (including 17.5% leave loading)
- 10 days personal leave per year
- 12% superannuation
Our GPs also have access to additional benefits:

As a key member of the ATSICHS Brisbane team, the ATSICHS Housingservice(NgumpieUruue)deliversa range of housingsupportsto Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families. One service is the Mari-Mari-Ba crisis accommodation facility for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and children. The centre hosts 33 self-contained units in one location. The Overnight Support Workerresponds to resident crisis and managesthe needs and supports ofresident'safter-hours. The rolehas aself-contained unit (andbed)for all shifts, andoperatesunder an on-callarrangement, responding when residentsrequireassistanceor support.
Duties
- Effectively responds to safety concerns of residents in a prompt and respectful manner,in accordance withATSICHS policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate notes to ensure a smooth and informed handover to daytime staff, compile detailed reports on nightly activities and any irregularities, and liaise with relevant external parties such as police, other hostels, and homeless shelters as necessary to support client needs and service coordination.
- Providetimelyand professional responses toresident requestsin accordance withorganisational policies and procedures. Be readily available throughout the shift to support residents, engage with new arrivals toestablishrapport and a sense of safety,maintainregular contact with existing residents to build positive relationships, and actively contribute to program development activities.
- Develop a 'Client Safety Plan' together, ensuring clear actions aredocumented and approved by line-Manager. Ensure at a minimum Safety Plans are completed inallinstances of domestic and family violence, self-harm/mental health,andchild abuse.
- Maintainaccurateand detailed case notes of all client interactions, ensuring case notes are written from the perspective of clients in their voice.
- Contributeassistancewith administrative tasks as directed by the Housing Manager/Team Leader.
- As perMOBnetPerformance module,participatein monthly prescheduled supervision with direct line Manager. Ensure Supervision tasks are the priority in work completion. Ensure all associated monthly supervision tasks inMOBnetare completed (two-way feedback, team culture score etc).

Demonstrated experience in working sensitively with women and children.

Working within the IUIH model of care, you will be required to:
- Provide clinical services to clients and appropriate clinical care including biomechanical, general care, surgery, diabetic foot care, paediatric, community education and provision of orthotics and appropriate footwear
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of health care professionals including allied health, GPs, Aboriginal Health Workers, Care Coordinators and more.
- Liaise with health professionals including General Practitioners on patient care and provide reports to referring GPs in accordance with Medicare requirements
- Ensure information is recorded accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic health record system, and that records are maintained in accordance with AGPAL standards
- Ensure maintenance of privacy and confidentiality in relation to client information

Duties
- Provide skilled health assessment, diagnosis and treatment services to clients.
- Understanding of the principles of primary health care and the ability to work with a wide variety of professionals and the public, as part of a team.

- Demonstrated clinic experience, in particular the ability to implement and support a medical/primary health care team and effectively plan and coordinate own and teams workload to achieve results.
- Competence in the use of clinical software systems and other technology, the internet and desktop applications e.g. Outlook, Mmex, LogiQC, Word, spreadsheets and telehealth software.
- Commit to ongoing continuous quality improvement processes with annual reviews into the efficiency of service provision.
- Operate within Clinical Policy and Procedures at all times.
- Effective communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal to ensure medical documentation is of quality.
- Cultivate productive working relationships at all levels, which support the nurturing of internal and external relationships, facilitates cooperation, trust and respect, values differences and diversity and guides, mentors and focuses on the development of staff.

About the roleAs Practice Manager, your role is responsible for the overall management ensuring the delivery of efficient and effective comprehensive primary health care services in the Moreton ATSICHS clinics to clients, in line with the IUIH Model of Care. The scope of the position includes business planning, administration, financial management, leadership, and oversight of health service quality and safety to meet the key performance indicators and maximizing Medicare. Your day to day duties may include:
- Provide leadership for your multidisciplinary team in the delivery of efficient, effective and responsive health services.
- Contribute to community promotions and engagement strategies that include local marketing, sponsorship and alliances to build and maintain patient loyalty and return rates.
- Ensure the Clinic delivers quality treatment and meets agreed health Service Agreement commitments to clients.
- Ensure all new staff participate in a comprehensive program of induction, including orientation to sites, MATSICHs extended services, each of the partner organisations, and to urban Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, culture and communities.
- Work closely with the MATSICHS Operations Manager to review, monitor and improve systems against agreed indicators (i.e. identify gaps in business processes and service delivery, and formulate responses to address these)
To perform this role, it is essential that the incumbent is an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person. It is therefore a genuine occupational requirement under section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991
- Current Criminal History Check.
- Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD).
- Current Working with Children's Check (Qld Blue Card).
- Current Disability Worker Screening Check (Qld Yellow Card).
- Current CPR Certificate.
- Qualification in Business, Management, Health, Nursing and/ or Allied Health.
