Key responsibilities
Partner with hospital leaders, specialists, and other key stakeholders to identify and develop new clinical and non-clinical service initiatives that support organisational growth and commercial performance.
Undertake detailed financial and activity analysis, and use market and performance data to identify opportunities, service improvements, and develop innovative solutions.
Develop business cases, assess commercial viability, and manage specialist resources to ensure successful project outcomes.
Contribute to regional and group-wide clinical service planning and strategic growth initiatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote and support new and expanded service opportunities.
Your skills and experience
You are a commercially astute professional who combines strong analytical capability with the ability to influence, engage and drive outcomes in a complex environment, along with:
Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, or a related discipline,
Significant experience in management consulting, business analysis and/or commercial service development within a large and complex organisation.
Demonstrated experience in service planning, design, analysis, and commissioning
Strong financial analysis, modelling, and business case development skills.
Experience leading projects and navigating stakeholders across multiple levels of an organisation.
Exceptional communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
A strategic mindset with a strong focus on translating ideas into measurable outcomes.
Experience in healthcare and/or a strong understanding of the private hospital sector will be highly regarded

Our services include 24-hour emergency care, public maternity care, Aboriginal pregnancy and maternity support through Moort Boojari Mia, acute mental health treatment and medical and surgical care.
Your role
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Nurses to join our Diabetes Service as Diabetes Educators. These roles provide an excellent opportunity to develop and enhance your skills in both inpatient and outpatient diabetes management while working within a supportive, multidisciplinary team environment.
Comprehensive orientation, mentoring, and ongoing professional support will be provided by the Diabetes Clinical Nurse Consultant and Diabetes Service team, enabling you to build confidence in practice and deliver high-quality patient care. The successful candidates will also have access to supported credentialing as a Diabetes Educator.
We currently have one permanent part-time position, working 2 days per week (8:00am to 4:00pm), as well as one casual opportunity. If you are passionate about diabetes care, patient education, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of people living with diabetes, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support for the assessment, education, and management of inpatients and outpatients with Type 1 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, gestational and steroid-induced diabetes.
Assist with blood glucose monitoring, insulin administration, and patient education under the guidance of the Diabetes Clinical Nurse Consultant.
Participate in diabetes-related group education sessions for patients and staff.
Collaborate with medical, nursing, and allied health staff to promote safe and effective diabetes care.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in patient records and contribute to discharge planning.
Essential Requirements
You will possess current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA), with a postgraduate qualification in Diabetes Education or significant progress towards attaining this qualification.
You will demonstrate interest and experience in diabetes management and patient education, with the ability to support individuals in the self-management of their condition. Proven capacity to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment, coupled with a strong commitment to patient-centred care and collaborative practice as part of a diabetes service team. Previous exposure to diabetes care in acute or outpatient settings is advantageous

We provide a comprehensive range of medical and surgical services, including cancer care, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, gynaecology, maternity, orthopaedics, pain services, and urology.
Your Role
You will assist the Manager Infection Prevention & Control in the coordination and implementation of a comprehensive hospital wide IP&C program and acts a resource person to ensure a high standard of patient care and caregiver safety in the area of infection prevention and control.
Your responsibilities will include improving and maintaining standards, developing solutions and delivering outcomes consistent with service and organisational targets.
This opportunity is being offered on a part-time, fixed term basis at 22.8 hours per week, initially until October 2027.
The Position
Acts as a resource for all hospital personnel in matters pertaining to IP&C and provide recommendations for improvement in all departments.
Provides clinical expertise and local leadership to clinical areas on matters pertaining to IP&C.
Negotiates patient care with nursing, medical and allied health professionals to ensure that IP&C policies, protocols and standards are observed.
Assists with the caregiver health programs by providing appropriate screening and vaccination to all caregivers and ensure the maintenance of such records.
Assists in coordination the management of occupational exposure to infectious diseases/hazards for hospital personnel.
Assists in the management of occupational exposures (needle stick and splash exposures).
Maintains and assists with safe work practice in relation to infection control in collaboration with Work, Health & Safety.
Undertakes infection surveillance as per the IP&C departmental management and action plans.
Undertakes IP&C audits to ensure compliance with ACSQHC National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards version 2.
Ensures that appropriate IP&C standards are practiced and implemented in the area of Environmental Services, in collaboration with the respective caregivers.
Undertake annual immunisation update as per HDWA.
Participates in committees, projects and other hospital activities as required.
You will be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse, with current immunisation/vaccination certificate or working towards and you will possess an understanding of epidemiology of hospital acquired infection. Accreditation as current Hand Hygiene Auditor will be advantageous but not essential. Post graduate qualifications in Infection Prevention would be desirable but not essential.
To succeed you have understanding and commitment to quality improvement and the National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards process. You will demonstrate well-developed skills in communication, including conflict resolution, negotiation and problem solving and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary health care environment.

