Your part in our UnitingCare team
- Lead, coach, support and provide training to frontline staff to ensure high quality care standards, practice frameworks and legislative requirements are met
- Support clients to participate and engage with evaluation, design and delivery of support in line with our client engagement frameworks
- Ensure all requirements (submissions, plans, returns, reports, statistics) in relation to meeting the goals of individual support plans support the optimisation of the participants funding and submitted within required timeframes
- Ensure client care is assessed, planned, implemented, and evaluated in accordance with UnitingCare policy and procedures taking into considerations each client’s needs
- Ensure all requirements (submissions, plans, returns, reports, statistics) in relation to meeting the goals of individual support plans support the optimisation of the participants funding
- Report risks, poor practice and noncompliance with UnitingCare policy and procedure and legislation
What makes a difference for us?
- Knowledge of legislation underpinning the provision of services within the disability sector and the key issues affecting quality of life for people with a disability
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policy and licensing requirements associated with the Disability sector
- Demonstrated experience with internal and external reporting matrix’s and case management experience will be beneficial
- Demonstrated experience in appropriately managing emergency or crisis situations
- Sound understanding of the application of the principles of family or self-governance, personal autonomy, choice and control and intentional safeguarding for our clients
- Demonstrated ability to provide advice, support, coaching, mentoring and training to managers and staff
- Experience in delivering on individualised plans
- A current Positive Notice from Disability Services, willingness to undergo a “Working with Children Check” and a Suitability Card (Blue Card) prior to commencing employment.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificates

About you:

About the opportunity
Multiple opportunities for experienced Scrub Scout or Anaesthetic/PACU nurses in a Level 6 Tertiary hospital. Our unit caters for women who require specialist surgical care, in a variety of areas such as Obstetrics, Urogynaecology, Gynaecological Oncology, Endosurgery and General Gynaecology. We have also have an Emergency 24 hour theatre offering a challenging environment.
Permanent Full-time or Part time available
Rotating Roster including Night duty (options for permanent nights if interested)
Strong commitment to staff education and ongoing professional development with weekly In-services and regular Specialised Study events
What you will bring:

Experience as a Perioperative Nurse , minimum 1 year required
Post Graduate qualification in Peri-operative nursing desirable
Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse

Mercy Palliative Care is a 24 hour community-based palliative care service providing in home care to patients of all ages with life limiting illnesses. Our services covers the North and West Metropolitan region of Melbourne which incorporates seven municipalities including: Brimbank, Maribyrnong, Melbourne, Melton, Moonee Valley, Hobson Bay and Wyndham.

We are seeking a compassionate and highly motivated Registered Nurse Educator to join our Education team in co-ordinating specialist palliative care education to our multidisciplinary staff, including students and graduate nurses all while working within the values of Mercy Health.

- Work within the multidisciplinary team and have a close relationship with the education team at Werribee Mercy Hospital.
Have a strong desire to educate and support the ongoing learnings of the staff at Mercy Palliative Care including student and graduate nursing support and co-ordination.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- Certificate 4 in training and assessment or working towards.

Your Role as Clinical Nurse
You’ll deliver person-centred services across our Hummingbird Houses to provide meaningful and quality care to children and their families by:

Through strategic relationship building and exceptional stewardship, you will help secure transformational support and create lasting impact for the communities we serve.
The role is offered on a 24-month, full-time contract basis, working 38 hours per week.
About the role
Secure major philanthropic gifts and build strong relationships with Philanthropists and foundations.
Develop and manage a portfolio of key donors, creating tailored engagement and stewardship plans.
Lead the planning and delivery of the Road to Recovery fundraising campaign to achieve ambitious revenue targets.
Prepare compelling funding proposals, donor presentations, impact reports, and stewardship communications.
Work closely with senior leaders, clinicians, volunteers, and stakeholders to drive fundraising success.
Coordinate donor engagement, recognition, and fundraising events that enhance the supporter experience.
Maintain accurate donor records, campaign reporting, forecasting, and CRM data management.
Support and mentor volunteers, campaign advocates, and Foundation team members to achieve campaign goals.
Your skills and experience
You are an accomplished fundraising professional with a proven track record of securing major philanthropic gifts and leading large-scale fundraising campaigns. You bring exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to inspire support from high-net-worth individuals, foundations, corporate partners, and community leaders.
A confident and persuasive communicator, you can develop compelling funding proposals, presentations, reports, and donor communications while successfully navigating complex stakeholder environments. Your strong understanding of major gift fundraising and the full donor lifecycle, combined with your resilience, strategic thinking, and results-driven approach, enables you to deliver outstanding fundraising outcomes.
Highly organised and self-motivated, you thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about creating meaningful impact through philanthropy. You bring strong technical and donor management system skills, along with the flexibility to travel and support donor engagement activities and events as required.
