Program Manager- Homelessness, Mental Health & AOD
- Competitive salary package
- Permanent Full-time position
- Waitara/Hornsby location
Lead. Inspire. Make a difference.
CatholicCare is growing, and this is an exciting opportunity to join our Homelessness service at an important time in its development.
We're looking for a Program Manager who brings strong knowledge of homelessness, mental health and AOD, a passion for quality practice and the ability to support and inspire a team of Caseworkers, providing practice leadership, supervision and mentoring while helping shape a strong, connected and outcomes-focused service.
This is more than a team leadership role. It's an opportunity to influence practice, build capability and help strengthen the way we support people experiencing homelessness and mental health challenges.
This is a permanent full-time role based in Hornsby and requires the incumbent to be office based for the first 6 months. After successful completion of the probation period, there will be an option to work from home.
About the Role
As a Program Manager, you'll provide day-to-day practice leadership to a team supporting individuals and families experiencing homelessness and housing instability, often facing intersecting challenges including mental health, alcohol and other drug (AOD) issues, family violence, and other complex needs.
You'll bring your specialist knowledge to complex situations, helping the team develop practical, person-centered responses that build stability, safety and wellbeing.
You will work closely alongside other Program Managers within our Homelessness portfolio. Through collaboration, shared leadership and a commitment to continuous improvement, you will contribute to the development of best practice approaches that support high-quality service delivery for people experiencing homelessness and complex, intersecting needs.