Your Role

The Position

Undertake annual immunisation update as per HDWA.
Participates in committees, projects and other hospital activities as required.
You will be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse, with current immunisation/vaccination certificate or working towards and you will possess an understanding of epidemiology of hospital acquired infection. Accreditation as current Hand Hygiene Auditor will be advantageous but not essential. Post graduate qualifications in Infection Prevention would be desirable but not essential.
To succeed you have understanding and commitment to quality improvement and the National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards process. Our unit specialises in a high turnover of cases, including pain management, urology, and plastics.
Those with recent clinical experience in an acute surgical or perioperative setting with relevant specialty experience required for Scrub/Scout roles are encouraged to apply. 1. Perioperative Scrub/Scout Nurses

The centre will comprise of:
Four state of the art operating theatres
38 overnight beds
20 chair day surgery and day of surgery lounge (The Lounge)

To be successful, you will have:
Certificate IV and/or Diploma Qualification in Anaesthetic Technology / Nursing (Anaesthetic Technicians, Anaesthetic Nurses)
Demonstrated clinical experience within an Operating Suite and/or acute hospital setting.

As a CSSD Supervisor you will supervise a team of 13-15 on any given shift (5 on overnight shifts), with an excellent reputation, we now have 18 main operating theatres. You will be exposed to the latest in surgical technology, including robotics, and work with some of the highest calibre surgeons in Australia who are usually based onsite in our consulting suites.
About the role
You will play a vital role in supervising and ensuring the effective processing and supply of Operating Room instruments, equipment, and items supplied by CSSD. This critical department is central to hospital operations, responsible for the decontamination, sterilisation, and distribution of medical equipment — safeguarding patient safety and infection control.
Your responsibilities include assisting with the disinfection of state-of-the-art surgical equipment and supporting a team that takes pride in delivering high standards of patient care. For this role we can consider a part-time contract, with a minimum commitment of 4 shifts per week (32 hours), this opportunity could be the great next step for a Sterilisation Technician who has the career drive to be in a leadership position, you will be provided with mentorship and support in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Provide daily supervision and support to CSSD staff alongside the CSSD Manager, ensuring priorities and standards are met.
Monitor processing activities according to Aus/NZ187 standards and manufacturer IFUs, making recommendations, as necessary.
Delegate and coordinate workload to foster teamwork and support staff development.
Manage decontamination, assembly, packaging, and sterilizing processes following policy guidelines.
Ensure efficient use and maintenance of department equipment and materials.
Monitor the correct use of chemicals and oversee inventory control of CSSD processed items.
Maintain clean and tested sterilisers daily and weekly per policy.
Support continuous safety and quality improvement activities in line with national health standards.
Act as a technical resource for CSSD staff and other departments, maintaining AS5369 standards.
Facilitate training and competency validation for CSSD caregivers.

You will hold a Certificate III in Sterilisation Services (or equivalent), with a minimum of three years’ experience working in a hospital CSSD environment. Your practical knowledge of sterilisation processes, infection control standards, and equipment handling allows you to contribute confidently to a high-performing clinical environment. Your experience has also equipped you to support and guide others, with the ability to teach and mentor team members within CSSD and related areas.

About the role
Join St John of God Midland Public Hospital as the Administration Manager within our busy Emergency Department. In this key leadership role, you will manage the day-to-day operations of Emergency Department Administrative Support Services, leading a large multidisciplinary administrative team to deliver efficient, responsive and patient-centred services.
