About the role:

We have four positions available for experienced and dynamic dentists to join our Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) Team. Commencing in January 2026, this is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic surgical team where you'll gain exposure to a wide range of complex and varied clinical cases. Your responsibilities will include:

• Working under the direction of our senior staff in the delivery of oral and maxillofacial surgery. services, including as primary operator in dentoalveolar surgery.
• Screening and triaging referrals to the OMS Unit.
• Providing patient education and liaise with other specialties within the hospital's referral pathways.
• Providing necessary post surgical aftercare and follow up.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• An interest in dentoalveolar surgery, wanting to pursue specialist training in OMS.
• Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration and current working with children card.
• Experience in treating a variety of patients including children, special needs, and those with complex medical histories.
• An excellent communicator, highly organised and thorough, with high attention to detail.
• Two years ofsurgical experience post graduation ispreferred but not essential for the right applicant.
