- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with evidence of recent clinical experience and skills in Perioperative Nursing, and a strong commitment to maintaining professional competence.
Demonstrated effective professional verbal and written communication within a diverse multidisciplinary team.

Be at the heart of patient flow at Belmont Hospital.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Facility Flow Coordinator, playing a key role in ensuring patients receive the right care, in the right place, at the right time.
Working across nursing, medical, allied health and operational teams, you will coordinate patient flow, support bed management, facilitate admissions and transfers, and assist with timely discharge planning.
No two days will be the same. Using your clinical judgement, leadership and problem-solving skills, you will respond to changing demand, address barriers to patient flow and support safe, efficient patient care.

Your Key Responsibilities
As Facility Flow Coordinator, you will play a key role in leading and coordinating patient flow across Belmont Hospital, ensuring patients have timely access to beds, services and appropriate care.
You will work closely with nursing, medical, allied health and operational teams to monitor capacity, coordinate admissions and transfers, support timely discharge planning and address barriers to patient movement.
Your role will include:
- Responding to changing patient demand and capacity pressures.
- Providing clinical leadership during periods of increased activity.
- Escalating issues and working with key stakeholders to identify practical solutions.
- Using patient flow information to support operational decision-making and communication.
- Contributing to quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient flow, access and patient outcomes.

An exciting opportunity is available for an Undergraduate Assistant in Nursing (AIN) to join the team at the new Tamworth Mental Health Unit, servicing the New England North West region.
This brand-new, purpose-built facility features 37 inpatient beds, including:
- 20 adult mental health beds
- 5 high-acuity beds
- 4 beds for younger people
- 8 older persons mental health beds
The Tamworth Mental Health Unit delivers contemporary, recovery-oriented care within a modern therapeutic environment designed to support consumers, families and staff.
Care is provided by a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, incorporating medical, nursing, psychology, occupational therapy, social work and allied health professionals. Consumers are encouraged to participate in a structured therapeutic program focused on engagement, social connection, education, skill development and improving both mental and physical wellbeing. As an Undergraduate AIN, you’ll have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience within a specialist mental health setting while building your clinical skills and confidence alongside experienced clinicians. From day one, you’ll be supported through a comprehensive orientation program, regular in-service education and access to ongoing professional development, supervision and mentoring.
What You Will Be Doing
As an Assistant in Nursing, you will support Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses to deliver safe, person-centred and recovery-focused care to consumers within the inpatient mental health setting.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting consumers with activities of daily living, including personal care, nutrition, mobility and comfort.
- Undertaking delegated consumer observations and reporting changes in behaviour, mental state or physical health.
- Supporting consumers to participate in therapeutic, recreational and group activities.
- Assisting with routine clinical tasks within your scope of practice.
- Maintaining a safe and supportive ward environment.
- Accurately documenting delegated care and observations.
- Communicating effectively with nursing staff and the multidisciplinary team to support continuity of care.
This role works within a clearly defined scope of practice under the delegation and supervision of a Registered Nurse and reports to the Nurse Unit Manager through the Registered Nurse in Charge.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in mental health nursing while working in a supportive, learning-focused environment.

What you'll be doing
Undertaking of 0.5 FTE clinical and 0.5 FTE non-clinical administrative, educational, research, and clinical governance responsibilities.
The General Medical service cares for inpatients with complex medical and social issues. The AT will gain experience in a wide range of areas including infectious diseases, endocrinology, rheumatology, cardiology, respiratory medicine, geriatrics and rehabilitation medicine, pain (acute and chronic), toxicology, drug and alcohol medicine, mental health including eating disorders, palliative care, and the management of patients with multisystem disorders and undifferentiated presentations.
Decision making and supervision will be at the appropriate level according to the trainee's skills, knowledge and experience. The medical officer will be expected to adopt a progressively more independent approach to patient management according to their experience, under the guidance of and at the discretion of the appropriate consultant. All patients managed within the hospitals of the health service are under the direct care of a specialist medical practitioner. All decisions regarding their care are to be clearly communicated with the specialist responsible for that care.

