About the Role:
Lyell McEwin Hospital is growing its cardiac electrophysiology capability, and the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is seeking a skilled clinician to join the team as an Electrophysiology Fellow. This is a part-time, fixed-term contract position through to 1 February 2030 - an exceptional opportunity to deepen your subspecialty expertise within a public health network that serves one of Adelaide's most diverse and growing communities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Performing and assisting with diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures, including ablation and device implantation
- Contributing to the management of complex arrhythmia patients across inpatient and outpatient settings at Lyell McEwin Hospital
- Collaborating with the cardiology team on multidisciplinary care planning and clinical governance activities
- Supporting the training and supervision of junior medical staff and registrars within the unit
What You'll Bring
- Medical registration with AHPRA and fellowship of RACP or equivalent (or near completion)
- Demonstrated experience in clinical cardiology with exposure to electrophysiology procedures
- Understanding of SA Health clinical standards and public hospital environments
- Strong commitment to patient-centred care and clinical safety
- Effective communication and teamwork skills across multidisciplinary settings
- Ability to work part-time hours within a structured rostering arrangement
To be eligible for this position, you must have
- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
- Obtained a Specialist Qualification and is registrable as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration.
As per the SA Health Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement 2025, the total term of employment with SA Health will be 3 years. Rotations following the initial 12 month allocation as Medical Practitioner will be determined in line with your training and SA Health's requirements. This may include transfer to other SA Health locations to perform work appropriate to classification, skills and capabilities.
The Total Indicative Remuneration figure is calculated taking into account base salary, leave loading and superannuation as well as managerial allowances, professional development or any other allowances where appropriate.

The Family Domestic and Sexual Violence (FDSV) Healing Coordinator position is well suited to someone with a recognised tertiary qualification in Social Work and eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers, as well as an understanding of Aboriginal cultural values and commitment to the advancement and self-determination of Aboriginal communities.
TheFDSVHealing Coordinatorprovides leadership, coordination and clinical oversight of the Big Rivers Healing for Our Mob program. A key focus of the position is strengthening integration across partnering organisations, ensuring healing and wellbeing of FDSV victim-survivors and communities remain central to service delivery. The program also works in partnership with communities to deliver education and awareness of FDSV, improve access to support pathways and promote culturally grounded recovery and healing.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Provide guidance and coordination of the Big Rivers Healing for Our Mob program,ensuring effective and culturally secure service delivery.
- Strengthen multidisciplinary integration across partnering organisations to ensure aholistic, health-led approach to supporting FDSV victim-survivors and communities.
- In collaboration with the case workers, oversee referral and intake processes,ensuring timely triage, appropriate allocation, and prioritisation of clients based onrisk and need.
- Ensure high-quality case management practices, including the development,implementation, and regular review of care plans, risk assessments, and casedocumentation.
- Provide mentoring and support to the FDSV Healing Practitioners, Cultural Healing Support Officers and Health Promotion Officers and reflective practice supervision to students, fostering professional development, reflective practice, and staff wellbeing.
- Manage a small, complex caseload as required, providing direct support to clients and modelling best practice in family-centred, trauma-informed care.

This position is based within Western Sydney local Health District at Blacktown and Mt Druitt Hospitals
What you'll be doing
The successful applicant will be working as a Paediatrics and Neonatal Career Medical Officer (CMO) in the Department of Paediatrics and Neonatology at Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals (BMDH). They will be exposed to all aspects of Paediatrics and Neonatology at the level of role delineation (i.e., Metropolitan Paediatrics and Nursery Level 4) and is able to competently assess children presenting to the Emergency Department and make appropriate provisional diagnoses and management plans and to determine disposition. They will be expected to manage patients independently with supervision from consultants.
The primary purpose of the role is to provide effective clinical management of paediatric and neonatal patients, which includes assessment, investigation, performance of necessary procedures and formulation of a management plan. The CMO is the key person who works closely with all members of a multi-disciplinary team and deals with matters of an urgent or sensitive nature, whilst exercising discretion, sensitivity and maintaining confidentiality.
The CMO is also expected to be proficient at both neonatal and paediatric resuscitation. They will be exposed to a broad range of developmental and behavioural problems, and they are expected to undertake the assessments as part of the multidisciplinary teams and independently where required. They will be expected to assess children at risk and complete a PANOC assessment when required. All decisions regarding their care are to be clearly communicated with the specialist responsible for that care.
The CMO is expected to supervise and educate junior medical staff and students. They will participate in ongoing professional development, system improvement activities and research.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently under consultant supervision, in a complex clinical environment particularly in the domains of clinical judgment and communication.
- Excellent procedural skills including venepuncture, cannulation, lumbar puncture, urinary catheter insertion or supra-pubic aspirate collection; neonatal chest drain insertion, and umbilical lines insertion.
- Demonstrated advanced neonatal and paediatric resuscitation skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads and display a flexible approach to changing situations in a busy and unpredictable clinical environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and as part of a multidisciplinary team, including with internal and external key persons or services.
- Demonstrated advanced verbal and written communication skills in the clinical context; this includes ensuring effective, timely and accurate discharge planning for patients.
- Demonstrated commitment to education of junior staff and the broader healthcare team and a commitment to the supervision of junior medical officers and students.
