What you'll be doing
- The Staff Specialist will high quality diagnostic, consultative, procedural and on-call specialty services in Genetic Pathology, and will participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities commensurate with the Staff Specialists (State) Award.
- The Staff Specialist will ensure a high standard of professional performance and, where required, the encouragement of an academic environment which supports research and development.
Selection Criteria
- Currently registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and obtained Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in Genetic Pathology, and/or other specialist recognition as provided under the Staff Specialists (State) Award with Scope of Practice in Genetic Pathology. Applicants expected to obtain Fellowship with the RCPA by February 2027 are eligible to apply.
- Demonstrated commitment to basic, applied or clinical research and/or medical education and staff training.
- Proven ability to work as a team member with effective communication, interpersonal skills and adaptability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Demonstrated personal qualities including effective communication skills, motivation, initiative, time management and commitment to professional development.
- Demonstrated commitment to the principles of clinical quality management, continuous improvement and a contemporary knowledge of National Pathology Accreditation Advisory Council (NPAAC) Standards and NATA accreditation processes.
- Demonstrated contemporary clinical knowledge and technical expertise in the specialty of Genetic Pathology.

An exciting opportunity is available for a Visiting Medical Officer – Primary Care to join our service at the Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network.
We are looking for a qualified health care professional with:
·Current medical registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
·Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practice (FRACGP)ORAustralasian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM).
·Proof of recognition as a specialist by the Specialists Recognition Advisory Committee Award.
·Demonstrated significant experience in General Practice with knowledge of contemporary clinical management and modern approaches in assessment and management of the broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
·Previous experience in emergency medicine, general practice, adult internal medicine, or rural medicine is an advantage.
The Visiting Medical Officer – Primary Care is responsible for the provision of general medical services to patients within correctional environments in Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network facilities. The position will work collaboratively with the Nursing Unit Manager (NUM), Service Director Primary Care and Clinical Director Primary Care to enhance the existing services in line with organisational needs and best practice.

·Demonstrated significant experience in General Practice with knowledge of contemporary clinical management and modern approaches in assessment and management of the broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
·Previous experience in emergency medicine, general practice, adult internal medicine, or rural medicine is an advantage.
The Visiting Medical Officer – Primary Care is responsible for the provision of general medical services to patients within correctional environments in Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network facilities. The position will work collaboratively with the Nursing Unit Manager (NUM), Service Director Primary Care and Clinical Director Primary Care to enhance the existing services in line with organisational needs and best practice.

The Role
The Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (JH&FMHN) Dental Assistant is responsible for supporting the dental clinician in the provision of high standard dental services to patients in Correctional Centres across New South Wales. Dental Assistants are required to visit several sites in the metropolitan area and may be required to travel to rural sites.

The Role
The Lead Dental Assistant is responsible for supporting dental assistants and clinical services within the Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (the Network) Oral Health Service. This includes supervision of dental assistants, management of stores, equipment and the maintenance essential to providing high standard of oral health care to patients in New South Wales (NSW) correctional centres, Youth Justice Centres and the Forensic Hospital. This position supports the provision and coordination of teledentistry and mobile dental unit services and is required to visit several sites across metropolitan and regional areas on NSW.

What you'll be doing
