Where you'll be workingArmdiale Rural Referral Hosptial practices true General Medicine, with all patients admitted under the physician on call for the day. This ensures a breadth and depth of medical problems presenting to the medical services. The hospital has a large drainage area, covering much of the Tablelands Area, meaning that many patients can present from geographically distant areas with a multitude of medical issues. All of the physicians in Armidale particpate fully on the Genral Medical Roster. Our physician group is united by our love for medicine, and our desire to achieve excellence as clinicsans and educators. We are dedicated to the development and training of high-qulaity General Physicians, with or without dual subspecialty training, who will then become confident as being centre of educational excellence. Armidale Rural Referral Hospital is the principal hospital on the Northern Tableands of NSW with a referral population of approximaltly 80,000. the Hospital has 99 beds, including a 32 bed General Medical Ward, a 5 bed COU, and 6 dialysis chairs. Excluding the dialysis patients there are approximately 2,500 geneal medical admissions per year that are looked after by fiive Staff Specialists and one VMO, all of whom are Gernal Phsyicans with a subspeciality interest. Patients admitted to the CCU are also looked after by these Physicians. Medicine in Armidale Hosptial is therefore very much General and Acute Care Medicine. Armidale is home to the University of New England, which in turn is home to the School of Rural Medicince. this medical school is a partner in the Joint Medical Program with the School of Medicine and Public Health at the Universty of Newcastle. Much of the theaching within the School of Rural Medicine is delivered by the physicians with Armidale Hospital, and an Advanced Trianee would be encouraged to contribut to this.
What you'll be doingProviding a high standard of clinical care to patients under supervision, while developing expertise in the practise of General and Acute Care Medicine, in the context of fulfilling the requirement of the RACP for Advanced Training in General and Acute Care Medicine.
The position may be required to work within other facilities which are in an approved arrangement with your employer, including rural locations. These facilities may include other NSW public and private hospitals, and facilities in other States.
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia
- Eligible for Advanced Training in General and Acute Care Medicine, RACP, by successful completion of both written and clinical examinations.
- Demonstrated teamwork, time management and problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary clinical team.
- Demonstrated competency in clinical skills including effective assessment, care planning, care provision, case management and management of unstable patients

Alfred Care Group's Physiotherapy Department provides acute physiotherapy services to the patients of The Alfred and Sandringham Hospital and subacute physiotherapy services to Caulfield Hospital.
The acute physiotherapy service is organised into five functional streams, namely: Intensive Care, Musculoskeletal, Respiratory, PAN (Progressive Illness, Aged Care and Neurosciences), and Sandringham. The first four streams are located at The Alfred site, with the fifth and latter stream based at the Sandringham site. The physiotherapy service provides acute clinical services and expertise in the following areas: intensive care, cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery, orthopaedics, trauma, burns, lung transplantation, cystic fibrosis, pulmonary rehabilitation, neurology and neurosurgery, infectious diseases, haematology / oncology, general medicine, haemophilia and emergency.
Caulfield Hospital Physiotherapy Department provides an extensive range of inpatient and ambulatory services in the areas of rehabilitation, health of the older person and residential care services. The physiotherapy department has more than 50 staff with another 15 physiotherapists working in other ambulatory and community services on site. The department provides subacute clinical services and expertise in the following areas: ABI, neurology, non-traumatic spinal cord injury, orthopaedics, amputees, burns, pain, Health of Older Person, aged care (GEM), transitional care and aged psychiatry. The subacute physiotherapy service is organised into four functional streams: Neurological Rehabilitation, Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation, Health of Older Persons (HOP) and ABI.
The Alfred Care Group Physiotherapy Department has more than 100 EFT and employs over 170 staff. The physiotherapy service has a proud history of clinical and academic excellence. It remains strongly committed to further pursuing excellence in physiotherapy, through clinical research. The Alfred Care Group Physiotherapy Department is a major partner in the Alfred Care Group Physiotherapy Clinical Schools for both La Trobe and Monash Universities and in this role provides core and elective clinical placements for more than 50 undergraduate physiotherapy students.
The RoleThe Physiotherapy Clinical Educator plays a vital role in the development and enhancement of the Physiotherapy workforce, fostering a culture of clinical learning and best practice across the continuum of care. This position is responsible for supporting the implementation and periodic review of the Allied Health Strategic Plan, including the clinical education and development of physiotherapy and allied health assistant staff within the department and their students. A major element of the Allied Health Strategic Plan, is to support the further development and implementation of a comprehensive education framework as well as monitor, review and update the existing competency and credentialing program.
The Physiotherapy Clinical Educator will work closely with clinical teams, stakeholders, and the leadership group to ensure that education efforts align with organisational goals and Allied Health education strategy whilst adhering to best practices and evidence-based approaches. This includes the development and progression of the Alfred Care Group Physiotherapy Clinical Schools alongside affiliated university partners.
The Physiotherapy Clinical Educator is also responsible for and expected to be engaged in quality activities in clinical education and staff development. They have an important role contributing to the development of individuals, the clinical team and the physiotherapy service through good leadership, teamwork and communication.
The Physiotherapy Clinical Educator will work with and be supervised by the Physiotherapy Clinical Education Lead but also will work closely with the Allied Health Education Unit for education standards, frameworks and alignment, ensuring clinical education meets agreed professional education priorities across Bayside Health.
Work undertaken in this role occurs across the whole Alfred Care Group Physiotherapy Service therefore the educator will be required to work across Alfred Care Group sites. Although this position is primarily a non-clinical role, a small clinical role can be negotiated in exceptional circumstances.

