About the ICYMHS CATSThe ICYMHS CATS (Crisis Assessment & Treatment Service) Team within Austin Health plays a crucial role in providing timely and effective assessment and treatment. You will work with children, young people, their families and carers in their home environment.Children and young people may be presenting with high acuity mental health needs. You will work as part of an MDT to support them remaining in the community where possible.
About the roleA regular day will see you:
- Display a clear understanding of and practice in the principles of recovery-orientated, trauma-informed and family-centred, collaborative practice and expertise in engaging children and young people and their families within a range of settings.
- Provide high quality, evidence-based clinical assessment and treatment modalities at an individual or family-system level as indicated by clinical need within available resources.
- Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure that care is person-centred, holistic, and responsive to the individual needs of children and young consumers and their families.

About the Podiatry and High-Risk Foot Service
The Podiatry and High-Risk Foot Service operates across all sites and campuses of Austin Health including the Austin Hospital, Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital and Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Center. We provide services within specialist outpatient clinics and admitted inpatient streams, both at home and in hospital.
Weimplementand deliverhigh-qualityevidence-based assessment and intervention for acute foot conditions. We partner with our clients to deliver best practice care in the community or hospital setting, aiming to reduce or prevent clinical deterioration,complicationsandtime in hospital. We collaborate broadly with teams across our health network, GPs, community nursingservicesand Podiatrists to ensure integrated, patient centered care is well coordinated.
The large multi-disciplinary team works in a supportive and collaborative model including Endocrinology, Infectious diseases, Vascular Surgery, Orthotics, Psychology and Diabetes Education. We work closely with specialty units such as Complex Care, ChronicWoundand Amputee Rehab.
About the role
The Grade 3 Podiatrist will work within the Inpatient and Outpatient Podiatry & High-Risk Foot Service streams delivering safe and effective evidence based clinical care for patients.
This position provides assessment, management and education to patients with acute and chronic foot ulceration, charcots neuroarthropathy and other related foot conditions that places patients at risk of hospital admission, clinical deterioration and amputation. The Grade 3 Podiatrist will be required to work collaboratively and provide leadership within the multidisciplinary team for positive patient outcomes.
A regular day will see you:
- Supporting a teamto deliver best practice assessment and intervention for complexhigh riskfoot clients across busy inpatient and outpatient streams
- Collaborate positively with teams within our health network and the community to ensure effective, coordinated care is delivered

Reporting to the Director of Chemical Pathology and to the Biochemistry Principal Scientist, this role provides specialist clinical scientific support for biochemistry services at the Austin Health Pathology network. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to clinical governance, assay development, service improvement, education and research within a progressive and expanding pathology service.
A regular day will see you:
- Providing specialist scientific advice to clinicians and healthcare professionals regarding biochemical investigations and result interpretation.
- Supporting the review of complex patient results and contributing to critical result management processes.
- Leading or contributing to assay verification, validation and implementation projects.
- Investigating analytical quality issues and supporting accreditation and compliance activities.
- Analysing laboratory data, quality indicators and workload trends to support evidence-based service improvement.
- Contributing to point-of-care testing governance and quality programs.
- Supporting education, training and professional development of laboratory staff and registrars.

About theDepartment of UGI
The Upper GI unit is part of the Division of Surgery, Anaesthesia & Procedural Medicine. It is responsible for the provision of services within these specialties as well as general surgery to patients across Austin Health, situated at Austin Hospital and Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital.
The Unit is committed to the provision of high quality patient care and maintains an ongoing commitment to Under Graduate and Post Graduate teaching. It also provides a consultative service for other units with Austin Health.
About the role
Consultant Upper Gastrointestinal Surgeons are expected to provide high level surgical services within their approved scope of clinical practice. As all Surgeons are expected to be able to provide routine surgical services and cover "on call" after hours, a minimum mandatory level of expertise and set of skills is necessary.This is a senior Medical Position and carries with it the professional responsibilities of clinical leadership, teaching and training as well as some administrative requirements.

About the roleThe Senior Pharmacist - Compounding is responsible for managing, coordinating, and regulatory oversight of sterile and non-sterile compounded pharmacy services within their designated portfolio. This role ensures safe, compliant, and efficient preparation of compounded products in accordance with applicable standards to optimise patient outcomes. This role provides leadership and mentorship to pharmacy staff, drives quality improvement initiatives, ensures adherence to aseptic and compounding best practices, and supports service development.
In addition, the position supports Austin Health's strategic plan by contributing to organisational goals, implementing evidence based practices, and promoting timely access to quality care supported by high quality compounded products.