What you'll be doing

Depending on the skills and experience there may be an opportunity to participate in the cardiothoracic anaesthetic service. The Staff Specialist may also be credentialed to provide anaesthesia services to the Institute of Rheumatology and Orthopaedics, Professor Marie Bashir Centre and Sydney Dental Hospital.

The successful applicant will be a current registered Medical practitioner, registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Fellowship with Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) and/or other equivalent specialist recognition.

The primary purpose of the role is to provide high quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services in Sexual Assault Medicine and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Sexual Assault Service and Hospital as required.
The Sexual Assault Service offers a crisis response to adults, young people and adolescents, aged 14 years and over. The Visiting Medical Officer in Sexual Assault Medicine will provide clinical management, treatment, and forensic care of patients in RPA Sexual Assault Service, under their care. The role will work with a multidisciplinary team including the Sexual Assault Counsellor, and involves on-call after-hours in twelve-hour shifts, as well as providing advice to other clinical staff on medical or forensic matters relating to sexual assault.
The Visiting Medical Officer will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.
The successful applicant will be a current registered Medical practitioner, registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and hold Fellowship of the Australasian Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, or Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and/or other relevant specialist recognition.

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an unaccredited Cardiology registrar position, working in a supportive, structured teaching environment to support progression to entering advanced training.
You will be part of a collegiate team of 7 Cardiologists and 3 specialist Cardiology registrars supported by junior medical officers working across a 7-day roster. You will have access to weekly education sessions and mentorship from consultants with an open-door policy to assist in developing your clinical proficiency.
The Cardiology service is rapidly evolving. Our cardiac catheterisation laboratory opened in late 2024. Service enhancements anticipated for 2026 include primary PCI capability and multi-modality cardiac imaging. We have strong links to the Gold Coast University Hospital for cardiac surgery and advanced cardiac electrophysiology.

What you'll be doing
As Nurse Manager, you will provide strategic, clinical and operational leadership across Blacktown Inpatient Mental Health Services, ensuring high-quality care while effectively managing people, resources and service demands.
Lead and inspire Nursing Unit Managers and senior nursing staff to deliver safe, contemporary and evidence-based mental health care.
Manage operations and patient flow, monitoring performance, workforce requirements, patient experience and service capacity.
Build workforce capability through coaching, mentoring, professional development, recruitment, retention and leadership of senior nursing teams.
Create and lead change through clinical improvement, service redesign, innovation and implementation of policies, standards and emerging mental health practices.
Drive quality and resource management, ensuring clinical, fiscal, workforce and capital resources are used effectively within NSW Health and legislative requirements.

Essential Requirements
Qualification: Registered Nurse
Registration in line with Award requirements: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated management/education and leadership experience in the public sector including appropriate relevant post graduate qualifications, or extensive experience deemed appropriate by employer.
Demonstrated leadership within the workplace including the ability to form productive working relationships through high level interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Demonstrated high level project and change management skills and the ability to use diagnostic tools and interventions including information technology platforms.
Demonstrated knowledge of roster creation/management and human resource management skills, including the ability to manage daily staffing requirements, recruitment management experience, and knowledge of workforce systems within health.
Demonstrated commitment to own professional development in areas relevant to health management and leadership.
Current valid NSW drivers license and ability to travel between various sites for work purposes.

About the role
This role provides clinical education, training and evaluation of skills and knowledge to promote and support improved nursing care. You’ll plan, deliver and evaluate clinical education programs to groups and individuals to contribute to the development of our nursing workforce, working collaboratively with nursing staff and managers to identify and prioritise individual and unit learning needs.

Bulli Hospital provides inpatient, outpatient and allied health services, as well as the Urgent Care Centre, for the northern Illawarra. The Urgent Care Centre provides treatment for minor injury and illness. The nurse-led model of care enables patients to be seen and assessed by specialist nurses who, in consultation with medical teams, deliver treatment and management plans for patients.
