Position Description Local Work Environment St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne (SVHM) operates three Residential Aged Care Services (RACS) facilities - Berengarra, Auburn House and Prague House - collectively providing permanent and respite care for 165 residents. Services include mainstream aged care, psychogeriatric care and spe ialist programs supporting people with mental health diagnoses, acquired brain injuries and/or a history of homelessness. All facilities are registered NDIS providers. The position is primarily based at St George's Health Service in Kew, with responsibilities across campuses and residential aged care sites. RACS forms part of SVHM's Continuing Care Program, alongside Subacute Services, Bed Based Transition Care, Community Services and Healthcare for the Homeless.
Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership and Service Delivery Support the day-to-day operational management of Residential Aged Care Services. Provide direct leadership and oversight of the Lifestyle and Administration Teams. Act as a key liaison with Allied Health teams to support communication, coordinated care and service planning. Monitor operational performance andescalate emerging risks and issues. Coordinate service initiatives, operational projects and improvement activities. The BeWell Program sits within the Psychology Program of Monash Health. The service has been operating for over 5 years and forms on integral part of the wider wellbeing strategy of Monash Health. BeWell continues to provide, promote and support the well-being of Monash Health Staff. - Vocationally Registered General Practitioner (VR GP) with unrestricted AHPRA registration.
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification or equivalent (or willingness to maintain).
- Minimum two years' experience post-fellowship, with previous Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care experience highly regarded.
- Previous leadership, supervision or clinical management experience is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience supporting clinical governance, quality improvement and clinician development.

About the role
In this role you will be responsible for managing the Independent Mental Health Advocacy service (IMHA), which provides opt out non legal advocacy services to consumers subject to or at risk of being placed on a compulsory treatment order in Victoria.
You will be required to lead and manage a diverse team of non-legal advocates, including building the teams' capability to deliver high-quality advocacy services and providing appropriate supervision and debriefing practices. The Marian Drummond Adolescent Unit (Inpatient Service for teenagers 13-17 years) is an 11-bed unit, which provides assessment and treatment to teenagers who require more intensive treatment than can be offered in an outpatient setting. SEDS provides clinical support and guidance to ICYMHS case managers for eating disorders cases, as well as liaising with acute medical and mental health inpatient staff to support treatment and discharge planning for consumers admitted to inpatient units. The SEDS team leads coordination of eating disorders care, including case reviews, the eating disorders registry and service-level monitoring and evaluation.

The Alfred ICU provides Victorian state services for heart and lung transplantation(Including paediatric lung transplantation), short- and long-term mechanical cardiac device, extra-corporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), burns and hyperbaric medicine. The Alfred is one of two centres providing state services for adult trauma, HIV and bone marrow transplantation (autologous and allogeneic). In addition most other surgical and medical subspecialties are represented in the case-mix in keeping with the quaternary referral centre status of The Alfred Hospital.
The Alfred Department of Intensive Care is accredited for 2 core years of training as stipulated by the College of Intensive Care Medicine. There is an extensive consultant led education program including dedicated protected weekly teaching sessions for junior and senior registrars aimed at developing both technical and non-technical skills. This program includes weekly journal club sessions, in-situ simulation training and bronchoscopy training.
We provide an ECMO and artificial heart training program to enable trainees to gain formal certification in this area. In addition, we also provide, for senior registrars, specific training in leadership and mentoring, again with certification available on completion. For advanced trainees preparing for the CICM examination there is additional consultant led training provided.

Forensic Intervention Services provides evidence-based screening, assessment and intervention services for individuals in custody and the community. We focus on areas such as violent and sexual offending, restorative justice, violent extremism and family violence.
This role provides specialist clinical supervision and advice to multidisciplinary clinical teams.

What you'll doAs a Forensic Senior Clinician, Practice working in Barwon Prison Precinct, you will provide leadership, high level consultancy and advice to internal and external stakeholders across the system on clinical matters, particularly in relation to the management of service users and their multi-systemic treatment needs.
You will:
- Provide an advanced range of clinical services, including assessments, case formulation and treatment for service users and specialist advice to other multi-disciplinary clinicians and Correctional staff on the management of clinical and behavioural management issues.
- Role model and mentor clinical staff in the delivery of group-based and individual interventions according to the service remit.
- Enhance workforce capability through the provision of supervision, training and development opportunities for Forensic Intervention Services clinical workforce and other Corrections Victoria staff.
- Travel to correctional facilities across the state.
- Demonstrated experience managing and leading staff in multidisciplinary clinical teams. An advanced understanding of the theory and therapeutic frameworks underpinning assessment and treatment with service users within the justice system, and an ability to apply these frameworks in practice, such as the Risk-Needs-Responsivity principles.
- Significant experience in and knowledge of evidence-based, forensic risk assessments and the delivery of individual and group treatment and behaviour intervention treatment models with complex populations in a justice setting (for example, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, Transtheoretical Model of Change, Trauma Informed Care, Strengths Based Approaches).
- Demonstrated ability to critically analyse and apply current research evidence, methodology and approaches required for effective practice.
- Adherence to key therapist characteristics empathy, warmth, rewarding and directive to facilitate the therapeutic relationship and demonstrated ability to undertake reflective practice and actively participate in clinical supervision to improve clinical practice.
To apply for this role, you'll need to hold or be eligible for, one of the following:
- General registration as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Credentialed as a mental health nurse with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses.
- Registered as an occupational therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
- A master's degree in psychotherapy and registration with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).

The Technical Implementation Lead, Advanced Therapies Program is a senior professional leadership role responsible for building the pharmacy and laboratory capability and capacity required to safely, effectively and sustainably deliver advanced therapies at RCH. The successful applicant must hold a pharmacy qualification and registration as a pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia. Importantly, this is a broad strategic leadership and implementation role spanning both pharmacy and laboratory services, rather than a traditional operational pharmacy position.
Working in partnership with the Program Manager, professional discipline leaders and clinical, research and operational stakeholders, you will lead the development of systems, governance frameworks, workforce capability, quality systems and operational requirements needed to implement gene therapies, cell therapies, precision medicines, personalised therapeutics and other emerging therapies.
You will bring advanced pharmacy expertise and a strong understanding of operational delivery, while focusing primarily on strategic service development, capability building and implementation leadership. You will help ensure pharmacy and laboratory services are ready not only for the advanced therapies being delivered today, but also for the rapidly evolving treatments of the future.
This is a fixed term position for three years until September 2029, working0.8 to 1.0 EFT within the Advanced Therapies Program. Job share opportunities will be considered. The classification for this role is Grade 4 TA20 - TA22 ( $ 127,535.20 - $ 148,309.20 per annum plus super)
