About the Opportunity Reporting to the District Director, the Director of Nursing - Health Service Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of safe, high-quality healthcare services across Norseman Hospital and associated community services. In this role you will:

• Provide strategic, operational and clinical leadership across hospital, aged care and community health services.
• Lead and support multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care and positive community health outcomes, while occasionally assisting with direct clinical service delivery, including triage, as required.
• Oversee clinical governance, quality, safety, workforce development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage financial, human and physical resources while building strong partnerships with local communities, stakeholders and regional teams.

About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following Suitability Criteria:

• Eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, with demonstrated advanced clinical skills and a strong commitment to evidence-based practice and high-quality health outcomes.
• Proven leadership and management capability, including experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing human, financial and physical resources to achieve strategic and operational outcomes.
• Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships, engage stakeholders and deliver responsive, community-focused health services.
• Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary legislative and regulatory requirements, including Equal Opportunity, Disability Services and Work Health and Safety, and the ability to apply these in service delivery and people management.
• Current C Class driver's licence (or eligibility to obtain one) and the capacity and willingness to undertake regular travel between Goldfields Health Service sites to support service delivery across the region.