The Clinical Nurse Consultant will promote a mental health nursing service that fosters excellence in clinical, educational and professional leadership, both within ED and the Mental Health Inpatient Units, The Clinical Nurse Consultant contributes to quality health care by collaborating with health care providers, consumer groups, and other community services by developing clinical practice and family orientated standards in emergency and acute mental health care. The Clinical Nurse Consultant will demonstrate a high knowledge of quality improvement principles, EEO and WH&S requirements.

About the RoleThe Department of Gastroenterology and Clinical Nutrition is advertising 4 ongoing vacant sessions to fulfil the role of permanent Consultant Gastroenterologists with expertise in paediatric liver disease & liver transplantation. These sessions are available from 5/4/2027 to appoint individuals up to a maximum of 0.4 EFT. These sessions will be linked to inpatient, outpatient duties and on-call responsibilities, depending on the number of sessions the successful applicants are appointed to. How You Can Contribute- Help provide clinical care to paediatric patients with a full range of liver conditions, including complex tertiary level liver and intestinal transplantation

QualificationsWe're looking for dentists who have:
- Current AHPRA registration
- Minimum two years' experience practising in Australia
- Confidence working independently across general dentistry
- Professional indemnity insurance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Access Telehealth is expanding our national specialist network and is seeking Endocrinologists to provide Telehealth consultations to patients across Australia, with a significant focus on people living in Residential Aged Care.
This is a flexible opportunity designed to complement your existing clinical practice. Consult remotely, determine your availability and focus on clinical care while our team manages the coordination around you.

For older Australians living in Residential Aged Care, attending an external specialist appointment can be difficult. Our model brings specialist expertise directly into the resident's home through Telehealth, reducing barriers to timely care.
Work as part of the resident's broader clinical team
You won't be consulting in isolation. Residents are supported through a GP led multidisciplinary model involving Access Nurses, geriatricians, specialist physicians and other healthcare providers, with shared care planning and ongoing GP oversight.
Flexible around your existing commitments
Consult remotely from anywhere in Australia and nominate availability that works alongside your hospital, private practice, research or other professional commitments.
Continuity, not one off consultations
Where clinically appropriate, residents can continue seeing the same specialist for follow up consultations, supporting greater familiarity and continuity of care.
The OpportunityAs an Access Telehealth Endocrinologist, you'll provide specialist consultations and follow ups through our purpose built Telehealth model.
Your caseload may include patients requiring assessment and management across areas such as:
- Diabetes and medication optimisation
- Osteoporosis and bone health
- Thyroid disorders
- Metabolic and endocrine conditions
- Other non urgent endocrine presentations within your scope of practice
For our Residential Aged Care patients, these presentations often sit within a broader picture of multimorbidity, polypharmacy, frailty and changing clinical needs.
Our model is designed around early intervention and coordinated care. Residents receive proactive chronic disease, falls and bone health, medication and other clinical reviews, with specialist expertise incorporated when required.
Following consultation, your recommendations are communicated back to the resident's GP and care team so ongoing care can be coordinated locally.
How It WorksThe resident's clinician provides a specialist referral.
We coordinate the rest.
Our team arranges the appointment and prepares the resident for their consultation. For residents within our aged care model, an Access Aged Care Nurse supports the Telehealth consultation on site. Family members or support people can also participate where appropriate.
You provide the specialist assessment and recommendations remotely, and we help ensure the resident's GP and care team have the information required to continue their care.
About YouWe're interested in hearing from Endocrinologists who value collaborative care and want to make specialist expertise more accessible.
You'll have:
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Endocrinology, or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
- Specialist registration with AHPRA, or eligibility to obtain it
- You must be able to bill through Medicare
- Confidence managing a broad range of endocrine presentations
- Strong clinical judgement and the ability to provide clear, practical recommendations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A collaborative approach to working with GPs, nurses and other clinicians
- Confidence using technology to deliver high quality clinical care remotely
Experience in aged care or geriatric medicine is highly regarded, but not essential. Endocrinologists with an interest in diabetes in older adults, osteoporosis, bone health, multimorbidity or complex chronic disease are particularly encouraged to apply.
