About the role
Join our team as an Administrative Assistant and play a vital role in supporting quality patient care. You'll provide administrative and reception services, manage outpatient bookings, maintain accurate patient records and documentation, and help streamline departmental processes. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to an efficient, patient-focused healthcare environment.
Key duties of the role
- Provide a front-line reception service to the department.
- Ensuring that enquiries regarding patient welfare are dealt with promptly.
- Process billings for all appointments using department system.
- Book patients follow up appointments.
- Collect, maintain, track, and return case notes.
Skills and Experience
- Work effectively within a team environment.
- Experience with the use of windows and Microsoft Office products; e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Experience in providing a confidential secretarial and personal administrative support service.
- Experience in typing reports, letters, etc.
- Ability to work independently and under limited direction to meet deadlines and achieve agreed outputs.

About the Role:
Lyell McEwin and Modbury Hospitals are some of South Australia's busiest metropolitan public hospitals, and the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is growing to meet the needs of the community.
If you're ready to gain experience in a high-volume, genuinely supportive environment within our Anaesthesia and High Dependency Unit (HDU), join NALHN as a Service Registrar.
What You'll Be Doing
As an Anaesthesia Service Registrar at Lyell McEwin Health Service Hospital or HDU/Anaesthesia Service Registrar at Modbury Hospital, you'll work across a broad surgical caseload and high-dependency care within a consultant-led team. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering safe, evidence-based anaesthesia across elective and emergency lists
- Contributing to HDU patient management, including complex post-operative and critically unwell patients
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimise perioperative and acute care outcomes
- Participating in after-hours on-call rostering as required by the department
What You'll Bring
- Eligibility for provisional or vocational anaesthesia training, or equivalent postgraduate anaesthesia experience
- Demonstrated competence in airway management and perioperative care
- Experience in or readiness to manage HDU-level patients
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient safety aligned with SA Health standards
To be eligible for this position, you must have
- Bachelor of Medicine: Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
- Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration

About the role
As an Assistant in Midwifery, you will work alongside Midwives and/or Registered Nurses to provide safe, compassionate care to women, babies and families throughout their maternity journey. You'll support clinical and non-clinical care activities, contribute to a positive patient experience, and play an important role within a dedicated multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key duties of the role
- Assist Midwives in routine tasks with patients/clients associated with the activities of daily living.
- Set up for nursing procedures, clean equipment, and manage local stock levels.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a physically and culturally safe environment for patients/clients and staff.
- Follow established guidelines, protocols, procedure, standards, and systems.
- Provide person centred care.
Skills and Experience
- Be enrolled as a student in an undergraduate program in midwifery (2nd year or above).
- Experience, within the boundaries of your education and skill preparation, in the provision of nursing/midwifery care in the healthcare setting.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Understanding the role of the Assistant in Midwifery within the healthcare setting.

About the role
The CAMHS Clinician - Clinical Mental Health Nurse is responsible and accountable for their own practice standards and activities they delegate to others. The provision of assessment, education, counselling and group work is considered essential components of care which is directed towards the attainment of optimum consumer health and recovery
Key duties of the role
- Direct delivery of proficient mental health nursing clinical care to clients and their families using evidence-based practice
- Ensure services are delivered in a culturally responsive manner
- Contribute to the clinical leadership of nursing & multidisciplinary services for CAMHS to attain consistency of practice standards and local service outcomes
- Actively participate in undergraduate and postgraduate mental health nursing training, as well as quality management, quality assurance, risk management and ongoing service improvement activities.
- Responsible for individual development and education while encouraging and fostering a positive culture and safe work environment.
Skills and Experience
- Registered or eligible for registration as a nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. Must be enrolled in an approved mental health course or hold a qualification in mental health practice.
- Demonstrated ability to relate to people from a diverse range of cultural and social backgrounds
- Registered Nurse with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines, whilst working under minimal supervision
- Knowledge of Health and Safety and continuous improvement practices.

About the role
The Senior Clinical Coordinator provides specialist clinical expertise in the coordination and planning of multidisciplinary assessments for children with complex neurodevelopmental concerns. The role leads the development, coordination, implementation, delivery and evaluation of high-quality, evidence-based assessment and management services. The position provides advanced clinical assessment and support to children, adolescents and their families experiencing complex developmental differences.

About the role
The Administrative Assistant provides high-level administrative and reception support to the Department. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate clerical documentation, records and booking information. Join SALHN Mental Health Services as a Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Therapist and play an important role in supporting consumers to improve their wellbeing, build resilience and develop greater capacity for self-management.
About the role:
Reporting to the team manager, you will provide individual therapy, group work and phone coaching, while supporting the DBT Coordinator in delivering high-quality, consumer-focused care.
Duties for the role will include:
- Provide proficient, person centred, clinical nursing/midwifery care and/or individual case management to patients/clients in a defined clinical area.
- Undertaking a clinical case load and providing individual care coordination to consumers with complex and specialised needs utilising discipline-specific expertise.
- Undertaking assessments, risk assessments and interventions to increase a consumer’s functional capacity.
- Evaluating the progress made with each consumer, and when appropriate, facilitating transfer of care in a timely manner.
About you:
- Competence in evidence-based DBT interventions
- Advanced skills in undertaking a comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessment including risk assessments
- High level of competence in designing and implementing evidence-based psychological interventions
- Ability to be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within the clinical setting.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in collaborative development, implementation and monitoring of planned interventions for consumers with complex needs.
