With 145 beds and more than 330 highly qualified medical practitioners, our hospital caters for a variety of medical and surgical admissions and palliative care, plus allied health and community-based services.
We offer a wide range of services, caring for inpatients, outpatients and day patients across a range of specialties including medical, surgical, rehabilitation and allied health.
About the role
This position is responsible for delivering a broad range of administrative and customer service functions that support the efficient operation of the Engineering Department and wider South West Health Campus. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, contractors and visitors, ensuring professional, accurate and timely administrative support.
Key responsibilities
Provide administrative support including correspondence, reports, minutes and data entry.
Manage departmental records, files and databases, including CMMS maintenance system updates.
Coordinate appointments, enquiries and telephone communications.
Support contractor inductions, visitor registration and access card/key management.
Process purchase orders, file receipts and maintain department records.
Coordinate stationery supplies and departmental stock ordering.
Manage hospital vehicle fleet bookings and maintenance administration.
Liaise with contractors and suppliers, including waste management providers.
Arrange receipt, dispatch and courier activities.
Support medical gas and consumable chemical ordering requirements.
You are a friendly and organised administrator who enjoys supporting others and delivering outstanding customer service. With strong communication skills and a professional approach, you can build positive relationships, manage competing priorities and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy department.
You will bring previous administrative experience, excellent attention to detail and confidence using Microsoft Office applications. Most importantly, you are a collaborative team player who is committed to providing high-quality support while embracing the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.

Salary: $71,352 to $77,022, plus 12% superannuation

About the role
Join St John of God Bunbury Hospital and help create a welcoming and professional experience for patients, families and medical specialists. We are currently seeking to fill one Casual Medical Receptionist position, offering a flexible opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our busy specialist clinics at the hospital Medical Centre and Specialist Centre in Bunbury.
Key responsibilities
Provide front-line reception and telephone support to patients and visitors.
Manage patient appointments, referrals and specialist booking requirements.
Maintain accurate patient records and data entry.
Process Medicare billing, receipting, banking and petty cash transactions.
Coordinate pre-admission information, pathology and diagnostic testing requirements.
Prepare and manage medical records and correspondence.
Liaise effectively with patients, families, medical practitioners and multidisciplinary teams.
Undertake medical typing and other administrative duties as required.
Your skills
You are a friendly, professional and highly organised administrator who enjoys supporting patients and clinicians in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You can confidently manage competing priorities, work both independently and as part of a team, and consistently provide outstanding customer service.
To succeed in this role, you will bring previous experience in a medical reception or similar healthcare administration position, strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities and a high level of attention to detail. Experience with medical practice software, knowledge of medical terminology and an understanding of patient confidentiality are highly regarded. Experience with Gentu and medical typing will be advantageous.

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse with demonstrated experience in Palliative Care to join our supportive and compassionate team at St John of God Murdoch Hospital on a permanent part-time basis, working 28 hours per week.
Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care to patients with life-limiting illnesses and support their families throughout their healthcare journey. You will play an important role in promoting comfort, dignity and quality of life, while supporting patients and families through complex and often challenging circumstances.
This is an opportunity to work within a collaborative team where your clinical expertise, communication skills and compassionate approach will make a genuine difference to patients and their loved ones.
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe, compassionate and evidence-based nursing care to patients receiving palliative care.
Assess and respond to patients’ physical, emotional, psychological, social and spiritual needs.
Support effective symptom management, including pain and other complex symptoms associated with advanced illness.
Develop and evaluate individualised care plans in collaboration with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team.
Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families throughout their palliative care journey.
Advocate for patients and ensure their wishes, dignity, comfort and individual needs remain at the centre of care.
Recognise and respond appropriately to changes in a patient's condition, escalating concerns where required.
Work collaboratively with medical, allied health and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and quality of care.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital standards and legislative
Your skills and experience
You will be a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse who is committed to providing person-centred care to patients with life-limiting illness.
You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with patients, families and members of the multidisciplinary team.
To succeed in this role, you will hold registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse. Previous experience in palliative care, oncology, medical nursing or caring for patients with complex and chronic health conditions will be highly regarded.
A relevant postgraduate qualification in Palliative Care or a related area will be highly regarded.

About the role
As a Clinical Nurse in our Endoscopy Department, you will provide the highest standard of patient care, act as a clinical resource and effectively manage resources to deliver quality patient outcomes. You will ensure the highest level of postoperative care is provided to our Endoscopy patients including the monitoring of recovery, assessing of clinical progress, management of any complications, and ensuring a smooth transition to discharge.
Our Endoscopy unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and staffed by highly skilled medical professionals. We offer a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopies, bronchoscopies, and cystoscopies. Our team is dedicated to providing compassionate care and ensuring patient comfort throughout the entire process.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise nursing practice and take responsibility for standard of nursing care delivered.

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to play a key role in the accurate and timely delivery of payroll services.
This position is responsible for maintaining Caregiver and payroll master data within the HRIS to ensure the systematic calculation and processing of fortnightly payroll. Master data includes employment conditions, leave records and accruals, timesheet coding, salary packaging, and employee allowances.

About You

About the role
As Storeperson, you will be responsible for maintaining stock availability across the Hospital by replenishing ward and department imprests to agreed stock levels, receiving and distributing supplies from the Warehouse and external vendors, and ensuring deliveries are accurately stored and distributed to the appropriate locations.

Key responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and process incoming goods, ensuring stock is accurate, undamaged, and appropriately documented.
Replenish ward and department imprest stock to agreed levels using the inventory management system.
Pick, pack, and distribute stock and equipment accurately and efficiently to hospital departments.
Maintain effective stock control practices, including storage, stock rotation, inventory counts, and record management.
Coordinate urgent deliveries, supplier returns, and direct site deliveries to support operational requirements.

Your skills and experience

Your role at SJG Healthcare At Home
We are seeking applications from Senior Physiotherapists to join our Rehab at Home service, on a casual roster with potential permanent positions available in the next 3 to 6 months. As a Physiotherapist – Grade 2 depending on your experience, you'll join a collaborative multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, client-centred physiotherapy services that empower people to achieve their goals and maintain independence in the comfort of their own homes.
This senior role offers the opportunity to apply your specialist clinical expertise, work independently, and influence best practice across the service. You'll also play a key role in mentoring and developing junior clinicians, supervising students, and contributing to education, quality improvement, and research initiatives that shape the future of care.
This position will be offered on a casual basis with an expectation of 1-2 shifts weekly depending on caseload with potential permanent positions available in the next 3 to 6 months. This role will be based from our SJG Mudoch Hospital
The Position:
Provide physiotherapy assessment, intervention and evaluation at a senior practice level for complex and general caseload/s.
Ensure that direct working relationships are established and maintained with colleagues and internal/external customers.
Use of Evidence Based Patient treatment outcome measures and use of patient feedback - satisfaction measures and quality assurance activities.
Ensure prioritisation and delegation of duties of Physiotherapy caseloads for self and supervised staff.
Active participation in the multidisciplinary team including clinical meetings.
Document in the patient/client healthcare record in accordance with the SJGHC policies and procedure
Maintain statistical data in accordance with departmental and professional clinical guidelines.
We are looking for those who enjoy working collaboratively, are committed to continuous improvement and keen to contribute to innovative clinical practice while supporting the development of others. Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be essential for building positive relationships and working effectively with clients from diverse cultural, linguistic, and social backgrounds.
Physiotherapists with Rehab in the Home (RITH), community care and/or home visiting experience are encouraged to apply. Hospital experience is not necessary
To succeed in this role, you will hold a Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). You will bring senior clinical experience, ideally within healthcare or disability services, along with a passion for delivering evidence-based, person-centred care. A current driver's licence and Working With Children Card is essential for this community-based role.

Casual Rate: $82.55 to $88.02 per hour (inclusive of casual loading) plus 12% superannuation

About the role
We are seeking a Casual Senior Cardiac Technician to join our Cardiac Vascular Intervention Unit (CVIL), providing specialist technical support for diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures.
Working as part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality patient care while contributing to a dynamic and innovative cardiac service.
Our Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory (CVIL) is a leading cardiac service equipped with advanced technology and supported by a highly skilled multidisciplinary team. As part of the exciting redevelopment of the SJG Subiaco Heart Centre, you will have the opportunity to work across expanded interventional services, a new Coronary Care Unit, Radial Lounge, and Hybrid Suite, while developing your skills through a diverse and rewarding range of cardiac cases.
Key responsibilities
Provide specialist technical support for diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures within the Cardiac Vascular Intervention Unit.
Operate and interpret advanced physiological monitoring and electrophysiology systems to support patient care and clinical decision-making.
Assist with patient preparation, emergency response, and resuscitation procedures during cardiac interventions.
Coordinate the maintenance, calibration, and effective operation of electrophysiology equipment.
Manage consumables and ensure appropriate stock levels to support service delivery.
Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of new technologies, techniques, and clinical practices.
Maintain accurate procedural and patient records in accordance with clinical and regulatory requirements.
Support the education and development of caregivers through formal and informal training in electrophysiology procedures and practices.
Your skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you will be a highly skilled Cardiac Technician with a Bachelor of Science or Applied Science, majoring in Anatomical Science, Biomedical Science, Exercise Physiology or Human Biology OR have a Tertiary qualification in Nursing or Medical Imaging Technology and be eligible for registration with the relevant Board.
You will bring advanced expertise in ECG recording and interpretation, haemodynamic monitoring, electrophysiology studies, and catheter ablation procedures, supported by a strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements and contemporary healthcare technology.
A commitment to continuous learning, quality improvement, and ongoing professional development will be key to your success in this role. Postgraduate qualifications in electrophysiology, such as the CEPIA certification, or other recognised cardiopulmonary and electrophysiology credentials (including NASPE, Mayfield, or equivalent international certifications) will be highly regarded. Affiliate membership with the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSANZ) will also be viewed favourably.
