About the role

The Paediatric General Surgery Registrar contributes to the delivery of high-quality surgical services to inpatient and outpatient paediatric patients across WCHN. The role provides broad exposure to emergency, elective and ambulatory paediatric surgery, including participation in after-hours and remote on-call services. Working under Consultant supervision, the Registrar develops advanced clinical skills while contributing to teaching, research, quality improvement and multidisciplinary patient care. Opportunities may also exist to provide paediatric surgical services at Flinders Medical Centre.

Key duties of the role

• Provide safe and effective surgical care for paediatric inpatients and outpatients, including pre-operative assessment and post-operative management.
• Participate in emergency after-hours and remote on-call rosters to support paediatric surgical services.
• Maintain high-quality clinical records, documentation and patient management plans.
• Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, supervision of junior medical staff and departmental education activities.
• Participate in research, clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives to support best practice patient care.

Skills and Experience

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with General Registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
• Broad knowledge of surgical practice and a commitment to developing paediatric surgical expertise.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and contribute positively within a team environment.

What You'll Be Doing

As an RN3 Nurse Consultant, you'll carry a continuing care caseload of adults living with complex and enduring mental health conditions across the northern Adelaide metropolitan region. Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing clinical leadership, assessment, and evidence-informed care coordination for community-based consumers
• Developing and reviewing individualised recovery-focused care plans in partnership with consumers, families, and carers
• Offering clinical consultation and guidance to less experienced team members, contributing to a supportive and learning-oriented team culture
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in line with NALHN and SA Health standards and mental health legislation requirements

What You Bring

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA, with demonstrated post-registration experience in mental health nursing
• Solid understanding of recovery-oriented practice frameworks and community mental health service delivery
• Confidence working within the Mental Health Act and relevant legislative frameworks
• Strong assessment skills across a range of presentations including psychosis, mood disorders, and co-occurring conditions
• Ability to work both autonomously and as an engaged member of a multidisciplinary team
• A current driver's licence, as community-based travel across the northern region is a regular part of the role

To be eligible for this position, you must beRegistered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate, enrolled in an approved Mental Health course or holds a qualification in mental health practice.

About the role:

Duties for the role will include:

• This is a third year (or first year post advanced training) opportunity consolidate clinical training and develop strong research skills into clinical practice.
• Supporting clinical improvement activities with the aim of achieving safe, evidence based best practice clinical services. This will involve evaluation of clinical processes and service outcomes, including patient safety, identifying possible areas for improvement and implementing the required changes.
• Participating in multidisciplinary cancer care in collaboration with other units within cancer services, and units treating cancer within other functional units in the hospital,
• Investigating and addressing patient complaints in a positive, constructive manner,
• Participating in relevant standing or ad hoc committees associated with the provision of clinical services.

As per the SMOEA 2022, the total term of employment with SA Health will be 3 years. Rotations following the initial 12-month allocation as Advanced Trainee will be determined in line with your training and SA Health's requirements. This may include transfer to other SA Health locations to perform work appropriate to classification, skills, and capabilities.

About the role

Provide compassionate psychological care for children and young people living with chronic pain. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the role delivers assessment, therapy and support for children and families across inpatient, outpatient and community settings, helping improve wellbeing and quality of life.

Key duties of the role

• Provide specialist mental health and psychological support to children and young people with chronic pain and complex rehabilitation needs
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic, bio-psychosocial, trauma-informed, patient-centred, and evidenced-based clinical assessment and interventions.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of mental health and rehabilitation services for children, adolescents, and families and advocate for positive mental health outcomes.

Skills and Experience

• General registration with the Psychology Board of Australia and desirably holding an endorsed area of practice and being a Board-Approved supervisor.
• Experience in conducting psychological assessment and intervention with children, young people and families experiencing complex emotional, behavioural and/or cognitive difficulties.
• Experience in service provision within a multi-disciplinary and inter-disciplinary setting and across a range of agencies.
• Demonstrated ability to apply specialised skills in analysing complex clinical problems and formulate and implement appropriate intervention (individual, family, systemic).

About the role:

Reporting to the Child Development Services Manager, you will provide clinical leadership in the assessment and diagnosis of children and adolescents with complex neurodevelopmental presentations. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated, evidence-based care, while also providing supervision and support to junior and less experienced staff.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing specialist clinical psychology assessment, diagnostic and consultation services for children and adolescents with complex neurodevelopmental needs.
• Acting as a recognised clinical expert in the assessment of conditions such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), intellectual disability, global developmental delay and specific learning disorders.
• Conducting comprehensive assessments to support timely diagnosis, prognosis and evidence-based treatment recommendations for referred paediatric clients.
• Providing high level clinical advice and consultancy services to colleagues, families and other professionals.
• Applying advanced clinical expertise to the management of complex cases and contributing to service improvement initiatives.
• Working with a high degree of professional autonomy and providing advice to the Child Development Services Manager and CAT Coordinator regarding the effective use of psychology resources within the team.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate extensive experience in paediatric clinical psychology and specialist expertise in the assessment of neurodevelopmental disorders.

You will have:

• A degree qualification recognised by the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) and current general registration as a Psychologist.
• Clinical Psychology Area of Practice Endorsement with the Psychology Board of Australia.
• Advanced skills in the assessment of children with complex developmental, cognitive and behavioural presentations.
• Demonstrated expertise in the assessment and management of neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, developmental delay and learning disorders.
• Broad post graduate experience working with paediatric clients with complex needs.
• Experience providing clinical supervision, mentoring and education to students and less experienced clinicians.
• A strong understanding of child development theory, assessment frameworks and evidence based practice.
• Knowledge of paediatric psychology services and relevant service interfaces across South Australia.

Working as an AHP2 Dietitian within the Lyell McEwin Hospital, you will deliver evidence-based nutrition assessment, intervention, and education to inpatients and/or outpatients across a defined clinical caseload. Your key responsibilities will include:

About the Role:
